Stanty rushed to the hospital after he received a call from the butler. Along the way, he called Meadow and Michael in a hurry as well.
Meadow had just walked out of the coffee shop where she met Emily and was about to get in the car. She was in complete shock when she received a call from Stanty.
Wayne must’ve vomited blood because he was shocked after he found out about Azalea’s real identity. Meadow’s heart was filled with extreme fear.
Wayne would not spare her this time, so what should she do?
Meadow was terrified to the extreme. She couldn’t help hoping that Wayne would die of a heart attack, so she wouldn’t have to worry about him punishing her in the future.
She even prayed that it would be best for her if Wayne passed away.
She immediately rushed to the hospital as she continued hoping in her heart and bumped into Michael in the parking lot.
Meadow ran quickly to Michael. “Do you know what’s going on with your grandfather now?”
Michael glanced at Meadow and sneered, “Are you very scared now?”
“I… what are you talking about?” Meadow was extremely guilty and tried her best to control herself.
“Stop pretending. I know you’re terrified right now! You’re the one who did all this.” Michael chuckled.
“You kept telling Grandpa that Azalea was the daughter of the Floyd family until he actually believed it. That’s why he did so many things. Now that you finally found out that she’s completely insignificant, what do you think of it? Will you still insist on my marriage with Azalea? Would you still treat Azalea so intimately?”
Michael’s question made Meadow blush. How could she treat Azalea well when she knew the truth now? She despised Azalea to the core.
But now was not the time for her to hate Azalea. What she should be most worried about was that she would be punished by Wayne.
Meadow begged Michael shamelessly, “Michael, I didn’t expect it to be like this and I was possessed at that time! I regret it very much! You… you will help me, won’t you?”

“I’ll help you if you can bring Abbie back from the dead. Can you do it?”
Meadow suddenly fell silent. Michael looked at her coldly as if he was looking at his enemy rather than his mother.
He asked Meadow word by word, “How dare you beg me?”
“Michael, I… I…”
Michael quickly interrupted Meadow. “Since you gave birth to me, it was written in my fate that I wouldn’t be able to do anything to you. Of course, I might have dealt with you if I were a heartless bastard, but I’m not. I’ve suffered a life that was worse than death after Abbie died and I hated that I was so weak. I should’ve been a heartless bastard to you, but it was unfortunate that I still had some sense in me. But your retribution is coming now and I don’t care if someone wants to deal with you. I’ll be very happy to see what they’ll do to you!”
Michael strode straight to the elevator after saying that while Meadow followed him with a pale face.
Wayne was pushed out when they arrived at the door of the emergency room.
Stanty asked the doctor about the situation. The doctor then said that there was nothing serious and Wayne vomited blood because he suffered a heavy emotional blow. Wayne was then asked to rest while he was placed under observation.
Stanty breathed a sigh of relief, but Meadow’s heart was cold. Since Wayne was fine, it meant that he would get even with her immediately. What should she do?
Meadow really wanted to disappear, but it was impossible and she followed Wayne to the ward timidly.
The nurse set up the IV drip and left soon after. Wayne, who had his eyes closed, woke up asked with gritted teeth, “Where is Meadow?”
Stanty jumped in fright. “Dad! What are you…”
“Where is Meadow? Ask her to get over here!” Wayne suddenly sat up.
He tugged at the needle and the butler hurried forward. “Please calm down, Sir. The needle is still in your hand!”
Wayne ignored the butler’s words and looked inside the room for Meadow.
Meadow knew that she couldn’t escape, so she braced herself and stepped forward. “Dad, I…”
“You are a jinx! Look at what you have done!” Wayne was furious. He grabbed the bottle on his bedside table and threw it at Meadow. She couldn’t dodge in time and a big bump appeared on her forehead.
The bottle was smashed to the ground and her legs bled profusely when the glass pieces were embedded in her legs.
Meadow did not dare to cry out in pain. When she saw Wayne glaring at her, her legs gave way and she knelt down. “Dad! I’m sorry, it’s all my fault!”
Stanty didn’t know why Wayne was so angry and he looked at the scene in front of him in surprise.
“What… what’s going on?”
No one paid attention to his words. Meadow knelt on the ground as she begged for mercy and Wayne was cursing angrily. Stanty couldn’t understand what both of them were talking about, so he could only look at Michael.
Michael was standing by the door with his hands clasped together as he looked at Wayne and Meadow expressionlessly.
Stanty lowered his voice. “Michael, why don’t you persuade your grandfather?”
Michael glanced at Stanty, but he didn’t move. Stanty could only go over and push him. “What’s wrong with you? Why are you just watching them? Your mother is injured and your grandfather is angry. You should persuade him!”
“What’s the point in doing that? Isn’t this entertaining? I haven’t seen such a good show for a long time, so why don’t we let them continue? It’ll be better if you can ask a group of people to come and watch such a lively show together!” Wayne looked over when he heard Michael’s words and his lips trembled. “You… you already knew it, didn’t you?”
