William squinted and sneered, “Her timing is always so impeccable.”
He took the phone from Bobby and answered it, and Natasya’s voice came through, “William, you finally picked up!”
He replied calmly, “I was busy just now. Oh right, why did you call me?”
“William, I want to meet you. I have something very important to say to you.”
“But I’m busy now.” He refused deliberately.
When he said this, Natasya was anxious, “It’s really important, please come out and see me. It doesn’t have to be for long. Just find an excuse to sneak out.”
“Very important? Hmm, okay, l’ll try.” He finally agreed, and Natasya was overjoyed, “For your convenience, shall we meet at a cafe near your hotel? How about two o’clock in the afternoon?”
“Okay, I’ll try my best to make it!”
Hearing his agreement, she was delighted, “I’ll book a private room first and text you later. We’ll meet at two o’clock.”
After hanging up the call, William felt disgusted as Valeria, who was next to him, didn’t understand why Natasya wanted to see him.
“Dear, she looks like sh*t right now, but she wants to see you. What is she doing? Is she going to complain about me to you?”
“No, she has another purpose. The timing is almost right, so I guess she has already completely nurtured the vermin and wants to carry out her plan.”
William knew Natasya’s true intentions when he noticed her rushed actions. The vermin must be ready by now, and she couldn’t wait to start her plan.
Valeria was shocked, “So fast? What are you going to do?”
He replied indifferently, “I’ll go with the flow.”
He answered very confidently without taking Natasya seriously, but Valeria was different, “I am worried for you! It’s a blood vermin you’re dealing with, so you can’t afford to make any mistakes. Hubby, you have to be careful.”
He reached out to pat her hand, “Don’t worry. Now that I know her purpose, I just have to think of a way to deal with it. Don’t worry, there won’t be any problems.”
Natasya hung up William’s phone and looked excitedly at Raelyn, who was standing by her side, “Mom, it’s two o’clock in the afternoon. Let’s get ready right away.”
Raelyn nodded and put on gloves to take out the mature vermin from the bottle. Then, she poured alcohol over it and lit it on fire.
The vermin let out a shrill cry and soon burned to death. She then carefully crushed and wrapped it up before handing it to Natasya.
Then, she killed Talitha’s vermin and handed it to her, “Our hopes are in your hands! As long as Hardy and William eats this, and our plans will succeed!”
Natasya carefully put the vermin in the bag and immediately changed her clothes. She couldn’t put on make-up because her face was extremely swollen, so she put on a hat, a mask, and a pair of sunglasses to go out.
Raelyn looked at the time, “It’s still early, though?”
“I’ll go and prepare and wait for William to take the bait. Mom, wait for my good news!”
Seeing that Natasya could not wait to go out, Talitha snorted and called Hardy to make an appointment to meet.
After Hardy’s call went through, his assistant, Bevan, answered the phone, “Miss Anderson, Mr. Anthony is in a very important meeting right now. Why don’t you call him later?”
Talitha hung up the phone unwillingly, and Bevan handed the phone to Hardy and said, “Mr. Anthony, you can’t always use the same excuse. You have to find other ways.”
“What other ways? Damn it, I’m so annoyed!” Hardy’s face was full of annoyance, “Have you investigated what happened to Valeria? Is she really pregnant? With William’s child?”
Although the news was viral, Hardy still didn’t give up. He didn’t believe that Valeria would be pregnant with William’s child because he knew very well that as long as it happened, there was no hope for him.
“I asked someone to go to the hospital to check, and she was indeed recovering in the hospital before. However, the doctors were very secretive and refused to leak anything. I bribed a janitor for information, but she said that she didn’t know that Valeria was pregnant, but she saw Hayden go to the hospital to visit her several times.”
When he heard Bevan say that Hayden had gone to the hospital to visit Valeria, Hardy frowned, “Is this true?”
“That’s what the cleaner said, so I think Valeria must be pregnant. Otherwise, there is no reason for Hayden to visit and treat her so well when he used to hate her so much. Besides, Valeria is celebrating William’s birthday with great fanfare. This has never happened before. If Hayden didn’t agree, she wouldn’t dare to do it.”
Bevan’s words irritated Hardy even more, “Evidence! This is just your guess. I need concrete evidence!”
How could Bevan get evidence? He glanced at Hardy and said, “Mr. Anthony, if Valeria is really pregnant, what are you going to do?”
Hardy was stunned. Even though he was wondering whether Valeria was pregnant or not, he neglected a very important question. What would he do if she was actually pregnant?
Should he kill the child in her belly? That idea was unrealistic. Even if he could do it, it would take a lot of effort.
Seeing Hardy remain silent, Bevan tried to persuade him, “Mr. Anthony, I think you’d better give up. She’s already William’s woman, so there’s nothing you can do about it. There are plenty of better women than her. You have too many choices…”
“Bullshit! If I had too many choices, why would I still want her?” Hardy was angry and interrupted Bevan without mercy, “I want what I can’t get. I don’t disagree that there are probably better women than her out there, but I am only interested in her!”
Seeing that Hardy was so obsessed, Bevan could not say anything else and left with a sigh.
After Natasya left the hotel, she drove to the cafe where she would meet William. On the way there, she had already thought about what she was going to do.
She would first go to the cafe and order his favorite coffee. Then, she would put the vermin in the drink so that he could drink it, and her plan would be a success.
She thought about it while driving and got increasingly excited. She imagined William being obedient toward all of her requests.
Natasya happily parked her car in the parking lot of the coffee shop and strode into the coffee shop with her bag.
She had already booked a room, so she went straight to the location when she entered the coffee shop. When she turned a corner upstairs, a man suddenly rushed down and collided with her.
