When Michael was welcomed into the living room, Francis asked the servant to pour tea for him. “Michael, I was just about to look for you.”
Michael did not take the tea since he had his guard up against Francis. “You’re looking for me because of Evelyn’s matter, right?”
“Have you also heard about it? Evelyn isn’t in her right mind now, how could she do such a thing? I’m angry at her.” Michael couldn’t stand looking at how Francis was putting up an act.
He said lightly, “Mr. Gurney, I heard that Evelyn killed more than one person.”
Francis and Frederick were both shocked. “What do you mean?”
“Don’t you know?” Michael asked, “Evelyn has already killed someone else before she ordered Jacqueline to poison Valeria. Jacqueline has confessed that Evelyn had given her poison and ordered her to commit murder. Evelyn’s bodyguard was the one who supplied the poison, and he has already confessed to his crimes after being arrested.”
Francis and Frederick looked at each other. Things were more serious than they had imagined. Francis was not pretending anymore and he was really furious now. “This d*mned wench! How could she become like this?”
Frederick also said, “How could this be? What should we do now?”

Leonard immediately asked his assistant when Abbie was mentioned, “Have you prepared the gift that I asked you to buy?”
The assistant nodded and said, “Yes, it just arrived. I was just about to tell you about it.”
Leonard thought for a moment and said, “Alright, reserve a place in the restaurant and have them make the arrangements. I’ll treat Abbie to dinner tomorrow night.”
