As soon as Joel got in the car, he picked up his phone and dialed Dr. Clinton’s number.
“Are they still in the hospital?” He asked as soon as Dr Clinton picked his call.
Knowing the ‘they’ that the CEO was talking about was his brother and his brother’s family, Dr. Clinton replied with a “they left the hospital a while ago.”
Joel nodded his head like Dr. Clinton could see him from the other side of the phone and hanged up without saying another word.
He kick-started the car and drove out if the mansion.
Since the Chois also lived in Grand Residential Close, it didn’t take him much time to arrive at the villa.
“Is my brother back yet?” He asked as he parked his car and stepped out of the car.
“Ye.” was the guards’ replies.
Joel nodded his head curtly and walked into the lounge.
“Uncle JJ!” Little Pumpkin who had missed his uncle squelched as soon as he saw Joel walk in.
The young boy was seated between his parent, watching a movie when Joel walked in.
Joel grinned as he carried his nephew who ran to hug him from the ground and twirled him around like his wife usually did, making Little Pumpkin giggle. “Hey, yo buddy.”
Carefully, he brought Little Pumpkin back to the ground and walked with him to the couch Michael and his wife were sitting on.
“How are you feeling now?” He asked Evelyn, settling himself into an armchair.
“Really good.” Evelyn replied with a smile on her face.
Joel nodded his head and frowned, “I’m sorry we didn’t come back to the hospital since we left two days ago…”
Evelyn grinned “It’s okay, jinjja it’s really okay.”
Joel pouted playfully and smiled, looking over at his brother seemed more lovely than he had always been when Evelyn wasn’t around.
“Errrm, well… Emily and I are having our wedding very soon. ” He blurted out.
Michael couldn’t believe his ears, “Mbo? What wedding?”
Joel raised his palms up in the air, “Wedding, as in real wedding. We’re married.”
Michael couldn’t believe his brother, “Yah! And you didn’t even tell me? You skipped all the processes and went straight to marrying her?…”
He twitched. “Unbelievable! Isn’t it always going out on a date first, then engagement before marriage??! You skipped the processes and married straight up? Just like that? Marriage is not a easy thing I tell you.”
Joe twitched his lips and looked over at his brother’s wife, “huh, Evelyn?”
Evelyn grinned, “Unn?”
“Did my brother court you? ” Joel asked.
Evelyn shook her head, “Ani.”
“Did you guys perhaps date?”
“Anyo.” Evelyn replied, laughing.
Joel nodded his head and looked back at his brother who had been staring back and forth at him and Evelyn.
“Hmn!” Michael cleared his throat uneasily.
Evelyn couldn’t help but burst into laughter as she watched the brothers. It felt so good to be back at home.
“Well, if you don’t mind, I’ve got work to do.” Joel stated, getting up on his feet.
“Get me some water.” He ordered a maid he came by as he strode over to the staircase, and climbed up.
As soon as he stepped into his room, he made some calls through and teleworked on his laptop throughout the noon.
When he was through with work, he went downstairs for dinner and went back upstairs to take a shower.
After he was done, he wore his robe and laid on his bed, putting a call through to his wife. “Hey babe.”
Emily who had been expecting his call couldn’t help but giggle as she sat on the bed.
Her husband had just called her babe, soo cute. “Hello?”
“How are you?” Joel asked.
“I’m fine.”
“Had dinner already?”
“Nde.”
“Ah… hope you’re good?”
“Yeah.”
“I miss you.”
Emily couldn’t help but blush. Her husband was so naughty. “…”
“I said I miss you… don’t you miss me?” Joel asked, pouting his lips.
Emily’s mouth curled up in a cute smile, “well, I do.”
“Umm…”
“So when should I come pick you up?” Joel asked, staring at nothing in particular.
“In the morning. I’m going to the industry.” Emily replied.
Joel scrunched up his face, “Huh? Are you sure you’re ready to get back to work?”
Emily nodded her head, “Nde.”
“Okay. You’ll ride with me to the industry and I’ll come pick you up when you’re done.”
Emily smiled. “Arasso.”
