I can feel hatred in her voice; I cannot deny I was hurt again thinking how much she hates me.
But I was puzzled at the same time thinking about how I was responsible for all this, before entering the operation theater I ordered Andrew to do an investigation about this accident.
As the operation was about to start, my Angel’s voice was ringing in my mind. I had made up my mind that after this operation I will never appear in front of her to hurt her anymore.
I don’t know when anesthesia took over all my senses.
Jane’s POV
Only I know how depressed I felt after my engagement, we were about to leave for our house after the party was over and I was about to enter my car when Dad called me from behind and said, “Jane, sweetheart my car broke down, if you don’t mind can I borrow your car?”
I smiled and said, “Of course Dad come in”
He said, “No, sweety pie, actually I have to go to office for some work, so you will have to leave your car with me”
Albert said from behind, “Uncle don’t worry, you can take the car, Jane is not going home right now, I am taking her out”
I looked at Albert puzzled, he just smiled and said, “My friends have thrown a small party for us, so we are heading there right now”
Before I could deny, as I was in no mood to go to any party, my Dad said, “Yes that’s great, anyways Ancy is already at home with her grandparents so no need to worry about her”
And there I was left with no options apart from following Albert.
Jane’s POV
I moved towards Albert’s car and my Dad entered my car, and his car drove off passing us. As we settled down in our car we heard a loud sound, “Bang”
We rushed out of the car immediately and saw a car smashing my Dad’s car again and again and running away, I saw Nina on the driver’s seat in that car.
I am sure I saw her only.
I ran towards my Dad’s car, he was in poor condition, Albert immediately called the ambulance and we admitted him to the hospital.
I was unable to stop my tears when doctors told me about his internal injury, my world shattered.
I had finally found my father who loves me so much, and now I am about to lose him.
After losing my Mom I cannot lose my Dad.
As I was in discussion with the doctor Macro came and said that he wants to donate his kidney.
Seeing Nina at the accident site was enough for me to understand why she did this and my anger rose, and I told him to think again, but he was adamant to do it.
Now I am standing in front of the operation theater praying for the safety of both the people inside the operation theater.
Even though I hate Marco at this moment, because he was the reason for all these, but still as a human I was praying for him also.
After waiting for hours finally the doctor came out and said both are fine and the transplant was successful.
I was so happy that I jumped in Albert’s arms in happiness, he hugged me back happily.
I will not lose my Dad, he will be with me this thought took away all my sorrows.
Marco’s POV
When I opened my eyes, I found my Mom sitting next to me on my bed, for the first time in my life I saw the pride on her face.
She said smiling, “Son, we are proud of you” and my Dad who was standing behind her smiled looking at me.
In my life I always did what I wanted, never cared about my parents also but they always stood by me, but they also lost hope in me when I lost my Angel.
I don’t blame them for not talking to me for the last three years, they took her as their daughter and I hurt their daughter so badly, so they did the right thing. No parents could tolerate what I did.
But today seeing the pride in their eyes because of me, I felt happy after so long.
They spent some time with me in my ward, my Mom cut fruits for me, I felt like family once again, but at this moment I missed my Angel and my daughter, only they can complete my family.
After some time my parents left, I called Andrew.
Andrew reached the hospital in less than half an hour, I asked the moment he entered the room, “Did you find anything?”
Andrew nodded and said, “President, It was all done by Nina, her target was Mrs. President, but because she changed her car with her Dad on the last moment so Mr. Grayson became her target unknowingly”
Andrew said many things but my mind was stuck to his word, “Mrs. President” how good that sounds; I wish I could again make her my Mrs. President in this life.
I said coming out of my thoughts, “Did you find Nina’s whereabouts?”
Andrew nodded, “No President, she is hiding really well”
I thought for a moment and said, “Arrange a press conference for me in next half an hour”
Andrew was puzzled but he left nodding his head.
After a half an hour press conference was arranged at Marco’s house, he was still very weak but he walked with the help of Andrew in front of the reports.
He said slowly, “Hello everyone thanks a lot for coming on such a short notice”
He was getting breathless between his words but he continued, “Today I called you all here, because I want to apologize to someone whom I never cared off and never cherished her love for me”
Everything was live on TV channels and all advertisements TV in malls, theaters, and everywhere.
Everyone’s eyes were on TV thinking whose name Marco was going to take.
