William agreed and grabbed his phone to call Fandrey. “Grandpa, did Angel complain to you?”
“No, but she complained to Callum and she wanted him to stand up for her. Callum is not foolish at all, so how could she deceive him? He just answered her nonchalantly and told me about it.”
Fandrey didn’t plan on standing up for Angel at all, so William was relieved and said, “Tell Grandma about it. She’s very close with Valeria now, so she’ll definitely feel uncomfortable if she knows about this.”
“Don’t worry, I’ll tell your grandma. I told your grandma about what Angel did in the past, in case she still has delusions about Angel.”
Fandrey hated Angel to the extreme because she betrayed him and colluded with Ornard to frame the Floyd family. William understood Fandrey’s feelings, so he hung up after a few words.
Fandrey stood up and left the study to look for Deborah, who was watching variety shows in the living room. Fandrey walked over to her side and sat down, “How can you watch this every day? Is it that entertaining?”
“I only watch these shows when I have nothing to do? I can help Valeria take care of her children when she gives birth, and I won’t have time to watch these variety shows by then.”

“Come on! I have something to say to you. Angel and Valeria had a conflict today.”

Fandrey and Deborah were talking in the living room while Madelyn’s heart felt uncomfortable as she stood outside. She seemed to have heard Fandrey and Deborah talking about Angel, but she couldn’t hear clearly what they were saying.
Madelyn turned her head and looked around, but she did not see anyone else around. She stealthily approached the room as she wanted to eavesdrop on the conversation between Fandrey and Deborah. She vaguely heard that Angel and Valeria had a conflict, which made the old couple upset.

Madelyn was anxious while Sammuel looked at her coldly and said, “They will call upon you if they want to drink tea. You can leave!”
Madelyn left submissively and went to a quiet corner to wipe the sweat off her forehead. Would she be accused of eavesdropping just now?
What if Fandrey and Deborah detested her for that and chased her away?
Sammuel entered the living room and greeted Fandrey and Deborah. After that, Fandrey motioned for him to sit down. “What happened just now?”
“Madelyn stood at the door furtively as if she wanted to eavesdrop, so I told her off.”
“She doesn’t follow the rules at all!” Deborah became unhappy when she heard this. “Ask someone to warn her that she must obey the rules of the Floyd family. If such a thing happens again in the future, fire her immediately!”
“Okay, I’ll tell them,” Sammuel agreed.
Fandrey was much calmer compared to Deborah. He patted her shoulder and said, “Alright, don’t be angry. Is there a need to be angry with a servant?”
Then, he got up and gestured to Sammuel, “Follow me!”
Sammuel followed Fandrey to the study soon after that. After they sat down, Fandrey asked, “What’s going on with Ornard?”
“Our men went to the hospital to see him. He pretended to faint in order to deal with us and he even used an oxygen mask. Veronica also stayed in the hospital all the time.”
“Ha-ha! Has the statement about the Laban family been released? Is the stock market going back to normal?”
“Yes, everything regarding Ornard has been clarified. I followed your orders and spread the news that Ornard might die of a serious injury. Due to this, the stock price of the Laban family didn’t rise and continued to decline, but they just did a little better than yesterday.”
“Ornard is done for this time and Paisley will be dealt with soon. I don’t think he can afford to bear the consequences!” Fandrey touched his beard and laughed a few times. “I asked you to keep an eye on Madelyn last time. Did you find anything wrong with her?”
