Archer’s threat made Savannah’s heart sunk. “What are you trying to do?”
“I have already obtained the evidence that you ordered Paxton and Dixie to frame Natalie with. Whether you agree to a divorce or put yourself in jail, it’s up to you.”
Looking at his icy expression, she knew that she was not in control of the situation anymore. She would rather die than go to jail. “Okay, if that’s what you want! But I have a few conditions…”
“Savannah, don’t you know that you don’t have the right to request anything from me? Don’t you remember how you schemed and plotted against me and Natalie in the past? Get lost! I want you out of my sight forever!”
His eyes were filled with coldness, which made her shiver as she said, “Aren’t you afraid of my father…”
“Do you think I’m afraid of him?” He sneered, “Do you think your father will stand up for your shameful acts? Speaking of which, you still owe him a life, don’t you? If your father finds out that you were involved in the death of the woman he loves, what do you think he will do to you?”
“I… I didn’t… That had nothing to do with me! It wasn’t me!” She denied.
He chuckled coldly, “I don’t care about the other things you have done. Now, I’m talking about our divorce. All you need to do is agree to it and leave the Saunders family immediately. Anything else has nothing to do with me!”
She had no other choice now, and she didn’t have the courage to request anything anymore. There were only two options in front of her right now. If she agreed to the divorce, then Archer would give up the investigation; but if she didn’t, Archer would ruin her reputation and force her into jail.
If she was imprisoned, he would have a million reasons to divorce her by then. Therefore, she had no choice but to divorce him of her own will rather than getting divorced after going to jail.
“Okay, I’ll agree to a divorce! Everything will be settled if I do so, right? Those videos, and my father…”
“I’ll give you the video immediately after the divorce. As for your father, you have to explain it to him yourself. That has nothing to do with me. Those things you did before have nothing to do with me, and I won’t intervene.”
Although he promised that he wouldn’t do anything, Savannah’s heart was still filled with bitterness. All her efforts in the past had gone to waste just like that, and she was furious!
“I have another request. As for my dad, I hope there will be a better explanation.”
He looked at her indifferently and said, “Don’t worry. Your father will come here soon, and you can explain it to him later. Besides, you don’t have any shame left in you anyway, do you?”
While Hayden’s car headed straight for William’s villa, he received a call from Gavin. “Hayden, something big has happened!”
“What’s the fuss about?” He asked impatiently.
“Savannah was caught cheating with Ronald Brown! Isn’t that shocking?”
“What did you say? That’s bullsh*t!” He was so angry that he started cursing.
“You can go check for yourself if it’s bullsh*t or not. My men are on their way over, so you should head there too.”
Hayden trembled in anger as he heard this. Savannah wasn’t stupid, so why would she cheat on Archer with that disgusting Ronald? Needless to say, this was something that the Saunders family had arranged.
The Saunders family was smart, and in order to let Valeria marry William, they chose to deal with Savannah in this way. They completely disregarding him!
Hayden ordered Lucas, “Turn around. We can visit William another time! I want to see what the Saunders family is up to!”
When they arrived at Berylnn Street, Gavin had just arrived as well. Hayden’s face was as cold as ice as he got off of his car. “Gavin, you’ve got some good tricks up your sleeve!”
“Compared to your daughter, this is nothing. Let’s go up and take a look!”
Soon, the two of them entered the house one after the other. The place was still in a mess, and Savannah and Ronald had already put on their clothes. Archer’s lawyer had already arrived and was asking Savannah to sign an agreement.
When Savannah saw them enter the house, she put down her pen and looked at Hayden with a pitiful expression. “Dad!”
She was over 50 years old, and there were hickeys all over her neck and face. It was disgusting as she still had the audacity to act so pitifully while looking like that.
Hayden had a cold expression on his face and said, “Don’t sign it yet. I don’t believe that my daughter will cheat on Archer. There must be a reason behind this.”
“There is a reason! Let’s sit down and talk!” Gavin motioned for everyone else to leave.
After that, there were only a few people left in the room. Gavin looked at Ronald and said, “Tell me, what is the reason behind this?”
Then, Ronald lowered his head and began to tell the story as if he were reading from a script.
“Since you all already figured it out, so I won’t hide it anymore. It all started 20 years ago… Savannah had fallen in love with President Saunders, but he didn’t like her. In order to be with him, she began to plot against him and Natalie. It was fake that President Saunders had slept with her and got her pregnant. They were never together! And in order to trigger Natalie, Savannah forced President Saunders to marry her by pretending to be pregnant. Later, she framed Natalie and took away her child after she gave birth. Then, she raised Natalie’s child as her own.”
Gavin and Archer knew exactly what was going on, but Hayden was shocked to the core. He glared at Savannah and asked, “Is this true? Tell me, are the Saunders family framing you?”
She didn’t say anything as her head hung low, and there was no trace of pity on her face anymore.
As he saw her like this, Hayden gasped for breath angrily as Ronald continued.
“After that, she plotted against Natalie so that we ended up together. On the night Natalie was taken away by President Saunders, nothing happened between us. In order to prevent Savannah from plotting against her again, Natalie chose to marry me for show. However, Savannah still refused to let her go. She asked her servants, Dixie, and Dixie’s younger brother, Paxton, to poison Natalie. I knew all of this, but I didn’t stop them, which led to Natalie’s death.”
Upon hearing his words, Hayden closed his eyes. He had long guessed that Natalie had been killed by Savannah, but he never brought it up.
The Saunders family had already taken control of the situation, and nothing would change without signing the agreement. Was there nothing else to do except watch her go to jail like this?
If they had talked to him in advance about these things, it was still possible for him to stop them. At least he could get them to divorce decently. Even if it meant that she wouldn’t get a single penny as compensation, he could have avoided Savannah and Ronald’s current scandal.
Hayden hated Savannah’s viciousness and shamelessness, and he was even angrier at being fooled by the Saunders family.
He had never been threatened like this in his life. But now, he was intimidated and had become a laughingstock because of her.
Hayden looked at Gavin coldly. “Gavin, I’m a friend of yours. I’ve never done anything bad to you, have I? Why are you doing this to me?”
