Abbie hung up the phone directly after she said that. She firmly believed that Michael called to take revenge for Azalea. She really didn’t want to talk to Michael anymore, and she was tired of his calls. Abbie immediately blacklisted Michael’s phone number and even blocked him from her WhatsApp.
Abbie started the engine after she heaved a sigh. The more she thought about it, the more depressed she became. Who did she provoke this time?
Valeria had already told her about Azalea’s plot last night, but she didn’t take it seriously and she didn’t expect that she would be involved.
Since there were people discussing this matter, it must have been a huge commotion. She had to figure out what was going on, so she called Valeria.
“Valeria, was Azalea’s matter publicized?”
“No! I wanted that to happen, but it was suppressed by the public relations department of the Floyd family.” After Valeria said that, she comforted Abbie. “Although her scandal has not been spread out, her future is gone. I heard my husband say that Azalea has been terminated by the Floyd family and now she is not their spokesperson anymore!”
Abbie wasn’t happy when she heard that, but she sighed and said, “Valeria, did you know? I just heard someone talking about this in the gym. They said that Azalea was framed by me. I’m going to faint!”
“Who? Where did they get this news from? Why are you involved?”
“Right, I find it strange as well. Those two women discussed it clearly, but I was taking a shower back then. When I finished, I couldn’t find them anywhere.” Abbie replied gloomily.
“How could they talk about this matter near you so coincidentally?” Valeria felt strange. “Is it part of Azalea’s scheme? Did she ask someone to follow you and they deliberately said this for you to hear?”
“It’s very likely! If Azalea did this, she wouldn’t have done such a petty thing. She would definitely have made a big fuss. And now, I can’t tell my brother about this…” Abbie became more and more worried.
“Valeria, it’ll be terrible if she tells others about it. My parents and my brother will know about it.”
“Don’t worry, I’ll get my husband to arrange for someone to keep an eye on it. We’ll stop any rumours from spreading! I’ll tell my husband right away.” Valeria took her phone and went to the study.
“Honey, Abbie heard that someone was talking about Azalea in the gym. She said that Abbie was the one who schemed against Azalea. I think this is Azalea’s fault and she’s trying to find a scapegoat. Can you ask someone to keep an eye on her? I’m afraid that Azalea will expose this and it’ll go viral.”
William comforted her with a smile, “Marcus called me just now. Someone tried to spread this on the discussion forum, but they’ve all been deleted. This won’t cause any trouble.”
“They’ve already posted it? Are you saying that Azalea plotted this? This damn bitch!”
Valeria was angry. “She’s so detestable. We can’t let her go like this. I’m going to deal with her!”
“How do you want to do that? Are you going to beat her up?” William asked with a smile.
“Yes. She’s such a bitch. I won’t be able to vent my anger if I don’t beat her up!”
William reached out his hand to touch Valeria’s belly when he saw that she was angry. “My dear wife, you should set a good example. I’m afraid that my two sons will be violent when they are born!”
“Then what do you think we should do? It’s fine if I don’t hit her, but you have to help Abbie vent her anger.”
William laughed. “Okay, be patient. I’ll help Abbie get revenge!”
“Really? Dear, you’re the best! I love you so much!”
“Wife, aren’t you too shameless? Will you stop loving me if I refuse to help you?” William raised his eyebrows and asked.
“I’ll still love you, but Abbie will be sad if you don’t help her. I will be upset if that happens, and our babies will feel bad as well. Do you want to see us sad?”
“Alright, alright!” William laughed. “I’ll help you, but you and Abbie can’t make a huge commotion about it, okay?”
“Why not? I want to deal with Azalea now. I can’t wait anymore!”
“Stop being silly! Isn’t Abbie a member of the most elite gym here? Do you think that everyone can be a member there?” William asked.
“Of course not. Abbie and I are worried that this matter has spread in the upper-class society because it will damage her reputation.”
William asked, “If you were Azalea and your plan failed, would you publicly announce it? Wouldn’t you worry about your reputation being damaged?”
“Of course I would…”
William interrupted Valeria. “That’s right. You wouldn’t want to train your name, so would you publicize it?”
“Of course not. Were those people arranged by Azalea to make Abbie angry?” Valeria understood the situation.
“Would Azalea have the means to enter such an elite and private gym?” William countered with a pen.
“Of course not. Do you mean that those people weren’t arranged by Azalea?” Valeria asked.
William nodded. “Of course not! Azalea had been badly affected by the termination of her contract, so how could she arrange people to target Abbie? How could she possibly plot this so quickly? Someone else did it.”
“Who?” Valeria was extremely curious. “Who else hates Abbie so much?”
“I don’t know either, but I think this matter is directed at me. Let me deal with it.”
“What are you going to do?” Valeria was very confident in William, but she was still curious about how he would deal with this matter.
“Have you forgotten? Didn’t I ask you to watch the feud from the sidelines?” William reminded.
“You mean you want to let Azalea and Angel…” Valeria suddenly realized, “I know!”
Valeria did not hang up, so Abbie heard the conversation between Valeria and William clearly. She had mixed feelings in her heart.
When she encountered trouble, the first person she thought of was Valeria. Valeria had always done everything she could to help her, and she was really lucky to have such a friend.
Valeria took her phone as she walked out of the study and said happily, “Abbie, you don’t have to worry about what will happen to you. My husband will handle it. He just told us not to act rashly. We don’t have to do anything now but watch Azalea struggle with her current problems. Do you understand?”
“I heard it! Thank you, Valeria!”
“You don’t have to thank me at all. You didn’t have lunch yet, right? Come and have lunch with me at noon. The video of my wedding plan is out. I need you and Braelynn to check if there should be any changes to the details.”
“Alright, I’ll be right there!” Abbie agreed.
