Azalea didn’t dare to call Callum because he had blocked her a long time ago and she would definitely not be able to get through. If she called him in front of so many people, she would be utterly humiliated if they know that she had been blacklisted.
Azalea was not an idiot and she could tell from Michael’s words that something was wrong. Was Michael doubting her relationship with the Floyd family?

Michael laughed again when he saw that Azalea didn’t say anything. “I can’t give you a dowry that would meet your requirements. Since I’ve been frank with you, do you still want to marry me?”
Azalea hesitated for a moment before nodding. “I do!”
“Well, we can take the next step since you’re willing. Let’s go and get our marriage certificate now.”
Azalea did not reply, but Meadow interrupted, “What are you doing? Why are you in a rush to get the certificate today? Azalea’s leg is injured and she still needs to recuperate.”
“Can’t you ask someone to push her to get the marriage certificate? Anyway, she just needs to take a photo and sign the documents. She doesn’t need to do anything else.”
“No, it’s too hasty!” Meadow shook her head. “Although we can’t give her 20 million dollars as a betrothal gift, we can’t let her suffer either. We have to discuss the wedding ceremony. It won’t be as grand as Valeria’s, but it still needs to be better than most of the rich families around. Dad, what do you think?”

The smile on Azalea’s face lit up when she received the money. Then. she and Meadow started discussing her marriage.
Michael put his hand in his pocket and walked to the car with a smile in the parking lot. Wayne couldn’t keep up with Michael at first, but he tried his best to catch up. “Michael, what did you mean when you asked Azalea to call Callum just now?”
“Grandpa, aren’t you smart enough to judge someone? How can you not understand what I mean?”
“Don’t keep me guessing and just tell me what you mean.” Wayne’s face became serious.
Michael whistled. “Get in the car first. I’ll tell you after you drink some water.”
He opened the car door as he spoke, so Wayne got in the car and sat down. “Go ahead.”
Michael was not in a hurry. Instead, he asked the driver with a smile, “Do you have the calming pills?”
“Sir, I’ve always prepared a bottle in the car.”
“That’s good!” Michael coughed dryly. “The reason why I asked Azalea to call the Floyd family is to prove one thing. I heard that Azalea isn’t related to the Floyd family at all.”
“What?” Wayne raised his voice. “Who told you that!?”
“I heard it from William.”
“Are you lying to me? You’re making this up, aren’t you?” Wayne didn’t believe it.
“If you don’t believe me, you can do whatever you want. Anyway, it doesn’t matter to me whether Azalea is related to the Floyd family or not. After all, she is pregnant with my child and I have to marry her no matter what.”
