Hardy was still in the office despite it was already ten in the evening. The phone on the table was buzzing and he glanced at it with a frown on his face.
Hardy initially thought that it was from Talitha. However, he immediately picked it up when he saw that it was a number from abroad.
“Hello, who is on the line?”
“Mr. Anthony, things have been rough lately, isn’t it?” The man sarcastically asked.
“Who said that?” Hardy tried to deny.
“Stop pretending. Although you succeeded in suppressing the news, I have managed to see the indecent video of you and Talitha. Everyone said that your skills were disappointing, but I know the actual reason behind it. Mr. Anthony, you must have felt as good as dead when you do things with a woman that you are not interested in, right? Since you were willing to sleep with Talitha to achieve your purpose, why can’t you consider cooperating with me?”
Hardy did not answer the man and remained silent. He teamed up with Talitha was because he knew her capabilities and could be on his toes at all times. However, it was too risky for him to corporate with this mysterious man who was living abroad as Hardy had no idea about him.
The mysterious man then went on, “William is one of a kind and you don’t stand a chance against him. You can only succeed if you choose to corporate with me!”
“Who on earth are you?”
“I can’t tell you my identity for the time being.”
“Why should I believe you if you choose not to reveal yourself? Why should you deserve to be trusted when all you do is hide behind a mask? One should show sincerity to persuade the other party for cooperation, isn’t it?” Hardy retorted.
“I’m telling you, William is cursed and he would suffer a headache whenever he hears the name of Valeria. Would you like to give it a try?”
Hardy sneered and said, “Come on, that’s old news. Shouldn’t you have something new and exciting for me instead?”

Hardy had gotten onto the nerves of the mysterious man, “Watch your tone, and do you still not think that you are in a big mess right now? You’re on the verge of dying, and you are fully aware of William’s style, right? He’ll definitely seek his revenge by tenfolds on you. You’ll be dead meat if you don’t join forces with me!”
Hardy sneered and said, “You have overestimated William, and don’t you know that I have framed him before? The winner of the battle has still not been finalized yet!”
“Do you think you have a chance?” The man laughed and continued, “Cut it out as you are of no match against William. You’ll see for yourself if you’re doubting me! I’m making the offer sincerely and you would surely regret it later when William had made a move on you! I wouldn’t be so generous as to open up an offer with you by then!”
The man was threatening him and Hardy’s eyes were blazing with malice. Was that bastard underestimating him, the great Hardy?
“The man was wrong to take me lightly!” Hardy thought to himself.
Hardy hung up the phone furiously but a call from Talitha then came in. “That shameless b*tch!”
Hardy angrily threw the phone aside and ignored Talitha’s call.
Talitha gave up after calling him three times continuously.
It has been five days since she had an IVF procedure. The doctor had told her that she was successfully pregnant and she wanted to tell Hardy about the great news. However, Hardy had avoided all her calls.
Talitha was saddened by Hardy’s attitude towards her. However, she was determined to get through this to avoid her efforts being flushed down the drain.
She planned to use the child inside her belly to accuse Hardy that it was his. She would then be able to force Hardy to admit their relationship of being together.
Talitha calmed herself down and told herself that there was still a long way to go. She was confident that she would be able to get Hardy under control.
In the hospital, Natasya took her mobile phone out and sent several messages to William while leaning against the bed. However, she subsequently put her phone away disappointedly as William did not respond to her text messages.
Raelyn noticed and asked her concernedly, “What’s wrong?”
“Mom, he is not replying to me and ignored my request of obtaining his WhatsApp number. I’m really worried and anxious about him.”
“This is strange. Why don’t you call and ask him about it?”
“It’s getting late and I’m afraid that I’ll disturb him while he rests,” Natasya hesitated.
“Now is the perfect time to give him a call. If you think about it, he spent his day with a bunch of people, and Hayden would keep him under his watch to afraid you from contacting him like when you both were abroad. It would be a whole new story now since its night time, and the guards would not watch him by his bedside, don’t you think?”
Raelyn’s words made Natasya’s eyes lit up with hope. “You’re right. I’ll call him right now.”
Natasya picked up the phone again and dialed the number. When the phone had gotten through, she was overjoyed and said in a gentle voice, “William!”
“Who are you?” A rough and deep voice of a man was heard. Did I dial the wrong number? Natasya thought to herself as she was a little confused.
However, this was the correct number that Raelyn gave her with the name “William” on it.
Natasya suppressed her confusion and asked, “Erm… isn’t this William’s phone number?”
“That’s right. Who are you?” The man asked in a stern voice.
“You’re Natasya, the shameless little b*tch from the Anderson family, right? You b*tch, have you gone bonkers about men? Take a look at yourself and how would you have the confidence to pretend to be William’s girlfriend! You’re a worthless swine and I’m warning you to stay in your line! I’ll break you if you dare to call William and harass him again!”
Natasya was embarrassed and she hurriedly ended the call.
Raelyn had heard their conversation clearly as she was right beside Natasya. “Who is that? Why is he so uncultured and vulgar?”
“Who else could it be? It must be one of Hayden’s men to keep an eye on William.” Natasya was both flustered and furious, but there was nothing she could do about it.
“Mom, what should I do now? It looks like he was under close watch seeing that someone even answered his phone call. Wouldn’t it be much more difficult for me to have contact with him?”
Raelyn sighed and replied, “We have made the wrong move and all we can do now is to wait and see how it goes.”
Bobby had ordered a bodyguard to pick up Natasya’s call and curse the hell out of her. He then went to inform William about it.
William frowned and had a disgusted look on his face. It seems that she is really desperate, William thought to himself. He then sneered and said, “Isn’t she interested in having my WhatsApp number? Ask them to get her contact and see what she has to say.”
“Are you sure about it?” Bobby was stunned.
