Looking at the person close at hand, Lucy pushed him. He in turn hugged her tighter.
“Let…” There was no way to say a word completely, and she simply bit him. Smith loosened her with pain, eyes full of grievances.
Lucy glared at him and reprimanded him in a low voice: “You have forgotten what I just said, so many eyes are watching.”
“Well, everything my wife said is right.” He hugged her and put his chin on her shoulders. He held her soft body and there was a lot in his heart.
Lucy was held by him and didn’t dare to move.
“When will we come back?” Her cheeks began to heat up, and Lucy felt a little uncomfortable being held by him.
Smith stopped teasing her, let go of her, and then took her hand up, “Now.”
“You’re kidding!” She glared at him, pulled her hand back and went to the car. Smith smiled knowingly, and went up with her.
As soon as she sat down, she felt a little tired. Lucy couldn’t help but curled up and started to doze.
Smith glanced at the review mirror, his heart felt soft, and when the car arrived, he woke her up.
Lucy was still a little confused, staring at Smith with a dim look. He stared at Lucy and said softly: “We’re here, you can go in first.”
“Um…” She rubbed her eyes and got out of the car. The cool wind blew over, making her more awake.
She glanced at the house in front of her, she’s back after a long absence. Lucy looked at it with complicated feelings.
When she lifted her leg and walked in, she opened the door and turned on the light. This place was still the same as before. She walked in, still a little groggy in her head, and her steps were frivolous.
Smith came over with something and couldn’t help worrying when seeing her rubbing her eyebrows.
“Are you not feeling well?”
Lucy shook her head, and only said: “It’s okay.”
“Really?” He was skeptical, but after watching for a long time, he didn’t see any weird place coming, so he didn’t ask much.
Smith walked to the side and got a glass of water for her. She felt relieved after drinking it.
“I will show you something.” Holding her hand, Smith smiled.
She looked at the person in front of her suspiciously, seeing him holding her hand and leading her inside. She couldn’t help but guess what he was going to do.
“Here.” He stood in front of the bedroom door and stopped.
Lucy stepped forward, glanced at it in doubt, and couldn’t help asking: “Look at the door?”
“Push it open to see?” He smiled and looked at the woman in front of him.
Lucy heard the words and walked over in a daze.
The moment the door was pushed open, it seemed as if she was traveling through time. Lucy looked at the inside for a moment.
Smith took the opportunity to take out the things he had kept in his pocket for a long time, walked slowly to her, knelt on one knee, and solemnly said: “Lucy, will you marry me?”
“Are you making a proposal?” Lucy took a step inside, the room full of roses and dark stardust, the gleaming wall seemed to be a real starry sky.
Smith responded, “I want to marry you as my wife.”
“Oh.” She looked around the room, and then watched Smith circle around, “Let me think about it.”
He almost squatted unsteadily. Looked at the woman in front of him, and asked uncertainly: “How long will it take?”
Seeing his nervous appearance, Lucy looked at him with a suffocated smile.
“It depends on my mood.”
Smith couldn’t help lowering his head, feeling aggrieved.
Lucy patted him on the shoulder and said with a smile: “Thank you.”
“Um…” He stood up.
Lucy had already taken the things and put them back to their original place.
Smith followed behind, like a little tail. She stopped and he stopped too. After a long time, Lucy became a little impatient, “Why do you follow me?”
“I’m waiting for you to be happy.” He explained.
Lucy glared at him, “If you love to follow, just follow.”
“Eh…” Smith frowned, not knowing what to say.
The ring in his pocket hadn’t been sent out yet. Looking at Lucy who had already returned to the room, he hesitated for a while before he went in.
She listened to the sound, but when she turned around, she was a little puzzled to see Smith, “It’s so late, what’s the matter with you?”
He didn’t say a word, Lucy frowned, and turned around again, “If there’s nothing wrong, go to sleep, I’m tired.”
“I’m going on a business trip tomorrow. I’m afraid I won’t be able to come back for two months.” He hesitated.
Lucy let out a flat voice.
Smith added: “It’s about your father. There is news over there.”
“Huh?” She looked sideways at the man.
“Someone found his position over there, and the person has already been caught. This time, I’m going to be the jury.”
“I will go too.” Lucy immediately stood up and looked at him solemnly, “When we come back, I will marry you immediately.”
“Okay, let’s get married.” Smith smiled. They were finally able to be together, and he would never lose her again in this life.
