Francis nodded and said, “You came back just in time. The servant who serves doesn’t know how to follow the rules, please hire someone else.”
“Okay!” Frederick agreed. “Sir, I have something to tell you.”
“Okay, let’s go to the study!” Francis got up and went to the study with Frederick.
Francis walked to the chair beside the desk and sat down after he closed the door of the study. He gestured for Frederick to sit down as well. “What did you find out?”
“I haven’t figured out what happened to Azalea yet, but I heard something today. I don’t know how Mrs. Davis sent Azalea into the operating room to have an abortion, but she was saved by Michael.”
Francis was extremely surprised when he heard that. “Azalea is pregnant? Doesn’t Meadow like Azalea so much? Wouldn’t she be happy since Azalea got pregnant? Why did she suddenly do this? Michael’s reaction is weird as well. If he’s willing to help Azalea, what’s with his scandal before this?”
Francis suddenly burst into laughter after he asked so many questions. “Am I getting senile? How can I forget such an important thing? Does this mean that the Davis family has confirmed Azalea’s identity?”
“You’re so much smarter than most people, how could you guess the truth so quickly?” Frederick sincerely admired him.
“Wayne met Fandrey today and Meadow also had an appointment with Emily. The meeting probably didn’t go well because Wayne was sent to the hospital urgently. Judging from how Azalea was forced into getting an abortion, the Davis family should have confirmed that Azalea has nothing to do with the Floyd family. This should be the reason why they were so heartless to Azalea.”
“It’s really amazing! The Davis family is really shameless. Will they still be able to live if this gets out?” Francis was very disgusted with the Davis family’s behaviour. When he thought of Azalea’s familiar face, he couldn’t help but ask with sympathy, “What’s the situation with Azalea now?”
Frederick replied, “Azalea was brought back to the Davis family by Michael, so we don’t know what’s going on with her right now.”
“What is Michael trying to do? It doesn’t seem that he likes Azalea, so why is he doing this?” Francis frowned.
“Sir, have you forgotten the relationship between the Davis and the Clark family? It is said that they fell out because of Azalea and Abbie. Abbie is gone now and rumour has it that Azalea killed her, but there is no evidence. Michael loves Abbie very much, but he despises Azalea. I guess he has long learned from William that Azalea isn’t related to the Floyd family at all.”
“Do you mean that Michael saved Azalea and took her back home to get back at his family? That’s really cruel!”
Francis sighed and said, “I think highly of Michael. If it weren’t for Azalea, I would like Evelyn to marry him.”
Frederick was stunned. “Sir, didn’t you want Miss to be with Thomas?”
Francis explained, “Both of them don’t like each other at all. After what happened with Valeria, Thomas doesn’t like Evelyn even more than before. Since relationships can’t be forced, we can only put this matter aside.”
“That’s a pity. I thought Miss could be with Thomas so that the Gurney family will have one more capable man in the future.” Frederick was very regretful.
“Thomas didn’t have any intentions to work in the Gurney family. It can be seen from his choice after he graduated, so I don’t expect him to be of much use to our family now. I just hope that he won’t make any trouble for us.”
“No, Thomas is kind-hearted and he won’t do such a thing.”
“I hope so!” Francis also felt that Thomas would not be the kind of person who would be so ungrateful. However, Thomas didn’t have much of a relationship with the Gurney family. The only person Thomas wanted to repay was Frederick, not the Gurney family.
Thomas would rather work and earn money himself rather than accept financial help from the Gurney family. With this, Francis felt that it was very difficult to control Thomas. “We don’t have to care about Thomas right now. Let’s talk about Michael first. I still want to set him up with Evelyn if he can settle Azalea’s matter.”
Frederick hesitated for a moment before replying, “Michael’s love history is in a mess and his status with Azalea isn’t clear at all. I don’t think he’s a good match for MIss. If you want to choose someone of equal status, there are many young talents in B City. For example, Raymond from the Saunders family, Andrew from the Howard family, and Mr. Richard.”
“I’ve thought about all the people you mentioned. It’s impossible for Raymond and Andrew to be with Evelyn. Have you forgotten that Evelyn dealt with Valeria before this? The Saunders family and the Howard family will never agree to it.”
Francis sighed. “In fact, I was most optimistic about Richard at the beginning, but he wasn’t cooperative with me at all. I met up with him twice for business dealings, but he was incredibly straightforward and he didn’t give me any chance at all.”
Francis poured out all of his concerns to Frederick. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to get in touch with the people that Frederick had mentioned, but they wouldn’t give Evelyn a chance at all.
“Michael is the only suitable candidate left, but Azalea’s matter poses a threat.”
“Azalea has no status in the Davis family at all. Wayne and Meadow don’t like her, and Michael has no feelings for her. What can she do now? The only troublesome matter is the child in her belly. Everything will be easier if the Davis family can get rid of her child.”
“Sir, why don’t you take Miss to see Michael? You can let them get close to each other first. Azalea is not a problem at all if Michael and Miss start to have feelings for each other,” Frederick suggested.
“That’s a good idea. I’ll make an appointment with Michael to see what he thinks about this. I’ll also tell Evelyn about this. She has a bad temper, so I need her to pay attention to her behaviour.”
Meanwhile, in the Clark family. Helen didn’t have a good appetite, so she put down her chopsticks after eating half a bowl of rice.
Anna sat by the side and said when Helen put down her chopsticks, “Auntie, why aren’t you eating?”
“I’m full!”
Anna was a little worried. “You’re full after eating so little? Are you sick? I think you only ate a little at noon as well.”

Anna frowned as she watched Helen leave. “Is auntie thinking of Abbie again?”
The servant next to her nodded and said, “Yes, Madam has been getting thinner by the day after Abbie was gone. She doesn’t want to eat anything. Alas, what should I do?”
“She can’t go on like this because her body will collapse. I have to tell Richard and figure out a way to solve this with him.”