Her husband had been acting possessive lately and she was finding it romantic.
“I’ll bring you everything you need. Have sweet dreams okay?”
“Okay.”
“I love you.”
Emily’s cheeks turned blazing red from blushing.
“I love you too” she managed out of her mouth.
After the call ended, Emily couldn’t help but roll around on the bed, giggling with her phone clasped on her chest.
Joel simply smiled and rolled over on his side.

Very early the next morning, the CEO took his bath, dressed up for work and walked into his wife’s room to pick a dress for her.
He rummaged through her closet and although everything in there were expensive and classy, he didn’t like them. He rang the bell and three maids walked in.
The CEO gritted his teeth in irritation, “and why haven’t this wardrobe been changed?”
“Are you deaf?!” He thundered angrily.
“Sir… we always change her wardrobe every week… it’s not the end of the week yet.” One of the maids stuttered.
The maids couldn’t meet his gaze as the room turned absolutely cold and uncomfortable for them.
Joel sneered and walked out of the room.
“Come with me!” He bellowed.
The CEO climbed down the stairs, and took long strides out of the lounge with his hands in his pocket and his face radiant as ever.
He placed his hand on the door to the duplex and walked through it. He entered his passcode and climbed up the stairs to the closet.
After scrutinizing some dresses, he picked out five that he felt were best, five shoes for them and five handbags that matched with the dresses.
He picked some undies and took a cologne, a makeup box and handed them over to the maids.
“Wrap the clothes and drop everything in the car.” He ordered, taking long strides out of the duplex.
He went back upstairs, carried his laptop and climbed downstairs.
His chauffeur was already in the black Maybach parked in front of the lounge, waiting for him. Joel got in the car and the chauffeur driven out of the villa.
“Head straight to The Chois’ ” He ordered.
“Nde” the driver bobbed his head as he drove.
As soon as they got the Chois’ mansion, Joel carried the nylons and walked into the house.
“Oppa!” Becky squealed happily and hugged him as soon as he stepped into the lounge.
Joel grinned and wrapped his handful arms around her. “How are you?”
“I’m good.” She replied, grinning.
“Where is everyone?”
“Vincent has gone to work, grandpa and ma are in their room discussing with aunt. Promise has gone to school and your wife is upstairs, waiting for you.” Becky stated, clasping her hands together.
“She’s in the room next to mine.” She added.
Joel grinned “Kumawo.”
He missed her just as she missed him. She was the younger sister he never had.
“You should come over to the villa sometimes. Hyung and Evelyn will be glad to see you.” Joel said as strode over to the foot of the staircase.
“Jinjja! Omo! How lovely!!” Becky couldn’t hide her excitement as she jumped around before walking into the kitchen.
Joel chuckled as he climbed up the stairs. He walked over to the third room by the right and silently, he creaked it open.
Emily had just finished taken her bath and had a towel on. She didn’t know Joel was behind her as she dabbed a face towel on her face.
Joel smiled, dropped the bags as silently as he could and wrapped his arms around Emily’s waist.
“Did you miss me?” He asked, smooching Emily’s neck down to her shoulders.
At first, Emily had gone still but when she heard her voice, she relaxed.
Turning to face him, she smiled “I did.”
Joel returned her smile with a charming smirk and nodded his head.
“Here are the things you need. I’ll be downstairs.”
He couldn’t bear to watch her change into a dress; seeing her wrapped in the towel was giving him a hard-on already.
He smooched her forehead and walked out of the room.

Emily didn’t take too much time to get dressed.
She wore her heels carried a bag and wrapped the rest of the clothes before going downstairs. She wondered how her husband knew the perfect sizes for her undies.
“Ready?” Joel asked as she walked towards him, gorgeously dressed.
“Nde. Let me go say bye to them.” Emily replied with a killer smile as she dropped the nylon on the couch next to Joel.
“I’ll say hello to them for you.” She added, walking away.
Joel watched as his wife swayed her hips in seductive motions.
He shook his head vigorously, she was definitely going to be the death of him.
After a short while, Emily appeared and the duo walked out of the lounge, hand in hand.
