Fandrey went straight to the maternity centre from the hospital when he learned that Wayne was fine. William, Deborah, and Valeria were all taking a walk in the sky garden with Cade and Santhos.
Fandrey went straight to the air garden and told William the story about Wayne vomiting blood.
There was contempt for Wayne in his words. “I always thought that Wayne was unlikeable, but I didn’t expect him to be so shameless!”
“He’s getting muddle-headed as he grows old! I guess he won’t be able to uphold his integrity!” William sighed.
“What do you mean by that? He’s simply greedy.” Deborah continued.
“That’s right. He’s just greedy!” Valeria didn’t sympathize with Wayne at all. “I thought he would be in critical condition, but I didn’t expect that he just got a heart attack. This is too easy on him!”
Fandrey smiled. “He looks pitiful now, but he has done plenty of vicious things before! Although he’s fine, he’ll be too ashamed to see me after this incident! I’m sure he’ll avoid me when he sees me in the future.”
“He is so shameless and vicious. A person like him would never have a guilty conscience!” Valeria felt that Wayne definitely wouldn’t change because he was so shameless and he would still act normally in the future.
She became angry when she thought of what had happened to Abbie. “We can’t let him off so easily. We have to make this matter known to the public so that his name will be totally destroyed.”
William cleared his throat and said, “Honey, that’s inappropriate!”
“What’s wrong with that? Since he dared to do it, he shouldn’t be afraid to let others know about it. I want the Davis family to be utterly humiliated in B City! I’m telling you, you’d better not intervene in this matter. I won’t let you off if you dare to step up for that disgusting jerk, Michael!”
William touched his nose and looked at Fandrey for help. Fandrey smiled and said, “Valeria, you’d better not get involved in this matter.”
“Why?”
“Richard has already known about this early on and he even asked Braelynn to inform us of Azalea’s identity. I think he’ll probably deal with the Davis family. Richard hates them to the core, so it’s natural for him to vent his anger on them.”
Valeria thought for a moment and felt that it made sense. “Alright, then I won’t do anything first. Let’s see what’s going on with Richard. I’ll carry out my plan if he doesn’t make any moves soon.”
Just as William smiled helplessly, Marcus and Andrew also arrived. Andrew immediately walked over to Santhos and Cade when he saw them. “I haven’t been here for a few days and I feel like they look different again. They’re getting even more good looking than before!”
Valeria couldn’t help laughing. “No.”
“They look so much better now! They’ll definitely have even more pursuers than William when they grow up.” Andrew said as he reached out to carry Cade. “Let me carry him!”
Santhos’ round eyes were wide open as he looked curiously at Andrew, who was hugging Cade. When Andrew saw Santhos staring at him, he stretched out his hand again and said, “I’ll carry him too, or he’ll keep looking at me like I’m being unfair.”
Marcus carried Santhos before Andrew could. “How can you get the best of both worlds? I want to hug him too!”
The two of them tried to decipher the identity of the two twins, who were in their arms. Marcus said that he was carrying Cade, but Andrew insisted that Marcus was wrong. They refused to admit defeat after arguing for a while and then made a bet for the loser to buy drinks at night.
In the end, Marcus lost when both of them looked at the name bracelets on Cade and Santhos.
Marcus patted his head in annoyance. “How did I lose?”
William stood aside and watched them bet. He shook his head and said, “Your memory has always been bad, so what should I say to you?”
“You should have reminded me just now, just a simple look is enough. After all, I am your assistant, so won’t you be embarrassed if I lose?”
Andrew snorted. “I’m his nephew. I’m much more important than an assistant like you! Isn’t that right, Uncle William?”
Marcus watched as he waited for William’s reply. He gave Marcus a sidelong glance and said, “Are you that bored? Get straight to the point and don’t talk nonsense with me.”
Only then did Marcus say, “Mr. Howard, Meadow almost sent Azalea to get an abortion.”
“That’s pretty quick.” William raised his eyebrows.
“That’s right, but Michael arrived with his men before she could get the surgery done. Azalea managed to escape and was brought back to the Davis family by Michael.”
“She’s really heartless!” Fandrey shook his head when he heard that and Deborah also frowned. “How did Meadow enter the Davis family? If it weren’t for her, things wouldn’t have become like this.”
Valeria was extremely angry when she heard this. Did Michael feel sorry for the child in Azalea’s belly? Did he ever think about Abbie, who was also pregnant with his child when she was killed by Azalea?
She was so angry that she couldn’t control herself and she scolded angrily, “That scumbag! If I ever meet that bastard, I’ll make sure I beat him to a pulp!”
William also felt that Michael’s behaviour was unbelievable. When he saw that Valeria was so angry that her face turned red, he reached out and held her in his arms to comfort her. “Honey, don’t be angry! Let Michael deal with his own affairs, don’t be rash.”
“Are you protecting Michael again? Don’t you know much of an asshole he is?”
“I’m not protecting him. Michael is a little crazy now, so you shouldn’t provoke him. He is a famous lawyer in the law circle and he’ll definitely sue you if you hit him. Things will be terrible by then!”
“If I can’t do it in the open, I’ll do it in secret. Anyway, I’m going to take revenge on Michael!”
Andrew and Marcus laughed when they heard what Valeria had said. Andrew felt that Michael had gone too far as well. “I support Aunt Valeria. If you want to fight, I will arrange a few men for you.”
“Don’t get involved!” William glared at Andrew and sighed. “All of you have misunderstood Michael. I don’t think he likes Azalea’s child at all, he’s doing this because he just wants to get even with Wayne and Meadow.”
“I think that’s the reason too! Wayne and Meadow will feel incredibly disgusted whenever they see Azalea’s child. If it were me, I would also feel the same.” Fandrey continued.
“He’d better marry Azalea, that disgusting bitch. The whole family will be filled with scumbags!” Valeria said.
“I’m pretty sure Azalea will marry Michael.” Marcus smiled and said.
“Richard has already spread the news that Azalea is pregnant with Michael’s child. He also exaggerated how much Meadow and Wayne like her. He said that they didn’t care about the family background, nor did they care about Azalea’s past and accepted her as the daughter-in-law of the Davis family. Everyone who knows about it is praising Wayne and Meadow now, so how can they explain it if they change their attitude towards Azalea? I don’t think they’ll be able to say anything at all.”
