Meadow accompanied Azalea to the hospital. After a check-up, the doctor told Meadow that Azalea was pregnant.
Meadow was very happy and immediately called Michael to tell him the good news. However, the call couldn’t get through, so Meadow had to call Wayne instead.
Wayne had been very depressed at first, but when he heard that Azalea was pregnant, he cheered up immediately. “I told you that the Davis family is not that unlucky. Michael did not refuse Wayne’s call. When Michael answered the phone, Wayne said happily, “Michael, good news! Azalea has just found out that she is pregnant.”
“Why is that good news?” Michael said coldly, “She’s just pregnant, isn’t she? What’s there to be happy about?”
“Shouldn’t you be happy? Michael, what are you talking about?”
“Hey, granddad, aren’t you going to think about this clearly? The child she had given birth to is sick. Aren’t you afraid that the child she’s pregnant with now will be sick too?” Wayne felt that Michael was thinking too much. “How is it possible?”
“How is it not possible? I’ve asked the doctor. Epilepsy is caused by genetic factors. No one in our family has this kind of disease, right? Then it must be Azalea’s problem. If Azalea has this kind of gene, the children she gives birth to will continue to inherit this disease. By then, the Davis family will be a joke to everyone again.”
“It’s not that serious, is it? I was going to discuss with you how we should announce Azalea’s pregnancy. What should we do now then?” Wayne was delighted at first, but his parade had been rained on when he heard Michael’s words.
“If you don’t want our family to become a joke, you’d better calm down and keep a low profile.” After saying that, Michael hung up the phone.

The assistant smiled and said, “I’ve brought good news this time. Leonard had been beaten up and is now in a hospital.”
“Who did it?”
“Ms. Saunders. I asked about Leonard’s situation and found out that his eyes nearly exploded from her punches! Oh yes, and Miss Clark was sent to the hospital last night too. It seems that she ate something she shouldn’t have.”
“What did she eat?” Michael sat up straight.
“Someone drugged her with that kind of thing.”

Michael immediately called William. “Did Leonard do something to Abbie?”
“Yes! Braelynn arrived just in time. Leonard didn’t succeed and was beaten up by her. He won’t be able to do anything for some time now!”
“Leonard, that son of a b*tch, how dare he lay a finger on Abbie! F*ck, I’ll kill him! Once I get my hands on him…”

Just then, the door of the ward was pushed open, and his assistant came in with food. “Mr. Floyd, I brought you something to eat.”
“I don’t want to eat!” Leonard waved his hand irritably. “Hey, any news on what I told you to do?”
Leonard liked to seek revenge for the smallest grievance immediately, so his assistant didn’t dare delay. “I sent someone to keep an eye on Braelynn yesterday and found something strange.”
“Just say it. Don’t beat around the bush. Are you trying to make me anxious?” Leonard urged impatiently.
“Braelynn lives in the most luxurious villa in B City. That villa is very expensive. How could she afford it?”
“Maybe it’s William’s estate and he had let her live there? There’s no use worrying about this kind of thing. I just want to know if Braelynn has been dealt with! If she is, report to me immediately!”
