Azalea’s question sounded like a joke in Meadow’s ears. However, Meadow still took a deep breath and suppressed her fury towards Azalea before she gave a vague answer.
“Yes, Wayne blamed me for not taking good care of you and scolded me. He even smashed his glass at me and forced me to come to visit you right away.”
Azalea asked curiously, “Why is that?”
“Of course, it’s because of the baby in your belly. He’s worried about you, so he wants to do a full-body examination on you to make sure that you and the baby are healthy. I said that we don’t have to be so careful and he directly threw his glass at me.”
“Was he really that fierce?” Azalea was skeptical.
“Yes, he has always had a bad temper. In addition to that, he wants to have grandchildren because he’s already old. You are pregnant with Michael’s child and he has always favoured Michael a lot. It’s only natural that he doesn’t want any accidents to happen. Azalea, let’s do the full-body examination immediately.”
Azalea did not doubt Meadow’s motive at all, so she nodded and agreed. “Okay, I’ll listen to you.”
A cold glint flashed across Meadow’s eyes and she immediately said, “Then let’s do it now since I’ve already arranged the doctors! Help Miss Clark up to do the examination immediately.”
The servants immediately helped Azalea sit in the wheelchair and they pushed her to the gynaecology department.
Azalea’s legs weren’t completely healed yet, so the servants helped her get on the operating table.
In order to prevent Azalea from struggling, they even tied her up firmly.
Just as Azalea was tied up as she lay on the operating table and looked at the ceiling, she finally felt that something was wrong.
What kind of examination required this?
Azalea did not suspect that Meadow wanted to get rid of the baby in her belly and she just felt that this examination was very uncomfortable. “Aunt Meadow, what check-up do I need to do?”
“A full-body examination!” Meadow replied vaguely. “Calm down. The doctor will come to examine you soon.”
Footsteps came from outside while they were talking and the doctor came in with something in his hand. He frowned slightly and waved at Meadow when he saw Azalea tied to the operating table. “Mrs. Davis, come with me!”
Meadow followed the doctor outside. He then lowered his voice and asked, “Mrs. Davis, are you sure that the pregnant woman has agreed to the operation?”
“Of course!” It was obvious that Meadow would not tell the doctor the truth.
“Okay, then ask her to sign this operation contract for me!” The doctor handed a copy of the document to Meadow.
“Does she still need to sign this?” Meadow did not take the document from the doctor. “I asked for your help because I wanted to get it done as soon as possible, so just take it as if you’re doing me a favour. Don’t worry, I’ll definitely reward you for your help.”
“Mrs. Davis, we are in a regular hospital now. It’s very easy for me to carry out such an operation, but I have to ask for the opinion of the pregnant woman. After all, I’ll be in trouble if she doesn’t agree to the operation. It’s not easy for me to do this and I can’t lose my job because of this.”
The doctor was so cautious that Meadow had no choice but to say, “I’ll sign it!”
“No, you’re completely unrelated to the pregnant woman, so your signature is invalid. You must make her sign it herself.”
“This is really troublesome!” Meadow muttered. She took the contract and entered the operating room. She brought it to Azalea and covered the parts that mentioned the abortion procedures, “The doctor said that the examination requires your signature and you can only do it after you sign this.”

“Yeah, there are many rules in the hospital now. You can sign it first.”
Meadow released Azalea’s right hand and handed her the pen over to sign the documents.
Azalea signed her name at the designated space without any doubt. Meadow heaved a sigh of relief after Azalea signed the papers and a smug smile appeared on her face.
“Well, the examination later will be a little painful. The doctor said that he would give you an injection first for you to fall asleep before he carries on with the check-up.”
Why would she need to sleep for a body examination? Azalea was stunned and looked at Meadow subconsciously. Just then, she happened to see the relieved smile on Meadow’s face.
Azalea suddenly had a bad idea when she saw Meadow’s expression. Then, she snatched the surgical agreement from Meadow’s hand and quickly looked at it. She almost jumped up when she saw that it was for an abortion.
Azalea only had one hand free because she was tied to the operating table. Even if she wasn’t restrained, she couldn’t do anything too violently with her injured foot.
She was at a loss as she looked at Meadow in utter horror. “Huh? Isn’t this an agreement to have an abortion? Why did you say that it was an examination?”
Meadow did not hide anything even when Azalea had read the agreement. “That’s right. You’re going to get an abortion! I asked you to come here to get rid of the baby in your belly!”
“Why? Why are you doing this? Don’t you want me to give birth to her? Why did you suddenly change your mind? What are you trying to do?”
Meadow’s expression was a little ferocious in the face of Azalea’s continuous questions. “You’ll have to ask yourself! I asked you to give birth because of your identity, but I found out that you’re nothing but a piece of trash. What right do you have to give birth to Michael’s child?”

“It’s illegal for you to do this!” Azalea was shocked and angry. “I’ll sue you if you dare to force me into getting an abortion!”
“You signed it yourself, so who are you going to sue?” Meadow picked up the operation agreement on the ground. “Besides, do you think anyone will pay attention to you with your current identity? Don’t flatter yourself!”
