Callum said angrily while he grabbed the phone on the table and called Richard, but he hung up when no one answered. “I can’t get to Richard! I’ll meet him tonight and he must give me an explanation for this!”
It didn’t take much effort to persuade Callum to come forward. Angel was secretly happy, but she also knew that Abbie was untouchable in the Clark family. Even if Callum went to find Richard, it was hard to say whether Richard would deal with Abbie or not.
This matter could not be solved just by looking for Richard, so she had to force Abbie to apologize to Azalea. Wasn’t Abbie an arrogant person? She would rather die than apologise to Azalea.
Angel thought about it and immediately said, “Dad, Abbie is so arrogant. I don’t think Richard will do anything to her even if you meet him.”
“You’re right. Abbie can do whatever she want because her family is backing her up. Richard will just argue with me if I meet him and he may not do anything to Abbie. In your opinion, what should we do about this matter?”
“I think you should ask Abbie to apologize to Azalea. You can’t be nonchalant towards this.”
“Okay, I’ll talk to Richard tonight.” Callum was so easy to convince and he didn’t deny Angel at all.
Angel didn’t have to use any of the excuses that she prepared. The reason why she came to find Callum was that she wanted him to deal with Abbie. She also wanted Callum to speak for her in front of Fandrey because she didn’t want to go to America to see Ornard. She wanted to stay in the country.
Angel immediately began to wipe her tears again when she thought of this. “Dad, have you heard about what happened to my uncle?”
“Hm?”
“Grandpa asked me to go back to the States to see him, but I don’t want to.”
“Why? Aren’t you close to Ornard? Isn’t it right for you to visit him when he’s in trouble?” Callum said in a cold tone.
“I’ve called and asked about it. It’s not life-threatening. Mom told me not to go back, and she said that I can’t change anything even if I’m there. I have to stay here to cultivate my feelings with Mom since she just met me. If she knew that I went back to see Ornard, what would she think?”
This made Callum frown. “Is that so? I’ll try to persuade your grandfather!”
“Dad, don’t do that. You must persuade him to take back his order. I really don’t want to be separated from Mom anymore. She has been alone for so many years and I have done nothing for her. I have to stay and take care of her so that she will not suffer so much in the future.”
Angel’s words were reasonable, so Callum said, “Okay, I’ll know what to do. Do you have anything else you want?”
“No, but don’t tell Mom what I said to you. She just told me to keep this from you because she was afraid of causing trouble for you. I don’t want her to know that I broke my promise.”
“I know! I won’t tell her.” When Callum saw Angel leave, he shook his head and picked up the phone to delete the number he had just dialed. The number was not Richard’s at all.
Ever since Fandrey told him that Angel, Ornard, and Veronica were plotting against the Floyd family, he no longer believed in Angel’s words.
Angel wanted to use Emily to gain his trust and she spent a lot of effort to deceive him. It was too ridiculous.
But Callum had his own plans now and he didn’t want Angel to go back to the States now.
Callum called Fandrey, “Dad, are you really going to let Angel visit Ornard?”
“Yes! Since she’s angry with Ornard and Veronica, I’ll send her back to live with them.”
“She just came to me and she told me that she doesn’t want to go back. She asked me to persuade you.”
“Haha!” Fandrey sneered, “So what do you mean by calling me? Do you want to keep her here?”
“She has nothing to do with Ornard and Veronica anyway, and they’ve been using her for a long time. If we send her back to be with them, something bad will happen sooner or later. After all, Emily and I are still her parents. I don’t want to see her going astray. I will discipline her well with Emily and let her return to the right path.”
“Okay! You can let her stay here if you’re willing to do that. She’s your child, so I won’t care about her too much. It’s good if you can guide her to the right path, but a leopard will never change its spots. You’d better be careful.”
“Don’t worry, I won’t be used by her.” Callum promised.
Angel went back to her office in a good mood after she complained to her father. Abbie was going to be in deep trouble, but she still had to deal with Valeria. Compared with Abbie, Valeria was the main reason why Angel was embarrassed today.
She wouldn’t be satisfied if she didn’t deal with Valeria. However, Valeria was pregnant now, so both the Howards and Floyds would not say anything bad about her.
It was certainly not easy for Angel to deal with Valeria, and it was not convenient for her to handle Emily as well.
However, there was no way she could let Valeria go after she was wronged like this!
She must find a way to deal with Valeria and vent all the anger she had suffered during this period of time.
The only reason why Valeria could survive was because of the children in her belly. Could she still be so arrogant if she wasn’t pregnant?
But she had no chance to cause Valeria to have a miscarriage.
Furthermore, she could not harm Valeria’s children so openly. If something happened to the children, William would be the first to kill her.
Therefore, Angel had to stay in the shadows and use someone else to deal with Valeria.
Angel thought about it for a long time and suddenly thought that Deborah would always give Valeria food.
She had an idea.
Wouldn’t it be interesting if she could put some drugs in the food that Deborah would give to Valeria?
Even if Valeria didn’t die, she would at least be in critical condition.
It was best to kill the child in Valeria’s belly and she would have nothing in the end!
