Madelyn heard Danya laugh just as she was thinking. “Is she sick in the head? How could she treat Angel as her daughter?”
“It’s because she replaced her daughter with Emily’s child, but she didn’t know that Ornard had asked Gurmisran to do the same thing. She assumed that Angel was her daughter, but she didn’t know that her daughter had been replaced by Gurmisran from the start.”
“She’s really pathetic. How can she treat an outsider with such loyalty and care when her own daughter is dead?! Unfortunately, Angel is an ungrateful person. If she really had some compassion in her, she would never treat Madelyn like utter sh*t.”
“We can’t be too greedy in life. After all, what goes around will definitely come around. There will always be someone ahead that’s plotting your demise.”
Madelyn didn’t expect to hear this. She really didn’t believe that Angel was not her daughter, but Paisley and Danya had a point. It was impossible for them to know that she had changed her daughter in the past, so they must be speaking the truth.

“I would torture Angel to death if I were in her shoes and crush Angel’s hopes and dreams. Everything is up to Madelyn now.”
Madelyn stood behind the fire escape for a few more minutes before she left Paisley’s apartment building with heavy footsteps.
She really didn’t believe that Angel was not her daughter, but how could Paisley and Danya know so much about this?
Madelyn felt a chill when she thought of how cruelly Angel treated her. If what Paisley and Danya said was true that Angel was Ornard’s daughter, everything she had done for Angel during this period of time was a complete joke.
No matter what, she needed to confirm Angel’s true identity first.
The fastest way was to do a DNA test, so she immediately went back to take a sample from Angel before going to the identification centre.
Meanwhile, Francis had ordered someone to give Azalea the medicine that would make her unconscious. Just then, Marcus immediately reported everything to William after he watched the video.
William chuckled and said, “Francis is so ruthless that he even gave Azalea some drugs to prove her innocence. Well, he can dream on! Get someone to send the video of the food being thrown out by the bodyguards to the police. Get a portion of the poisoned food and give it to the police as well. Then, I want a doctor to flush out Azalea’s stomach and tell them that she was poisoned by Francis. I’ll see what Francis will do this time!”
Marcus understood and said, “I’ll do it right away. I’ll definitely make Azalea suffer and force Francis to desperation!”
