Angel began to complain about Paisley and she cursed, “Paisley has a bad reputation and has an embarrassing attitude. She even wore the same outfit as me during the bidding ceremony. That bitch must be the one who caused me to have an unlucky day.”
Ornard awkwardly took his phone and walked away upon hearing Angel’s whining. Paisley vaguely heard her complaints as well. She was very sure that Angel was scolding her upon seeing Ornard walking away with the phone.
Paisley was utterly furious upon hearing about it. She then began to browse the news with her mobile phone to avoid showing her anger under the presence of Ornard.
Ornard changed the subject to the Floyd family after hearing Angel’s grumble for a while, “Angel, your father alongside your grandfather did not blame you for failing the bidding activity today, did they?”
“What do you think? I was given an earful and my grandfather was so mad that he had broken his cup. My father was also very upset about it,” Angel began to spew nonsense.
Ornard was overjoyed upon hearing that both Fandrey and Callum were pissed off. Hahaha! They did not expect such a thing to happen at all, didn’t they? It would be best if their health condition went downhill due to being so mad at this matter.
It was inappropriate to share his thoughts out. He then pretentiously comfort Angel, “They scolded you because they were in a bad mood. It would be best for you to not take it to heart.”
“How is that possible? Would you have said the same thing if you were in my shoes?” Angel had a plan in mind for bringing this topic up to Ornard. She kept making a fuss about it and gradually shifted the conversation to Braelynn.
“Ornard, I was not only scolded today but was also being plotted against. I was so embarrassed about it and I have to seek revenge. You need to lend me a helping hand regarding this matter!”
“Who had schemed against you?”
“It was Braelynn who had tried to frame me! We do not get along with each other. I would have an unlucky encounter whenever she is present! Ornard, I should tell you that Braelynn and Richard are currently seeing each other. I saw both of them hanging out in a private room today. I then tried to eavesdrop as I desperately wanted to know what they were talking about. I did not expect her to be so evil-hearted as she intentionally opened the door and I fell down. My forehead was injured and my face was almost being ruined as well!”
Ornard nodded along upon hearing her side of the story. Braelynn and Richard were actually a couple all this while? It seemed that his plan of Angel and Richard being together would go south judging by the current situation.
Angel made a request in an upset tone, “Ornard, you have to help me in teaching Braelynn a lesson. We have failed to get rid of her last time and I cannot let her off the hook this round. I want you to instruct your men to give her a violent beating. Her legs must be severely injured and her face must be ruined.”
Ornard did not think that Angel had gone overboard despite her vicious plan to harm Braelynn. He felt that this was a good idea instead and said, “Let me have a think about this for now.”
“What is the point of that? We need to strike when the iron is still hot. The plan would not work if we dwell into this for too long!”
Paisley sat on the sofa and was using her mobile phone with anger in her heart.
What right does Angel, that bitch had to be so bold in not taking her seriously? Angel even scolded and cursed her. Did she assume that Paisley was already dead and could not fight back?
Ornard must be planning to take advantage of Angel in achieving his goal by being so patient towards her. On the other hand, there was no incentive for Paisley to be so forgiving towards her. Angel had to pay the price for cursing her out.
Paisley needed to come up with a way to teach her a lesson. She thought about it while her fingers were busy scrolling her mobile phone. She suddenly came across a viral video that was being suggested in her news feed. It was seen that a woman had sneakily hidden at the door of a private room. She tried to eavesdrop but eventually fell to the ground awkwardly. Why did that woman look so similar to Angel?
Paisley clicked on the video and almost burst into laughter. That woman in the video was indeed Angel, right?
Angel was the daughter of the Floyd family after all. Why would she secretly make her way to the door of a private room to listen in and eventually get caught red-handed?
No one else was seen in the entire video apart from Angel and Paisley was extremely curious about this matter. She was already prepared to criticize Angel and got up from her seat. She walked towards Ornard, who was on the phone, and said, “Take a look at this!”
Angel heard the voice of the woman who was speaking to Ornard. Why was that voice so similar to Paisley’s?
Angel immediately asked, “Ornard, who are you currently with?”
“No one else. I am just hanging out with a friend!” Ornard was a little upset at Paisley for approaching him. However, he suddenly had a stern look on his face after watching the video.
This footage was clearly embarrassing. What was going on? Ornard swiftly said, “Angel, someone had secretly captured the video of you eavesdropping on others!”
“What are you talking about? Who had recorded my actions?” Angel did not come to her sense for a moment.
“I just saw a video of you trying to listen in on others outside of the private room. You then fell miserably on the ground. Was this the one that you just told me about being schemed by Braelynn?”
Angel almost sprung up from her seat upon hearing his words. “How can there be any footage of it? Ornard, have you got mistaken?”
“When did I ever lie to you? Do give me a second and I shall send you the link.”
“Damn it! I shall have a look at it right now!” Angel hurriedly hung up the phone. Ornard gave her the link to the video and she clicked on it to watch the footage of her making a fool out of herself. Angel was boiling with rage.
How did the video manage to spread online? Who was the one behind it?
Could it be Richard? Why would he do such a thing when he had no beef with Angel?
Braelynn was the only suspect left. It must be her!
Braelynn was so bold in seducing the man that Angel had her eyes on. She was now much worse in trying to frame Angel! Braelynn! I shall officially be declaring war with you!
Angel desperately wanted to bite Braelynn a few times to vent her anger out. However, she knew that this was not the time to throw a tantrum. It was absolutely humiliating at the sight of her eavesdropping on others by the door. Callum and Fandrey would definitely give her an earful if they managed to see the video.
Angel needed to think of a way to avoid the video from being viral further.
She swiftly gave Ornard a call and said, “Ornard, you need to assist me in deleting the footage. We cannot let my dad and my grandpa watch the video. I will be dead meat should they get their hands on it!”
Ornard promised and said, “Don’t worry, I will definitely lend you a helping hand!”
Angel felt reassured when he agreed to settle this mess. She did not forget to mention Braelynn in a hatred tone, “Ornard, you also need to help me in getting rid of Braelynn, that bitch. I genuinely want to send her to hell right now!”
“I suggest asking your grandfather and your father to help you out in teaching Braelynn a lesson,” Ornard proposed.
“Are you trying to be funny by expecting the both of them to get rid of her?” Angel was well aware of the personalities of Fandrey and Callum.
“How could Braelynn be so arrogant if they were on my side from the very beginning? Fandrey and Callum did not help me out when she hit me in the past. It would be foolish of me to expect their help this time. They would be the first to scold me if they watch the video of me listening in to others.”
“That was because you were being impolite and your weakness had been taken advantage of. Your grandfather and father have high egos. They let Braelynn off the hook last time for the sake of William but things are now different. We need to use a different way to get rid of her this time.”
“How should we go about it then?” Angel asked.
“You are attracted towards Richard, aren’t you? We shall strike from Richard’s side and this video would be the perfect tool to achieve our objective. I already have things planned perfectly for you. I will soon instruct someone to cut out your eavesdropping behavior and then post the edited version online in a low-profile manner. You shall get ahold of your grandmother and cry your lungs out while telling her that Braelynn has been employing haters to badmouth you. You can also bring up the topic of you being fond of Richard to your grandmother and let her decide the next move.”
