Azalea was frightened by Braelynn’s fierce look. She then stopped pretending to be pitiful.
Deborah did not feel good when she saw Braelynn scolding Azalea. “Ms. Saunders, how are you so arrogant? You are judging Miss Clark so much, yet also creating problems here at Valeria’s. Are you not embarrassed?”
“No! I’m just helping my dear sister-in-law to kick out unwelcomed visitors, is there any problem with it?” Braelynn retorted.
“What right do you have to make the decision for Valeria? Did she say that she doesn’t like Miss Clark?” Deborah continued.
“There’s no need for her to say it out loud, as I know that Valeria doesn’t like a bitch like Azalea. We have mutual understanding on this.”
“How dare you!” Deborah was mad. It was not good for her image to be fighting with Braelynn, but she felt uncomfortable seeing how Braelynn was bullying Azalea.
The maid then came out and said, “Madam said Azalea has to get lost right this instant. She does not like having an animal in here!”
William and Valeria did not say a thing before, and it was Braelynn against Azalea alone. But now that Valeria had spoken up, Azalea naturally did not have the guts to do anything else. She gave Deborah a pitiful glance, hoping that Deborah would help her.
Deborah knew that the issue was not light the moment Valeria herself wanted Azalea to go away. Therefore, she would not go against Valeria and so she chose to shut up.
Braelynn sneered. “Shoo now! Or I’ll get someone to kick you out!”
Azalea stomped her feet and covered her face as she walked out. Braelynn then took Azalea’s flowers and gifts and threw them out.
Wayne watched all this with his jaw dropped, while Deborah became more unhappy when staring at Braelynn. William acted casual and said, “Sorry for the trouble. Valeria is in fact very upset because of Abbie, and Azalea is the culprit. It’s best if she gets out of here.”
This was to tell Wayne that Abbie was incomparable with Azalea when it came to Valeria and William. She was important to them. So, Wayne was speechless.
Deborah felt extremely uncomfortable. No matter what, Azalea was still a member of the Floyd family. How could Valeria and William embarrass Azalea this way?
Although she was angry with Azalea, when she thought of her helplessness, she was a little heartbroken for her. Then, Deborah followed her out.
Fandrey frowned and followed behind too. He stopped Deborah in the corridor. “Dear, what are you doing?”
“I’m going to see Azalea. She’s so wronged! I don’t even know what to say when Braelynn rebutted her and also when Valeria spoke up.”
“It’s none of your business. She has her own reasons for doing ti.”
“I know that Azalea is not a good person, but no matter what, she’s…”
“Excuse me?” Fandrey interrupted Deborah. “Don’t worry about this anymore and get back inside. I’ll tell you the reason when we get back.”
“What reason, huh? Wasn’t it because of Abbie that Valeria blamed Azalea? Just now, Braelynn also said that there was no evidence to prove that Abbie’s accident was caused by Azalea! Since that is the case, what is there to talk about anymore? She couldn’t accuse others just because she was suspicious, could she? What the hell is going on now?”
Deborah was very angry and voiced out her thoughts.
Fandrey’s face turned gloomy as he said, “Go back now! Are you gonna disobey me?”
“Did you just yell at me?” Deborah saw that Fandrey raised his voice at her and she could not help but feel wronged. She pushed him away and left.
Fandrey then shouted from the back, “If you leave now, don’t blame me for not being nice to you!”
“What?” Hearing his cold tone, Deborah stopped and turned to look at him.
Fandrey’s face darkened and he didn’t even smile as he spoke. “If you leave, I’ll send you back abroad!”
“How dare you!” Deborah was in disbelief.
“Why not? Leaving now would mean embarrassing Valeria, then you wouldn’t be able to bond with William and her anymore. So, why are you still here then? Fly back!”
Upon hearing his words, Deborah knew that it was the truth and turned away. “I can’t embarrass Valeria, but Braelynn was being too much. I can’t just allow her to insult Azalea now, or she’d be insulting me the next time.”
“Let’s talk about Braelynn when we get back. Now go back with a smile and act as if nothing has happened. Don’t be mad at Braelynn anymore!”
Fandrey rarely got angry, but this time, he was definitely mad. Deborah was frightened a little and followed him back obediently.
In the room, William said to Wayne with a serious face, “My wife’s mood is not very stable. She is as close as a sister with Abbie and she has been very sad after knowing that something happened to her. It is said that Azalea caused Abbie’s accident so it’s normal that my wife doesn’t like Azalea. Please don’t blame her for that, Mr. Davis.”
Wayne couldn’t do anything when he saw that everyone here did not welcome Azalea. He felt extremely awkward. Braelynn had been arguing with Azalea the whole way through yet Fandrey did not step in. William did not try to defend Azalea as well.
After Valeria made her wish clear, Azalea became the target of public criticism. Fortunately, Deborah helped Azalea. Seeing that Deborah went out and was followed by Fandrey, Wayne felt much better.
It didn’t matter if Valeria didn’t like Azalea, as long as the Floyd family cared about her, then everything was fine.
As he thought about this, Fandrey and Deborah returned together.
Wayne looked behind them and did not see Azalea.
Didn’t both of them go out to chase after Azalea?
Wayne cursed to himself. So it seemed that no one cared about Azalea being driven away. No one took Azalea seriously too. Wayne found that he had made a mistake by bringing Azalea here today.
Could it be that Fandrey had seen through his thoughts and deliberately treated Azalea like this?
That was embarrassing. Azalea was brought here by him, and he couldn’t leave her alone. Wayne stood up and said, “William, I have something to do and gotta leave for now.”
“Okay! I’ll see you off!” William politely sent Wayne out of the door. After sending him off, William went back to the room.
Fandrey and Deborah sat silently on the sofa in the room outside. Braelynn and the maid were in the room to take care of Cade and Santhos.
Seeing the expression on Deborah’s face, William knew that she was still angry at Braelynn for Azalea.
If Deborah knew that Braelynn was her biological granddaughter, would she still be mad?
William smiled and said, “Grandpa, you and grandma should go back first. Do explain everything to grandma.”
