Raelyn was feeling pleased seeing how Gavin was firstly mad with Valeria and next Arthur. She was initially feeling bothered that Gavin might give his company shares to Valeria. However, he now claimed to disown Valeria as his granddaughter. Could this mean that the shares would be equally distributed to her twin daughters then?
Gavin was pleased upon receiving a gift from Raelyn but eventually got upset because of Valeria. He switched off the massage tool and stood up from his seat. He told Raelyn, “I shall head back to my room and rest up for a while! Do make yourself at home.”
Raelyn had intended to drive a wedge in hopes to reap some benefits from Gavin. However, she was dumbfounded as she did not expect him to react this way.
Her efforts were fortunately not in vain today. Gavin finally decided to forgive her since she was being so respectful towards him just now. Things had changed for the better since he no longer blacklisted her WhatsApp contact number.
This was a good start for Raelyn. There was a chance to turn the tables around as long as Gavin was pleased with her and decided to forgive her mistakes. She would then obtain the opportunity to sow discord and obtain more financial assistance from him.
Raelyn returned to the hospital and decided to visit Talitha first. However, Talitha was not in the ward and did not answer her phone as well. Raelyn was feeling worried and inquired the nurse, “Do you know where Talitha is?”
The nurse glanced at Raelyn and replied, “I have no idea but I saw her leaving the ward not long ago.”
“Why didn’t you ask her about it then?” Raelyn was feeling dissatisfied and continued, “She is a patient but you are not caring towards her at all. What kind of a nurse are you?”
The Anderson Family’s reputation in the hospital was extremely poor as everyone was aware of their scandals. Raelyn did not lay low and still continued to be so full of herself. The nurse had enough of her arrogance and sneered.
“Madam, I am a nurse and not a caretaker. You should have opted for the latter if you want someone to take care of your daughter all day. We do not offer a one-to-one service as our job scope requires us to take care of our patients equally. Besides, we are not obliged to pay extra attention to a patient who is not critically ill!”
“Why are you giving me an attitude? How dare you talk to me like that?” Raelyn was furious and raised her voice, “I’m going to submit a complaint about you!”
The nurse glanced at her with an annoyed look on her face. She then turned around to prepare the medication and did not intend to continue the conversation.
It was as clear as day that the nurse had chosen to ignore her. Raelyn was feeling embarrassed and upset at the same time. She thought of the good old times when others would show respect and went all way to be on good terms with her. Things had completely changed seeing how she was no longer being taken seriously at all. She felt discouraged upon thinking about the massive difference in treatment that she had received.
She was agitated but did not dare to submit negative feedback about the nurse. She then angrily went to Natasya’s ward which was situated upstairs.
Natasya was always not in her ward as well. What was exactly going on when the both of them are not in their respective wards?
Raelyn tried giving Natasya a call but there was no answer from her.
Both Talitha and Natasya were not in their wards and they did not pick up their phone calls as well. Could it be possible that they were both met with trouble?
Raelyn was feeling increasingly anxious when she thought about it.
Natasya was about to take an afternoon nap when Hardy unexpectedly came to pay her a visit.
He held a bouquet of fresh roses in his hand and came into her ward with a smile on his face. Natasya was surprised and delighted upon seeing him.
She accepted the flowers from him and threw herself into his arms. Hardy did not push her away despite her ruined face but gently held her waist instead.
Natasya was not interested in Hardy if she was being honest. However, she decided to go all-in by aiming to become his girlfriend as she was left with no choice. She said coquettishly, “Hardy, did you come to pay me a special visit today?”
“Yes, this is my first time gifting flowers to a woman! How do you find them?” Hardy asked with a pair of passionate gazes.
“I adore them so much! This is also my first time to receive flowers from a man if I were, to be frank with you! I like these flowers so much and I would take good care of them!”
“How silly of you! I don’t mind giving it to you every day if you like them that much,” Hardy replied dotingly.
“Really? You would be happy to buy me flowers daily from now onwards?” Natasya questioned.
“Of course. It is my pleasure to provide you fresh flowers every day as long as you like it!”
They flirted with each other for a while. Natasya coquettishly said that she was healthy enough to be discharged from the hospital. However, she had no place to settle down at the moment.
She was signaling to Hardy in hopes of letting her move in with him. Hardy had a motive for his visit today and swiftly given Natasya a fantastic idea, “I have a vacant apartment around the area. Why not you live there for the time being?”
“Hardy, are you sure about that?”
“Of course! We can head over to have a look at the apartment right now if you are okay with it.”
Natasya was not a foolish person to reject his offer. She was feeling over the moon as Talitha did not move in with Hardy even when she was currently pregnant. Natasya decided to seize this perfect opportunity to achieve her ultimate goal.
“Alright then, let’s head over to the apartment right now.”
They hugged each other and eventually left the hospital. Hardy brought her to one of the most luxurious apartments in B City. Natasya was feeling contented as the layout and decoration of the apartment were utterly outstanding.
She then excused herself to the bathroom after looking around for a while. She edited a voice recording that she had secretly taped before having it sent over to Talitha. The content was about the flirty conversations that she had with Hardy on the car when making their way to the apartment.
Talitha clicked the file open and was furious upon hearing the conversation between Hardy and her sister.
She swiftly sent a message to Natasya and cursed, “Natasya, you bitch! Please have some self-respect and leave Hardy alone! This is my last straw towards you!”
“Aww, I almost peed my pants! Talitha, I will not let Hardy go and you would not stand any chance against me,” Natasya provoked her.
“You s*ut! You’re just a b*tch with a ruined face!”
Natasya snapped back, “Well, at least I am much more attractive than you. Aren’t you heartbroken that Hardy would rather choose me despite my ruined face over you?”
“What nonsense are you talking about? He was not interested in you at all but you had shamelessly hooked up with him. Otherwise, how could he be lured into your trap?”
“How retarded of you! Talitha, nothing lasts forever. The fact that Hardy used to dislike me does not mean that his feelings would not change. By the way, do you know where I am situated right now? I am currently in a lovely apartment that Hardy had specially prepared for me. We will do everything as a couple! Are you pissed off yet?”
Natasya even sent the location of the apartment to Talitha in hopes to provoke her further. Talitha was fuming with anger and immediately sprung up from her bed. She swiftly left the hospital and headed to the address where Hardy and Natasya were currently at.
Natasya was busy texting Talitha in the bathroom. Hardy, on the other hand, sneered and sent a message to someone else, “Are there any updates at your side? Has Talitha left the hospital yet?”
“Yes, she has exited the hospital with an upset look on her face. Mr. Anthony, what are you going to do her?”
“Well, it looks like Natasya was the one who caused her to be in such a displeased mood. Her viciousness is indeed out of the world. She plans to get rid of Talitha’s baby in her belly just to have a greater chance of becoming my girlfriend. Their bad blood has nothing to do with me. I will come up with an excuse and leave this mess to Natasya. She is a quick-witted person and would definitely do a good job at it.”
