Chapter 805 Blood of the Heart

“How would I have the time to answer your call? Talitha pretended to faint after she stabbed Natasya and she was taken away by Raymond. I can’t stand by and watch Natasya cry on the ground, can I?” Hardy smiled bitterly.
“I don’t want to care about this vicious and shameless b*tch, but I can’t control my heart. I felt sorry for her when I saw her screaming with blood on the ground, so I sent her to the hospital.”
“And then?” Paisley asked.
“Then, she screamed in the operating room. The doctor gave her an anaesthetic, cleaned her wound, and placed her on an IV drip in the ward. When I saw that she was asleep, I asked someone to call Raelyn to take care of her before I left. I didn’t know that the news have been leaked until I was on the way home. It must be Raymond!”
“Raymond? Why did he do that?”
“Why? For revenge?” Hardy sneered. “I’m going to arrange for Bevan to withdraw from the search. If Raymond hadn’t appeared today, I would have been kept in the dark. On my way back, I finally understood one thing and I’m afraid that William set me up!”
“What does this have to do with William?”
“Think about it. The two sisters of the Anderson family placed hexes on William and me at the same time, didn’t they? William’s spell failed, but mine succeeded. Wouldn’t hex only make me attached to one person? I was attracted to both Talitha and Natasya. That’s not right.”
Paisley interrupted him. “Don’t you like Natasya because she and Talitha are twins? Could it be because they have the same personality?”
Hardy shook his head. “Absolutely not. Do you think that Talitha and Natasya are like normal twins? These two b*tches don’t like each other, so how can they affect me at the same time? I was confused before. Until today, I suddenly found that it was not the case when I saw Raymond appear. William must have changed the Natasya’s hex and transferred it to me.”
Paisley was shocked. “This is just your guess, there is no evidence.”
“What evidence do you want? William knew that Natasya was going to plot against him. How could he not have done it in advance? He now hates me for not discussing it with him and he definitely won’t let me off. It would be best for him to be controlled by the Anderson family sisters like this.”
Although Paisley did not quite believe in Hardy’s suspicion, this possibility did exist. She reminded Hardy, “Hardy, if you are really under the two sisters’ hex, then the antidote may be a lot more troublesome.”
“Antidote? Paisley, if William had schemed against me, I would suspect that there was no antidote at all.” Hardy was a little disheartened. “If I knew that things would have come to this point, I would have stopped at the start. But now, I couldn’t get the woman I liked and I even got myself into such a situation. The losses have outweighed the gains.”
“It’s too late to regret your actions now and the only way for us now is to find the antidote. Perhaps, that wouldn’t be such a hard task.”
“I hope so!” Hardy got up and threw his phone to Paisley. “I’ll take a rest first. If Raelyn calls me, tell her I’m sick.”
Paisley nodded. “Okay, go and rest. Leave Raelyn to me.”
Paisley was ready to go back to her room after she watched Hardy go upstairs. However, her phone rang just as she stood up. It was the person she had arranged to find the antidote, so she immediately picked it up. “How is it?”
“Miss, we went to Kenoland and found several famous locals to ask for the antidote. All of them gave the same answer.”
“What did they say?”
“They said that the woman raised the hex with her own blood, so we have to get the heart’s blood from the person who raised it.”
“What is that?” Paisley asked.
“They said it’s the blood in the heart of the person who created the hex.”
“What do you mean? Do we have to take the blood from her heart? Wouldn’t that mean we have to kill her?” Paisley raised his voice.
“Almost. They mean that the heart’s blood can only be taken by cutting open the heart, so it’s almost the same as killing the other party.”
“This…” Paisley pondered for a moment. “I’ll ask someone else for more information. I’ll give you more money, so you’d better make sure it’s the truth.”
Paisley’s expression turned ugly after hanging up. Could this really be William’s plot?
The purpose was to let Hardy kill Talitha and Natasya for the antidote?
This was too terrifying!
Paisley’s back felt chilly. No wonder Hardy said such discouraging words just now. William was not someone that anyone could provoke.
When she thought about her ridiculous scheme towards William, her face burned with embarrassment. She thought that her acting was good enough, but she must’ve been a fool in William’s eyes.
He didn’t take her seriously from the beginning to the end. He knew that the person he wanted was Valeria. All women, except Valeria, were unimportant to him.
She was clearly daydreaming!
In New York, the servants of the Floyd family packed their luggage. Fandrey and Deborah boarded the private jet while they were accompanied by their bodyguards.
Angel was very happy. “Grandpa, do you want to call cousin?”
“What for?” Fandrey asked back.
“Shouldn’t we remind him to pick us up? I’m afraid he won’t be willing to do so at that time!”
“He promised to pick us up. How could he break his promise?”
“It’s hard to say since he is now under Valeria’s control. If Valeria doesn’t let him pick us up, he definitely won’t come!”
Callum frowned. “What are you talking about? You don’t know Valeria, so how do you know that she would do this? How can you believe random speculations without any proof?”
“Dad, I’m not making wild guesses. I just heard it from someone else.” Angel argued.
“Who said that?”
Angel did not dare to lie. “Natasya.”
“Oh, is that the notorious daughter of the Anderson family? How can you believe what she said?” Callum’s face became serious. “Didn’t I tell you not to associate with those uncivilized people? How did you contact Natasya?”
“I… ”
Angel was used to playing coy in front of Fandrey and Deborah, but she was still a little afraid of Callum. After being reprimanded by Callum, she had to ask Deborah for help. “Grandma! Look at my dad, he’s always scolding me!”
“Well, don’t keep scoling her. Look at how scared she is!”
Deborah tried to smooth things over and Callum didn’t scold Angel anymore. However, Angel felt as if she had been wronged.
It was all Valeria’s fault and she was such a pain. Angel would always get scolded whenever she mentioned Valeria. With this, Angel would definitely not spare Valeria when she went back. She must let Valeria know how powerful she was!
