Chapter 107 Think I’ll screw you

Book:Marry A Disabled Man Published:2024-6-1

Miles signed the contract with Matilda, and asked people to arrange various matters for Matilda.
The first thing was to arrange an agent for Matilda.
However, Matilda knew it, but was very unhappy.
Arriving at Globalhive Pictures at an appointed time, Matilda went straight upstairs to find Miles.
However, as soon as she walked in, she was stopped by someone.
“Miss, I’m sorry, you can’t go up.” The front desk lady stopped Matilda with a very respectful and professional attitude.
Matilda looked up and down the receptionist, but it was easy to see the hostility in her eyes.
She smiled and said, “Okay, I’m officially here today. I can understand if you don’t know me, but, little girl, remember my face, if you see me in the future, remember to let me in.”
The receptionist heard Matilda’s words, and was still very disturbed.
However, she had seen too many beautiful women come to the company for various reasons in order to become a star. Such women usually did not end well.
Therefore, it was not a mistake for her to stop this extremely beautiful woman like this. She was just making a contribution to the company.
Matilda didn’t argue with her, took out her mobile phone and called Miles, “It seems that you have to come down to pick me up yourself. Otherwise, I won’t be able to get in.”
On the other end of the phone, Miles’ face darkened after hearing Matilda’s words.
The assistant was so nervous watching from the sidelines, and was about to ask, when the boss got up and walked out of the office.
Miles directly entered the exclusive elevator, and arrived at the lobby on the first floor after a while.
When his figure appeared, the woman at the front desk tensed up.
The way she looked at Matilda also became very strange.
She couldn’t believe that this woman didn’t come here to look for opportunities.
Matilda glanced at the receptionist, but didn’t tell Miles about her rudeness to her.
She looked at Miles and said, “Looks like you have to give me a pass next time.”
“No, I’ll ask someone to hang your photo here later, and no one can stop you in the future,” Miles said.
The corner of Matilda’s mouth twitched. Miles’s method was…
Very shocking.
She said, “It doesn’t have to be like this. I don’t want people throwing eggs at my photo.”
“So unconfident?” Miles raised his brows lightly, and said, “How do you know that everyone doesn’t show their love to your photo?”
Matilda was speechless.
She felt that she had met a master, and was able to meet such a countrified man.
She boasted that she could play with all male creatures, but she didn’t expect that Miles could make her so speechless.
Seeing that she didn’t speak, Miles asked suspiciously, “What’s wrong? I’m not right?”
“No,” Matilda shook her head and said, “I just think, you’re pretty amazing.”
Miles didn’t understand Matilda’s words, just as the elevator had already reached the floor.
When they got out of the elevator, he saw the assistant standing at the door, looking very anxious.
However, when he saw that Miles came out of the elevator with Matilda, he immediately understood.
He had long felt that Miles was unusual to Matilda, and now he was even more certain of his idea.
He was already silently preparing to ride on Matilda’s coattails, and in the future, there might be hope for a salary increase.
Matilda noticed the assistant’s eyes, pursed her lips and smiled as a greeting.
Walking into Miles’ office, Matilda said straight to the point, “Mr. Hayden, you arrange an agent for me. I don’t have any problems, but I have a request.”
“You say.” Miles motioned for her to bring it up anyway.
Now that he had decided to make Matilda famous unconditionally, he will naturally follow her wherever she requested.
With such a small thing as choosing an agent, Miles naturally won’t refuse.
Matilda said, “I want my agent to obey me completely.”
“You want to take care of things by yourself?” Miles was a little taken aback. Matilda didn’t seem like she would want to take care of things by herself.
Matilda said, “What? Don’t trust me? Or do you think I can’t handle it well? Or, you think I’ll cheat you?”
Miles said, “I don’t care about these things, but you have to understand that a top artist has very little time to handle things on her own.”
Matilda didn’t know about this point. It could be said that she didn’t know anything about the entertainment industry.
Those superficial cognitions basically came from Aimee.
However, Aimee was not someone who was interested in the entertainment industry, and the people she contacted all turned to her for help.
Matilda wasn’t interested in them, so she never knew about them.
Now hearing what Miles said, Matilda became interested. She held her chin and thought for a while, and finally decided to have full authority to decide all her own matters.
Matilda said, “Mr. Hayden, as for me, you have known me for a few days, and you should have some understanding of my temperament. It is impossible for me to work hard for you like that, so even if you give me a gold-medal agent, it’s just a waste of her resources.”
Hearing Matilda’s candid words, Miles had a headache.
He originally planned to let Matilda gradually adapt to the work in the entertainment industry, and let her taste the fun of it, so that she would willingly become his cash cow.
Fortunately, Matilda had completely cut off what he wanted to do.
Miles pinched between his brows, and said to Matilda, “You have such an idea now. Maybe, after a while, your idea will change. Do you think this is possible?”
Matilda understood what he meant, smiled enchantingly, and said, “Mr. Hayden, if you play tricks like this, it would be too boring.”
“It can’t be said to be tricks, but you can’t say everything too absolutely, can you?” Miles said.
Matilda shrugged her shoulders and said, “It depends on what you do. If you have less plot, maybe I will consider it.”
Miles understood that it was basically delusional to get what he wanted from Matilda.
This woman, as shrewd as a fox, did not give him any chance to succeed.
For the first time, Miles actually felt a little frustrated.
