Angel quickly rushed home from the company when she heard that Fandrey was back. When she entered the door, she rushed to the living room and said, “Grandma, I missed you so much!”
“I missed you too. Take a look at what I brought back for you.” Deborah opened the suitcase and showed Angel the special products she brought back from Arcadia.
Angel was not interested in these things, but she still pretended to express her love and gratitude.
She was puzzled when she didn’t see Fandrey and Callum. “Grandma, where are Dad and Grandpa?”
“Your grandfather is in the study room. Your father hurried out as soon as he arrived, but I don’t know where he went.”
“Did all the wedding guests come back together?” Angel asked curiously.
“No. We used our private jet. There were too many people and even the three private jets can’t accommodate everyone. The young people all took a flight.”
“Really? Who took a flight? Did Thomas also take a flight?” Angel asked.
“Yes, Thomas, Raymond, Richard, Abbie, and others took private planes. Only Andrew and Marcus came back with Howard family’s private plane.”
Angel knew what to do after she heard this. Since Michael came back by flight, she had to ask Azalea to go to the airport to instigate rumours with Abbie.
Angel immediately inquired about the time when Michael and others would arrive. It would be eight o’clock at night, so there was still time to prepare.
She called Azalea. “Take your assistant to the airport right now.”
“What for? Do I have to go on a business trip? But I still have a program to film tomorrow.” Azalea was completely confused.
Angel was a little impatient, “I won’t delay your filming. Just go to the airport quickly and leave right away! I will make some arrangements and call you then.”
Azalea did not dare disobey Angel’s orders and immediately rushed to the airport with her assistant.
She couldn’t figure out why Angel asked her to do this along the way. Azalea had always been on guard against Angel. Since she was worried that Angel would do something bad to her, she immediately sent Meadow a message.
“Meadow, Angel asked me to take my assistant to the airport, but she didn’t tell me the reason. What on earth does she want to do? She won’t hurt me, will she?”
Meadow replied, “She won’t openly do something so stupid.”
“I’m still a little worried. She’s crazy enough to scheme against Valeria. It’s too easy for her to deal with me! Meadow, you have to be on call at all times. If I encounter danger, I will ask you for help immediately.”
Meadow scoffed at Azalea’s cowardice. She was so petty that it gave Meadow a headache. Meadow simply replied a single word impatiently.
The sound of a car came from outside and a servant was shouting downstairs, “Madam, Sir is back!”
When Meadow heard that Wayne was back, she hurried downstairs to welcome him.
Wayne had already gotten out of the car when she went out and he was followed by the bodyguards who were moving things. Meadow greeted him with a smile. “Dad, you’re back! The journey has been hard on you!”
“Mm!” Wayne’s attitude towards Meadow was cold as he snorted.
Meadow did not care about his indifference. She looked behind Wayne and did not see Michael, so she immediately asked, “Dad, did you come back alone? Where is Michael?”
Of course, Wayne would not answer her and the bodyguard continued, “He hasn’t arrived yet because he took a different flight. We took a private plane. He’s on the same flight as Richard, so he’ll arrive at eight o’clock at night.”
“I see.” When Meadow heard the bodyguard’s words, she immediately thought of why Angel had asked Azalea to go to the airport.
Did Angel know that Michael came back by plane? Did she ask Azalea to go to the airport to stir up rumours?
She thought about making tea for Wayne and took some time to send Azalea a message. “The guests who attended William and Valeria’s wedding came back today. Wayne and the others took a private plane, but there were too many people and they couldn’t fit everyone. The flight that Michael and Richard took is arriving later. Did Angel ask you to create rumours with Michael at the airport?”
“Really? If so, that would be great!”
Azalea had been worried that Angel would want to cause trouble for her, but she became excited after seeing Meadow’s message. She immediately took out her mirror and began to make up.
As soon as she put on a bit of face powder, Angel called her again. “You have a good relationship with Michael’s mom, don’t you?”
“What’s wrong?”
“When Michael comes back today, I thought about asking you to create a scandal by picking up Michael. We also need his mother’s help. Ask her to arrange a person to pick Michael up. Then, we will wait for him at the airport.”
Azalea agreed. “No problem, I’ll tell Aunt Meadow right away.”
“There is one more thing. Let’s put on a complete act. Do you have an anonymous account on your Instagram? I want you to make a post immediately afterwards. You have to make it seem as though you’re picking up your lover. When the time comes, let someone find your anonymous account and let everyone think that you have a private relationship with Michael. Then the scandal will be more exciting!”
Angel was indeed much better than her. Azalea felt relieved when Angel set up the entire plan. She hung up the phone and sent a message to Meadow, asking her to arrange for someone to pick up Michael.
At eight o’clock at night, the plane landed at the airport and Michael got off the plane with his friends.
The people arranged by the Floyd, Clark, and Saunders family had already been waiting outside. Richard took Abbie away while Braelynn was taken away by Raymond, and the Floyd family also arranged for someone to pick Thomas up. Michael looked at Abbie’s back with his hands in his pocket.
He couldn’t do much with Richard around, so he couldn’t talk to Abbie and Abbie at all. This worsened his mood even more.
Raymond realized something was wrong when he saw Michael’s expression, so he took the initiative to ask when he left with the driver, “Do you want me to give you a ride?”
“No! I’ll go myself!” He refused directly, so Raymond didn’t force him and left with the driver.
Michael stood irritably and took out his mobile phone to send a message to Abbie. “I’ll meet you tonight.”
Abbie didn’t reply, which made him even more agitated.
He heard a voice beside him, “Sir!”
He put away the phone and frowned at the driver of the Davis family. “Who asked you to come?”
“Madam asked me to pick you up. Sir, let’s go.”
The driver took Michael’s luggage and walked out. When Michael saw this, he frowned and followed behind the driver.
When they were about to reach the door, Azalea’s assistant suddenly appeared with a look of anxiety on her face. “Michael… Michael, can you help Azalea? She just fainted because her blood pressure is low. She’s in the lounge now.”
