Angel was so upset last night that she couldn’t sleep until it was morning.
She didn’t wake up until noon and her stomach was growling, so she quickly washed up and went downstairs. When the maid saw Angel come down, she came up and said, “Miss, you are awake and your lunch is ready. Do you want to eat it now?”
“Mm.” Angel nodded and entered the dining room while the servants immediately prepared lunch for her. Angel felt strange when she didn’t see Deborah. “Where’s my grandmother?”
The maid answered immediately, “Madam went out just now.”
“Do you know where she went?”

“I heard that Madam went out to deliver fruit to Mrs. Howard.” Madelyn emerged from the kitchen carrying a bowl of soup with a smile on her face. “Miss, have some soup!”
Angel was in a bad mood when she heard that Deborah had sent food to Valeria. She snorted from her nose. “Put it there!”
“I cooked this especially for you. Do you want to have a try, Miss?”
Madelyn’s attitude was too good to be true. When Angel looked at Madelyn, she saw that Madelyn had a sincere and ingratiating smile on her face. There was not a trace of dissatisfaction in her expression at all.

Angel immediately went back to her room and called Ornard, whose voice was as gentle as usual. “Angel, is there anything I can do for you?”
