He reached the hospital and Scot had prepared everything in advance and took Sara to emergency and started the treatment.
While Jason was waiting outside the operation room, he sat on the bench covering his face with his palms. He was crying. He was never this scared in his life.
Sara’s operation lasted for four hours, when Scot came out Jason rushed towards him and asked “how is she?”
Scot replied “she lost too much blood, we can’t say anything for now she is in coma”.
Scot left without even looking at Jason, he was angry at Jason.
Sara was shifted to the VIP ICU ward, Jason wanted to see her badly but he didn’t know how he would face her, even if she was unconscious.
He was peeping from the glass when all of sudden he was pulled and thrown on the floor and Tax started punching Jason badly. Jason didn’t fight back; he thought his friends were angry at him.
Tax said “Jason how could you do this to her, she loved you wholeheartedly do you know much she had suffered for you? Do you know why she left you three years ago? How could such a girl fall in love with a monster like you?
The situation in which she gave birth to your kids she would have died but she took that risk because she said “this is the blessing i got from god and Jason’s only thing with me I would die but will not abort the child”
Jason was shocked to hear what Tax said and he grabbed Tax’s shirts color and asked “how do you know all these?” Tax said “because the person you are looking for is me, yes I am the
one who was helping Sara all these years”
Tax grabbed Jason’s shirt and dragged him and said “come I will tell you the mystery of these three years”.
Tax took Jason to his study in his house and closed the door and asked Jason to sit.
He started his laptop and started showing him the photos and said these are the photos and letter Sara got in parcels three years ago, when Jason saw the photos’ it was his and Rose photos but as much as he remember he had never clicked any picture with Rose and read the letters also after that Tax played an audio it was the same audio where Rose called Sara and spoke to her Tax had managed to get the taped because of his underworld connects, when Jason heart what Rose said to Sara about being the Surrogate mother and all the crap now he understood why Sara left him without letting him give any explanation because she thought he loved Rose , he was feeling the unbearable pain that his Sara had faced for three years.
Tax again said “three years ago when I was at Shanghai airport returning from out annual meet with all the gang leaders I heard a commotion at another corner of the airport so I rushed and saw Sara lying on the floor, one elderly couple took the initiative to help her I helped them and took Sara to hospital there we got to know that she was pregnant.
I thought of calling you but Sara woke up and stopped me telling you anything about her and then she told me everything she had suffered, I tried to explain her about your relation with Rose but she believed what she had seen with her own eyes she took a promised from me saying I am like brother to her and I was not able to deny it, I kept in touch with her I also visited her often, it was her third month of pregnancy when doctor informed her about the complications and asked her to abort the child.
As per doctor Sara’s body was very weak to carry child and that too twins, but Sara denied and asked me to be the godfather of the children if she dies at the time of delivery, by god grace Sara made it through the birth but she woke up after a week and she loved kids more than her life but what you did you kept her away from her only lifeline.
Jason’s hands were trembling in anger; guilt, sorrow and many feelings were flowing in his mind.
He asked Tax “if you knew everything why didn’t you inform me?” Tax said “first because of the promise made to Sara and secondly I wanted to know how and why Rose did this? Did she get any help? If yes, then who is that person? I was investigating this for the past three years but didn’t get through it and expect you also to do things but without anyone knowing it”.
Jason’s phone rang and it was from his home that means his kids are calling him to know about their Mumma.
Jason picked up the call with trembling hands and said “hello” from the other hand his daughter said “Dad why are you not back yet where is Mumma we are missing you”
Jason tried hard and said “y.. you. your Mumma is not feeling well she is in hospital uncle Harry will bring you two to see your Mumma” and hung up the call, stood from sofa composed himself and said “Tax I can’t say thanks to you for the things you have done for me, you saved Sara for all these years my only family and my love, but I can promise you one thing people who made her suffer will suffer 10 times of her sufferings” after saying this he left for hospital.
When he reached hospital kids had already reached when they saw Jason coming they ran towards him and Alice his daughter asked “why is Mumma like this what happened to her why she is so lean, you said you will take care of her.. you are bad Dad that’s why Mumma left you, you didn’t took good care of her” kids were crying they had never seen their Mumma like this.
They both said together “we hate Dad we will leave you once Mum is well, we don’t want to be with you, we hate you”
