Chapter 609 Secretly Jealous Of My Charming Personality

“I knew that you would say this! I’m so hurt. Michael, let’s head off.” Richard pretended to leave.
Michael chuckled and replied, “Cut it out and let’s talk business. Have you decided what to do with that b*tch?”
“I would get rid of her that’s for sure!” William brushed his chin and continued, “It would be foolish for me to let her off the hook knowing that she has laid a finger on me.”
“I’m looking forward to it. Mind giving us some hints?” Richard giggled.
“Nope, can’t do!”
“Why are you being so secretive about it?”
“No, it’s just that I have yet to come up with something. There is a big show awaiting her tonight and I’ll plan accordingly if she manages to survive from it. However, I would not have to waste my effort if the game is over.”
“What the hell? What on earth is going on? Tell us more about it!”
William grinned and said, “Do you recall that someone tried to kill me when I was in New York? The news of me returning back home would definitely be leaked out and I’m sure that there will be an ambush outside the airport at two in the early morning.”
“There is a traitor within the Floyd family, right?” Richard asked.
“I guess so,” William nodded.
“But, isn’t it strange that the traitor wants to get rid of you? You have no business with the Floyd family at all, right?” Richard was utterly shocked.
“You’re right. I guess someone might be secretly jealous of my charming personality.”
“Pfft! You’re still thick-skinned as usual,” Richard and Michael laughed.
The plane eventually landed at the Juxemburg airport when it was two in the morning. Natasya switched on her phone hurriedly and called Devon.
“Dad, I’ve landed safely and William is not on this flight.”
“What? How is that possible?” He was utterly surprised as he was confident that she would be returning home together with William after getting ahold of the plane ticket.
“I have no idea. I got on the plane and headed straight to the first-class cabin but there was no sign of him. I could not call you as the plane took off shortly and I was so anxious during the entire journey.”
“Why didn’t you call the Floyd family instead?” He questioned.
“I do not have their phone number,” She replied in frustration as she did not have the guts to obtain their phone number during her stay there. She was not very close with them despite Wiliam’s grandparents treated her relatively well.
On the other hand, Angel was not a fan of her despite them being almost at the same age and treated her coldly. Natasya was also foreign with the servants as she only had her eyes on William at that time. She initially thought that she could manage to win him over and turn things around but her hopes had been flushed down the drain.
“Natasya, I’m so disappointed with you!” Devon did not expect things to turn this way as he was confident that Natasya would be able to get William under control. They were at a disadvantage point as they have lost contact with William and the Floyd family as well.
Natasya was feeling sulky and replied, “Dad, I am sorry that I have let you down but I’m feeling blue as well. You should now come up with something to help me out, right?”
“There is nothing more that we can do. I have arranged for someone to pick you up from the airport and you shall head back to the hotel where your mother is currently living.”
She had no choice but to follow his instructions and eventually got into the car while feeling extremely displeased.
Did William manage to return to the country? Natasya thought to herself while the vehicle started to make its way back to the hotel. If that was not the case, it could only mean that the Floyd family was suspecting something fishy from her and all her efforts would be gone in vain.
She was feeling discontented as she had missed the perfect opportunity to leave a good impression for William. Besides, it would be hard to plan her next move as she had yet to gain the trust of his grandparents.
She was feeling increasingly upset as she felt that she did a great job in putting on a brilliant act. What on earth went wrong? She thought to herself.
It was impossible for William to suspect her as he had lost his memory. How could his grandparents sense something fishy?
Was Hardy the one that badmouthed her to the Floyd family regarding Wiliam’s ambush in the club last time?
She froze upon thinking about this as Hardy had always been setting his eyes on William to get rid of him. Could it be possible that the Floyd family refused to let Wiliam board the plan as they were afraid of this?
He must have been transferred elsewhere since the Floyd family was worried that he might experience an ambush again. Had they arranged for him to take a private plane back just like the time when he went for the treatment overseas and tried to deceive the enemy by pretending to buy a legitimate ticket? Natasya was feeling anxious when she thought about it.
She reckoned that it would be an eventful night if her prediction was true. Hardy would not let her off the hook since she seemed to be on a team with William.
She broke out in cold sweat and ordered the driver, “Turn the vehicle around and head back to the airport immediately.”
The driver was confused but followed her orders immediately. A rumbling sound was suddenly heard and it seemed that William’s enemy had finally started to make a move.
Her hands were sweaty and madly told the driver to speed up while giving Devon a call, “Dad, someone is ambushing me. Please come up with something and get me out of here!”
Devon immediately seek help and ordered the police on duty at the airport to rescue her.
Natasya was as nervous as a cat and shouted at the top of her lungs upon seeing the cars behind her picking up speed, “Hurry! Drive faster!”
The driver stepped on the pedal and successfully remained a distance from the cars behind them. Natasya breathed out a sigh of relief, but a modified Hummer suddenly emerged from the sideway and crashed into their car.
“Ah!” Natasya screamed as she was taken aback.
The car eventually crashed at the roadside upon being hit by the Hummer and was seen to be in a bad shape.
Two well-built men got off from the Hummer and headed to Natasya’s car for verification about her condition. However, they were taken aback by a loud noise that came from nowhere and was one step behind to gauge whether Natasya was alive or dead.
The sound of a sharp weapon slitting them was as clear as day. Their legs were cut by a knife.
A faint siren noise was heard and backup from the airport had finally arrived. Both Natasya and the driver were covered in blood and they were carried into the rescue car.
The men that were in the Hummer were also taken away by the police. The car that was tailing Natasya did not expect things to turn out this way and had no choice but to change their plan.
The car sped up as if it were running for its life and was a few meters apart to leave the airport route.
Two heavy-duty vehicles were already waiting in line to ambush the car. The vehicles sandwiched the car as it made a turn at the corner and was violently crushed into pieces.
