Josephine told Azalea everything about her text messages with Abbie. Azalea praised her. “Well done! In this case, you will soon get a million dollars.”
“Is Miss Clark really okay? I’m worried that Abbie will tell Michael about this. I’ll be finished if that happens!”

Emily ordered some tea. Callum, who was sitting opposite her, stared at her with an intense gaze that made her feel a little restless. She avoided Callum’s eyes and asked, “Why did you call me here?”
“I have something important to tell you about Azalea.”
Emily sighed when Callum mentioned Azalea, “I also have to tell you something about her as well.”
Callum nodded. “Go ahead!”
“Azalea was humiliated by a bodyguard when she went to your family’s mansion yesterday and she kept asking me to stand up for her. I know that the bodyguard was just doing his job and he didn’t do anything wrong, but she kept pestering me. Maybe it’s because of her relationship with Madelyn, who had spoiled her. Her character and temper can’t be changed. Even though I know that she’s not a good person, I still can’t ignore her. Anyway, she is our daughter, so please help her if you can.”
Callum sighed. “I understand what you mean, but Azalea’s situation is very special. It’s not that I don’t want to help her, it’s because I can’t and the reason is…”
Callum was very glad to know that Azalea was not his daughter, but he was worried about Emily. He had no feelings for Azalea and he had accepted her for Emily’s sake, but Emily was in a completely different situation.
