When Talitha returned to the hotel from the hospital, she ran into Raelyn. She frowned when she saw her daughter and roughly pulled her into the room. Talitha’s arm hurt, but she did not want to injure the child in her belly, so she did not struggle and let Raelyn do what she wanted.
After she saw the marks on her hands from her mother’s grip, she pushed her away and asked angrily, “Mom, what are you doing? You’re hurting me!”
Raelyn stared at her coldly and asked, “Where have you been? Why couldn’t I get through to you?”
“I went out with my friends,” she answered guiltily.
“If you went out, why did you turn off your phone? Do you know how many times I called you yesterday? I was so worried about you! I’m so mad!”
Hearing her triggered tone, Talitha felt uncomfortable, “Mom, what do you mean? Why are you mad at me for no reason? I didn’t mess with you.”
“Your sister was humiliated in the hospital yesterday and your grandfather also came to scold me! I was so anxious the whole day, and you weren’t picking up your phone. Can I not be mad?”
“Humiliated? By who? And why did Grandpa scold you?” she asked in reply.
“It’s all because of William’s incident,” Raelyn told her about what happened yesterday and said resentfully, “How dare the Howard family humiliate your sister like this. They even asked their servants to cause trouble in the hospital ward! How infuriating!”
When Talitha heard that Natasya had been humiliated, she did not feel any sympathy for her. Instead, she was happy for some reason. She thought to herself, “Good for her!” But she did not say it out loud. Instead, she asked, “So you’re saying that the scheme against William failed and they won’t be together in the future?”
“I don’t know. Let’s wait and see since William still has feelings for your sister! This is all Hayden’s fault. Why didn’t Savannah kill him back then?”
Talitha did not care about what happened to Natasya at all. In fact, it was the best-case scenario that her sister’s plan had failed. Otherwise, given Natasya’s personality, if William really fell for her, her ego would be through the roof and she would definitely look down on Talitha.
Anyway, she was not worried about Natasya at all. Now, she was most afraid of offending Gavin since meeting him was the main reason why she was in a hurry to leave the hospital. Hence, she could only count on him to find Hardy for her.

“Has Braelynn left?” he asked.
“Yep! Richard crossed the line last night! By the way, was he punched very hard?”
“Quite!” he replied.
“What did you two talk about? Did he pester you to help him again?” she asked.
“No,” he didn’t dare to admit it. He knew better than to admit that he gave Richard advice because she would definitely teach him a lesson if he did.
“Really?” she didn’t quite believe it, “You must be lying to me. I’m telling you, if you dare to lie to me, I’ll teach you a lesson!”

He decided not to tell anyone about giving Richard advice, otherwise, he would be in deep trouble.
Women are violent creatures even if they look docile on the outside. As he thought about it, he realized that Richard and Braelynn would turn out to be an interesting couple, since Richard wouldn’t be able to go against Braelynn’s brute force.
He decided to add fuel to the fire and told Valeria, “Braelynn must have been frightened last night! Richard went too far this time. How could he do that? It’s going to be so awkward between them now. Honey, you should call Braelynn and tell her that Richard will never pester her again in the future and let her rest assured.”
Valeria didn’t know what he was planning, so she picked up her phone and called Braelynn, “Braelynn, you don’t have to worry. My husband came back and told me that Richard has decided that he won’t pester you anymore in the future!”
After everything went according to plan, William smiled enigmatically. As long as Braelynn had a little affection for Richard, she would definitely feel uncomfortable to hear that.
If Richard followed his advice and turned a blind eye to her, he would be able to get what he wanted.
