Madelyn was stunned when she saw Emily’s reply, so she immediately replied, “Emily, she is still your daughter. You can’t just ignore her like this. She doesn’t want to go back, can’t you help her if she wants to stay here?”
“I can’t help anyone! She has nothing to do with me since the Floyd family took her away. She is an heiress and I am an ordinary person. I will no longer have any connection with her. Also, I’m warning you to give up on your schemes, or I’ll let the Floyd family know what crimes you’ve committed. You’ll end up miserable once they know that you have evil intentions!”
Madelyn still tried to plead, but Emily directly blocked her.
Madelyn didn’t know how to tell Angel the truth, so she tried to hide it. “My sister should be resting now. I will ask her personally tomorrow.”
Angel was not so easily fooled, so she grabbed Madelyn’s mobile phone and read Emily’s message directly.
Angel was extremely upset after she read it and she gnashed her teeth in fury as she vented her anger.
“How could she do this to me? How?”
“That… Angel, you…”
“Get lost! Get out of here!” Angel stared at Madelyn with a furious gaze.
“Calm down and listen to me. My sister may have encountered something bad today, and she isn’t in a good mood, so…”
“Shut up! Do you think I’m a fool? Let me ask you, why did you come to our house to be a servant?”
“I’m here to take care of you…”
“Why? Why do you think I need someone like you to take care of me?”
Madelyn was still trying to defend herself. “My sister made me…”

Did you use all means to come here so you can try to hook up with my dad?”
Angel was about to have a mental breakdown when she realized that Madelyn was not sent by Emily to take care of her. Besides, Emily had no affection for her at all.
Madelyn immediately denied it. “No! I’ve never thought of that before. I came to the Floyd family as a servant just to take care of you. Why can’t you believe me?”
“Why should you take care of me? Do you know how to cook delicious food or do the housework well? Your cooking f*cking sucks and you look like a country bumpkin. You’re not pleasing to the eyes at all, so how can you be a servant in our house? Do you think our servants are as dirty as you?”
Madelyn was insulted by Angel’s words, which felt arrows stabbing into her heart. She had been longing to see her biological daughter for so long. She fantasized about living a luxurious life with Angel, but she didn’t expect that Angel had been looking down at her all along.
How could Angel give her the lucurious life that she wanted?
Madelyn’s eyes were bloodshot and she endured the heartache. “Angel, it’s true that my sister did not ask me to take care of you. It’s my fault, but I really came here to look after you and I have no other purpose.”
“She doesn’t even care about me, so why should I believe the words of an outsider like you?”
“I just think that my sister is too cruel. You are so pitiful and I just wanted to treat you well…”
“Huh? Why am I pitiful? Damn, I’m the heiress of the Floyd family, so why would I need someone like you by my side?”
“Alright, I’ve said the wrong thing, but I care for you a lot! My sister has been very sad for a long time after you were taken away by the Floyd family. Azalea is about the same age as you, so Emily gave all of her love to Azalea. She treats Azalea, just like her biological daughter. I was very touched, but I felt that it was too unfair for you. So, I came to the Floyd family to purely take care of you and make up for your mother’s mistakes.”
“How can you be so disgusting? Do you deserve to do that? Would you be nice to me if I were not the daughter of the Floyd family? Haha! You’re just after the money, so why do you have to act so noble?”
Angel was disgusted by Madelyn’s words. “Get out of here! Don’t come close to me ever again in the future. You’d better pack up immediately and get out of the Floyd family!”
Madelyn left gloomily, but Angel did not completely vent her anger.
How could Emily be so heartless to her?! This was unacceptable!
Her intuition was right that Emily didn’t like her. From the moment they met, Angel could feel a sense of alienation and indifference of Emily. However, she always thought that Emily was playing hard to get.
When she saw Madelyn coming to the Floyd family as a servant, she thought that Emily had arranged for Madelyn to take care of her. However, she realized that she had been overthinking after she saw Emily’s message to Madelyn.
Emily would not answer Madelyn like that if she really cared about Angel.
Madelyn said that Emily had given all of her love to Azalea and treated Azalea as if she was her own daughter.

Angel was selfish and vicious. Since Emily was so ruthless, she should not blame Angel for doing the same.

Lucian stayed in ICU for another day before she went to the general ward for treatment.
Braelynn did not go to the company at all and accompanied Lucian in the hospital.
After all, Natalie and Lucian had been partners for many years. Although Lucian wasn’t a good person, Natalie didn’t hold grudges and brought gifts o the hospital when she visited Lucian.
