At one o’clock in the morning, Valeria was already in deep sleep as William opened the door with the room card.
Hearing him come in, the aunt who was taking care of Valeria woke up and immediately got up to check. When she saw that it was William, she said in shock, “Mr. Howard…”
“Shh!” William gestured for her to keep quiet, “It’s getting late. You can go and rest first. Leave Valeria to me.”
After the auntie went back to her room, he gently pushed open the door and walked to the side of the bed. Valeria was lying on her side and sleeping soundly.
He wanted to kiss her, but he was afraid of waking her up, so he moved around quietly. After he took a shower, he gently climbed into bed and held Valeria in his arms.
She was shopping downtown the whole day, so she was extremely tired and completely oblivious to the fact that someone else had joined her in bed.
As William held her in his arms, she felt something, but she was too sleepy and thought that she was dreaming, so she snuggled into his embrace and continued sleeping.
In the morning, she woke up to William pinching her nose. Hearing his voice, she was bewildered and thought that she was hearing things. Then, she opened her eyes and realized that he was actually there. She squealed in joy and reached out to wrap her arms around his neck, “Hubby, when did you come?”
“Last night. When I arrived, someone was sleeping soundly like a pig.”
Valeria was a little embarrassed, “No wonder it smelled like you last night. Why didn’t you tell me that you were coming over?”
“I wanted to surprise you.” He answered with a smile.
“Were you surprised just now?”
“Yes! My dear, you can spend time with me today, right? Where do you want to go?”
“Aren’t you tired after yesterday’s shopping?” He asked.
“I’m fine. I’m a little tired, but I replenished almost all my energy after last night’s sleep. Plus, my tiredness went away when I saw you. I’m full of energy now.”
“I’m scared of you! Fine, I’ll go out with you today! But only today.”
“Why? Aren’t there three more days till our wedding?”
“We’re leaving to Neuschwanstein Castle tomorrow. Although there are three more days, you have to conserve your energy. After all, weddings are very tiring.”
“Alright then, I’ll have a good rest tomorrow and the day after I have fun today. But hubby, after the wedding, I want you to spend more time with me here for a few days.”
“Of course, that’s not a problem. I owe you it to you. When you give birth to our babies, I’ll hold another wedding ceremony for you and take you to travel all over the world to make up for our honeymoon trip.”
“There’s no need for another wedding, but we must have a honeymoon. What do we do with our sons?”
“We’ll discuss it later. It’s getting late. Let’s go for breakfast.”
After washing up, Valeria and William left the hotel room. Everyone heard about William’s arrival last night, and Hayden and Gavin were relieved that he was here to accompany Valeria. After the two elders had breakfast, they left for Neuschwanstein Castle.
After the two old men left, the young people were left behind.
Everyone was in a lively discussion on where to go today and finally decided to go to the Rhine River.
After booking the tickets, they took a plane from Berlin to Frankfurt. After two hours, they finally arrived and immediately went to visit the Rhine River.
William rented a luxurious yacht and invited a tour guide to show them around. Sitting on the yacht, they enjoyed the scenery along the river banks while eating delicious food and listening to the tour guide’s explanation of local customs. Valeria was extremely happy.
She pestered William to take photos of her. She liked traveling and taking photos, so she took a lot of photos wherever she went, and William was not bothered at all. He followed her instructions and took photos to make her happy.
Richard looked at William and Valeria’s loving relationship with envy, “Didn’t they say marriage is love’s grave? William’s relationship looks better than ever! I also want to get married.”
Michael snorted, “Who doesn’t want to get married? You have to find the right one first though.”
“What? Do you think I can’t get a wife? I’m handsome and talented. I can get married anytime!” Richard said as he sneaked a glance at Braelynn, but she didn’t even look at him as she was focused on taking photos of Valeria.
Seeing that she did not pay any attention to him, Richard felt somewhat frustrated. He got up and walked towards her to start a conversation,  “Miss Saunders, what pictures have you taken? Let me have a look!”
“It’s nothing interesting.” She said as she put her phone away and moved aside. Richard pretended not to see her actions and leaned into her.
As he leaned closer to her, she felt extremely uncomfortable, “Mr. Clark, can you stay away from me?”
“This yacht is only this big. I can’t stay away from you even if I wanted to.” He grinned as he looked at her beautiful face, “Miss Saunders, the scenery of the river is so beautiful. Let me take a picture of you with it, okay?”
“No, I don’t like taking pictures.” She refused.
“Why not? Don’t girls like to take photos? The scenery of the Rhine River is really nice, and you are so pretty, so I think the picture will turn out beautiful.”
Looking at his grinning face, her face turned cold, “Mr. Clark, please conduct yourself with dignity!”
“I don’t mean anything bad? I’m just speaking sincerely. Can you trust me?” His sugar-coated words did not affect her at all. She pushed him away and walked to the side.
How could he give up? He followed her stubbornly and said, “Why did you leave, Miss Saunders? I’m not done talking yet.”
Seeing that Richard was so eager towards Braelynn, Michael almost laughed out loud, and Abbie had a mixed expression on her face.
What was Richard doing? Couldn’t he see that Braelynn was very tired of him?
Seeing that he followed Braelynn to the back of the yacht, Abbie shook her head and looked away. Seeing Michael’s expression, she said coldly, “What are you laughing at?”
“Nothing, I didn’t laugh.”
“Humph! Do you think I don’t know what you’re thinking? Are you laughing at my brother? Fu*k! I don’t like you! Stay away from me!”
Thinking that Michael was laughing at Richard, Abbie left angrily. Michael felt wronged. How did he provoke her?
As Richard followed Braelynn to the back, she turned a cold shoulder towards him, but he didn’t think much of it. In fact, he thought that that side of her was very attractive.
He stubbornly leaned over, “Ah! There is a small fly in your hair! Don’t move, let me drive it away for you!”
He stretched out his hand while speaking, but Braelynn had already reached the limit of her patience. She reached out and pushed him away, “Go away!”
They were standing on a spiral ladder. When Braelynn pushed him, he couldn’t regain his balance and fell into the river.
