Talitha immediately told Raelyn and Natasya about Hardy’s behavior as soon as she returned back to the hotel. It seemed that William’s prediction was accurate.
Both Raelyn and Natasya were feeling excited upon hearing about it.
The trio was certain that William would also treat Natasya the same way based on Hardy’s sudden change of attitude. Both men had consumed the blood vermin after all.
Natasya could not wait to visit William and get ahold of his reaction. However, it was not an easy task as his men were keeping a close eye on him.
Raelyn noticed her expression and suggested, “Natasya, I think William must have woken up since Hardy has regained his consciousness as well. You can try to send him a message and test the waters.”
“Alright, that sounds good.” Natasya immediately texted him, “William, how are you feeling now? I’m very worried about you.”
Natasya was feeling a little anxious as her message was not being reverted back. “Why is he not replying back to me?”
“He might not have read it yet.” Raelyn continued to comfort her, “He’ll text you back when he checks his phone out.”
Natasya was feeling bothered and questioned Talitha, “Hardy treated you differently as soon as he woke up, am I right?”
“Yes, he is a totally new person. His gaze is tender and he talks to me in a gentle tone. He used to dislike any body contact with me but held my hand first when we left the hospital just now.”
Talitha’s face lit up upon talking about it and she continued, “He wanted me to move into his villa but I refused as I am feeling uneasy about it. We agreed to talk things through tomorrow.”
Natasya was feeling increasingly anxious upon hearing about it. She desperately wanted William to treat her the same way that Hardy had treated Talitha.
William was a handsome man and his gentle gaze would definitely make Natasya’s heart skip a beat. Things would get much more intense if he made the first move and held her hand. She blushed upon imagining things inside her head.
She then sent another text message to William but there was still no reply yet. Raelyn tried her best to calm Natasya down and said, “It’s already late and he must be resting now. Things will turn out fine tomorrow.”
“But, his birthday is tomorrow. Mom, I would want to wish him when the clock strikes at twelve.”
“Oh, please! How could you possibly have the chance to meet with William when Valeria must be accompanying him by his side now?” Talitha snorted and continued, “Scrap the idea and it will be better for you to come up with a way to see him. It will be useless if you don’t get to meet him in person, am I right?”
Talitha agreed and replied, “Yes, you’re right. How could he have the time to check his phone when Valeria is keeping a close eye on him? Valeria, that b*tch, she shall be prepared as I’ll let her suffer tomorrow.”
“What are you planning in store for her?” Talitha asked.
“Isn’t Valeria claiming her love and planning to throw a party for William in a bombastic way? I’ll shame her there and then.”
Natasya continued with an excited look on her face, “William will show his love to me when I arrive at his birthday party and Valeria would be deeply humiliated by it. This is my payback and will turn the tables around. Everyone will be surprised that William is actually in love with me instead of Valeria. I can already imagine the headlines to be full of it.”
On the other side of the fence, Valeria was not concerned about William and was instead busy baking a cake for him in the kitchen.
Valeria had been watching countless tutorial videos in hopes to bake him a lovely birthday cake. She had also gone hands-on to try out her baking techniques.
It turned out that she was talented in baking and cooking. She had once read through a recipe and managed to cook up a mouth-watering dish. It was surprising that she had also succeeded in baking a cake for the first time as a beginner.
It was a simple task in baking, but she was more concerned about decorating the cake.
She took a long time to frost the cake and made a heart shape as the framework. The middle of it was a phrase of happy birthday which was surrounded by red-colored rose frostings.
The servant had been observing Valeria when she immersed herself in the baking world. She offered to assist Valeria several times but was eventually turned down by her.
She was very surprised upon seeing Valeria managed to make such an excellent cake, “Madam Valeria, did you use to take up baking lessons?”
“Nope, this is my first time baking a cake!”
“You are so talented in this!” The servant praised her.
Valeria grinned and said, “I’m finally done with the cake. It’s now time for me to wish my husband a happy birthday!”
She cautiously brought out the cake to place it on the table and inserted the candle. She glanced at the time and it was almost midnight. She immediately sent a message to William, “You can come down now!”
She switched off the lights upon listening to the footsteps upstairs. Valeria stood quietly in the dining room and waited for William.
He finally reached the dining table and realized it was pitch black. He then grinned and said, “Honey!”
Valeria remained silent and the birthday song then emerged. Valeria held his hand and wished him in a gentle tone, “Happy birthday! My lovely hubby!”
Her lip was pressed against his before he could react further.
William was a fan of this kind of surprise and wanted to make out with her. However, she just gave him a peck and retreated.
William reached his hands out but could not get ahold of her. A vague flick was soon heard as Valeria pressed onto the lighter.
The cake was finally visible and he was utterly surprised to see it, “Did you make this?”
“Yes. It does look good, right?” Valeria asked confidently.
“Of course. It is out of this world!” William gasped. She pulled him to the table and had him seated. She then lit the candles on the cake and said, “Honey, you can make a wish now!”
William was not used to it as he had never celebrated his birthday before.
He eventually cupped his hands and made a wish after being urged by Valeria.
Valeria looked at him with a pair of dazzling eyes and asked, “Have you made your wish?”
“Yeap!” William replied.
“Alright then. Let’s blow out the candles together.”
They were seated opposite to each other and the candles were soon extinguished. Valeria then reached out and smothered his face with cake frost. He was taken aback and stared at her with disbelief.
She chuckled and continued her piece of art. Willaim’s face was soon covered with frosting and he licked the ones near his lip. He then praised Valeria and said, “Hmm, the frosting tastes good!”
