Chapter 595 Bold With His Words

Fandrey was stunned for a moment, “Who did it?”
“I don’t know! When we arrived, the police had already blocked the scene. I only heard that it was very messed up inside, and everyone was crippled.”
“Crippled?”
“Yeah, their fingers have been cut off, and the tendons in their hands and feet have been broken. There was no way for them to continue their line of business in the future!”
Fandrey was in shock, “That’s pretty ruthless! Who the hell did that? An enemy seeking revenge? Isn’t this too much of a coincidence?”
The person in charge of the bodyguards couldn’t answer his questions, so he waved his hands to dismiss him, “Where is Sammuel? Get him in here now!”
Sammuel pushed the door open and came in. “Mr. Floyd!”
“Tell me, what’s going on?”
“I interrogated the bodyguards who were protecting William. When the incident happened, they asked one person to bring William to retreat while the others fought against the attackers, but the person who was supposed to be with William was attacked, and he fainted. He doesn’t remember what happened.”
“What do you mean? A bodyguard as strong as him was attacked and fainted, while William was saved by Silas who appeared out of the blue? Don’t you think it’s ridiculous?”
“It is! The person who attacked him died on the spot. It was a very simple wound, a blow to his head and that was the main reason for his death,” Sammuel hesitated for a moment before saying, “Maybe Silas happened to hit the fatal spot on his head and managed to escape with William out of luck.”
“Out of luck? You think there’s so much luck in this god d*mn world?” Fandrey shook his head, “Have you found out Silas’ identity?”
“I’ve checked. He has been working here his whole life as a delivery man. Someone ordered takeout over there tonight,” He replied.
“Is this really just a coincidence though?” Fandrey asked again.
“I observed Silas carefully. Well, he looks well-behaved, and there is nothing suspicious about him. According to my intuition, he has no malice against William.”
“Intuition is the most unreliable thing.” Fandrey shook his head, “What I want is absolute safety.”
He paced around with his hands clasped behind his back. His phone made a ‘ding-dong’ sound, and he took it out to check it. He frowned and said, “Haha, interesting!”
Sammuel didn’t dare to ask him about it and stood quietly. Fandrey waved his mobile phone at Sammuel and said, “Someone sent me a message telling me that William doesn’t like Natasya at all. She is a vicious person, and she was the one behind his accident. It also said that he lost his memory because of the drugs she gave him.”
“Who… who sent you this information?”
“I want to know that too,” Fandrey sneered, “Drugs and memories lost… There must be something fishy about this! I’m going to check up on William.”
He walked upstairs and went to William’s room while Deborah was still comforting him. He came in with a kind look and asked, “William, are you feeling better now?”
“Yeah, I’m just a little scared!”
“Don’t be afraid. I will protect you,” Fandrey sat down and continued, “I’m planning to give the person who saved you a generous reward and send him back.”
“Send him back for what? That person saved his life, so you should keep him here. We owe him a lot!” Deborah replied unhappily.
“Even so, it depends on whether he wants to stay or not. I think it’s best to give him money and send him back. William, how much do you think is suitable?” Fandrey looked at William, but he didn’t say anything.
Deborah was getting unhappy and said, “Fandrey, what’s wrong with you? Is this a matter of money? Can money buy William’s life? Since that person saved him, let him stay. It’s not that we can’t afford to support him.”
“I’m just worried if he doesn’t want to.” There was a deep meaning behind his words.
“Why wouldn’t he be? He’s just a delivery man so isn’t it better to give him a few months of salary in advance than send him back to his delivery life?”
There was no more room for negotiation. Every time he wanted to talk to William, his wife would interrupt, so he didn’t know what William thought about the situation. Fandrey was kind of annoyed with this.
His wife was not a person who could be easily persuaded. Why was she always helping William? What did he do for her to speak up for him like this?
With her stirring things up, he naturally wouldn’t be able to ask anything. He stood up and said, “Let William calm down by himself. Let’s go down.”
“I’m accompanying him. This child is scared out of his wits!”
“That’s enough, he has to grow up! Let him recover by himself!” His face darkened, so Deborah got up reluctantly. Before leaving, she reminded William, “Grandma is downstairs. You can call for me if something happens.”
After they left, William sighed in relief. Did Fandrey suspect him?
He turned on his phone and saw a message from Valeria. He immediately replied, “Don’t worry, I’m okay!”
“It took you so long to reply! I was scared to death!” After a few hours, she finally felt relieved after he replied.
“I’m fine, baby, it’s all settled. I have my own men to protect me now. Don’t worry! I’ll come back to find you the day after tomorrow at the latest.”
“Really?” She was extremely happy.
“Of course, I never lie. What do you want? I’ll buy it for you.”
“I only want you! You will be my greatest gift!”
“All right! I also have good news for you. Natasya took off her clothes and danced at the nightclub tonight.”
“Did you see her dance?” She immediately replied.
William could sense a strong hint of jealousy from her texts. Sure enough, she was his woman and her focus was different from the others. She didn’t seem happy to hear that Natasya made a fool out of herself, instead, she was afraid that he saw her naked. He immediately replied, “No, how could I possibly watch her dance? I slipped away in advance.”
“William! You’re not allowed to look at other women and can only look at me!”
“I know, my jealous baby. Why don’t you dance for me when I come back?” He asked.
“That depends on how you treat me! If you behave, then I’ll dance for you.”
Looking at her text while thinking about her beautiful face and imagining how she looked like without clothes, he found it unbearable, “Honey, I miss you so much all of a sudden! When I come back, you must dance for me… naked!”
She blushed with shame. William had become more bold with his words ever since he lost his memories. He had never dared to flirt like this before!
“Jeez, bye for now!”
