In the hospital, Natasya regained consciousness after being in a coma for ten hours. After waking up, she felt a heart-wrenching pain and screamed uncontrollably.
Talitha’s voice rang in her ears, “Does it hurt, Sis?”
Hearing Talitha’s voice, Natasya turned her head to look at her, however, her cornea was taken so she could not see anything.
“How pitiful!” Talitha said as she smiled, “Look at you now, so blind and ugly, and your body has been infected with septicemia. You’re going to die soon… Any last words?”
How could Talitha speak in front of her? Wasn’t she already dead?
Natasya hissed and asked, “Are you a ghost?”
“What do you think?” Talitha chuckled, “My dear sister, aren’t you afraid when you hear my voice? Haven’t you ever thought about the retribution for hurting me?”
“You are alive? How can you be alive?” Natasya asked in disbelief.
“Why can’t I be? I’m alive because I want to see your ending. Oh, it brings me great joy to see you like this! I can’t help but laugh.” Talitha said as she laughed loudly.
Hearing Talitha’s laughter, Natasya finally believed that she was alive, “Why would the police arrest me if you are not dead? Was this all part of your plan? No! This was part of you and Raymond’s plan, wasn’t it? Talitha, you’re a bitch who deserves to die!”
Natasya cursed Talitha with all her strength. Seeing Natasya curse herself, Talitha stopped laughing.
“Natasya, you’re the one to talk. Back then, you viciously hoped that I would die just because of a shameless and evil man. You and Devon disregarded the fact that I am your family and constantly wished for my downfall. Did you think you were invincible? Unfortunately, the Heavens decided that it was time to punish you!”
“I’m going to tell the police that you’re the one who schemed against me! Talitha, you slut, just you wait!”
“Hey, if you still have the energy to swear, that means that what you went through last night was not enough.” Talitha sneered, “Go ahead and tell the police! Hardy was the one behind this. It was you who snatched him away from me and ended up as his target instead. The police know this and have all the evidence, so this has nothing to do with me!”
Talitha’s words made Natasya extremely hopeless. She was blind, disfigured, and her face was ruined. What hope would there be in the future?
Thinking of this, she gave up all hope, “How could this happen? Why did this occur? It shouldn’t be like this!”
Talitha looked at her and sneered, “Yes, why is this happening? Natasya, you must be very confused, right? So, I’m here today to tell you the truth.”
“Huh? What truth?”
“Of course it’s the truth to all of this! I have to start from the beginning! Raelyn is such a despicable and heartless person because she is not from the Saunders family at all. She is not the infamous daughter of the Saunders family, but merely a servant’s child!”
Last night, Bevan had told Natasya that Raelyn was not related to the Saunders family, but she did not believe it at all. Even now, she did not want to believe Talitha’s words, “What nonsense are you talking about? How can we be the descendants of a servant? That’s impossible!”
“This is a fact! To tell you the truth, I didn’t believe it either when I was told, but it’s a fact! The vicious servant, Laila, switched the real daughter of the Saunders family with her own baby so that her child could live a better life. She killed her own mother, Laila! How much love and kindness would you expect a person who could kill her own mother to have? Now I finally understand why she didn’t feel sad after knowing that you killed me but went to the Saunders family to ask for money and shares!”
Talitha sneered, “Speaking of which, you inherited her viciousness, and it’s even comparable to her’s! I hated you so much at first, but now, I pity you instead! It’s a waste of time to hate someone like you!”
Talitha continued, “There is one more thing, I want to tell you that we are not related by blood. I am Declan’s daughter, while you are Devon’s daughter. Devon did not like Raelyn at all, but she shamelessly clung to him. On the other hand, Declan liked her, but she didn’t like him. Therefore, the two brothers from the Anderson family schemed against her, and she gave birth to us. I didn’t understand why you and Devon were able to be so vicious towards me, and I didn’t get why we hated each other. However, I have finally found my answer!”
Natasya listened to Talitha’s narration as she sat in silence. She finally understood why Devon was so cold to Talitha and even agreed to let her hurt Talitha.
“Well, I came here today to tell you the truth so that you can reflect on it. In fact, it doesn’t matter whether you think about it or not. Anyway, you’re already in this state, so you won’t have many days to live. But at least you are lucky enough to be able to die after knowing the truth. I won’t see you off. You can continue suffering in hell! In a few days, you will reunite with your family, Devon and Raelyn!”
Talitha said what she had to say and left. Natasya shouted at her with a hoarse voice, “Talitha! What are you happy about? Do you think you’ll be better after I die? You are not the descendant of the Saunders family, so they won’t protect you either! Just you wait, Hardy has the blood vermin that you planted on him, so he will not let you go!”

Talitha strode out of the ward after saying that.
