After sending out the message, Veronica felt that she had vented half of her anger. When Henry saw the message, he would surely examine the cooperation with Ornard. He would definitely see through Ornard and Paisley’s scheme to push the responsibility to Acma Corporation.
As long as Henry could see through their plot, he would not be fooled. Ornard was someone who stressed practicality. If he wasn’t able to make use of Paisley, he would not marry her.
With such, Ornard would return to her. Veronica felt much at eased thinking about this.
She let out a murky breath and started the car. Not long after she drove out, Angel called her.
“Mom, are you asleep?”
“No, I went to see your uncle. What’s up?”
“I have something to tell you, but I’m not sure how true it is. I heard that my uncle and Paisley are married? Do you know about this?”
Hearing this, Veronica stepped on the brakes. “Who told you that?”
“I heard that Paisley is Mrs. Laban now. Mom, is this true? I don’t want to see that bitch becoming my aunt. Mom, you have to find a way.”
