As William was thinking of a plan to stop Gavin, Savannah had also found out that Gavin met Valeria today.
Ever since Savannah found out that Valeria was Archer’s daughter, she quickly arranged for someone to follow Valeria around. When she heard that Gavin had lunch with her, she was infuriated.
She threw the teacup in her hand and shouted furiously, “D*mn it! Who does that old man think he is! Am I invisible to him? How could he go look for that brat? Is he planning on bringing her into the family?”
Seeing how enraged Savannah was, Charles shook his head.
“There’s no use being angry about this. Just think of something quickly. It seems like Gavin already knows about Valeria’s true identity now. If that’s the case, then Archer will know about this soon too. If you don’t think of idea fast, things will become ugly then.”
“What should we do? Kill that b*tch? Only by getting rid of her, we can live in peace!” Savannah was enraged, and the idea of murdering someone sprang into her mind again.
On the other hand, Charles was calm as he wasn’t affected in this matter, and he could not understand how anxious she was feeling right now. So, he was very clear-headed about this.
“You can’t do anything to Valeria. If you do, Gavin will definitely suspect that it was you.”
“Then what do you think I should do?”
“Didn’t I tell you before? Let that b*stard of yours sleep with Valeria. If that scandal gets out, Gavin will never let her into the family for the sake of both your son and Valeria’s reputations. By then, not only can you get your revenge, but you can stop Valeria from stepping into the Saunders family too.”
As expected, Charles’ viciousness was on par with Savannah’s. He swiftly reminded her of the plot they had discussed not too long ago.
“That’s a good idea, but how can I get the both of them together?” Savannah asked. “I am so angry right now that my mind is an absolute mess, Charles. You have to think of something! I want to see her suffer immediately!”
“This can’t be rushed. We need some time to prepare. That b*stard of yours and Valeria don’t know each other yet. So you need to find a reason for them to meet. Or else we can’t do anything.”
Hearing that, Savannah calmed down and thought in concentration. She paced around the room, pausing once in a while as her brain whirled. “I have an idea!”
“What is it?”
“That brat has always liked Abbie and has never forgotten about her. Aren’t Valeria and Abbie best friends? Abbie will surely bring Valeria along if that b*stard asks her out since they’re that inseparable. Then, we can easily set them up!”
After Savannah finished telling him her idea, Charles shook his head. “I don’t think that’s good enough. What if Abbie doesn’t bring Valeria along? Your plan won’t work then.”
“If Abbie doesn’t bring Valeria with her, we’ll just make that b*stard and Abbie drunk, then tell Valeria to come pick her up. Even if she brings a driver with her, we can just silence them. By then, everything will work out, right?”
“We can give it a try, but we can only make our move if Valeria shows up with Abbie. If she doesn’t, we’ll have to give up on that plan and think of something else.”
“Why?” Savannah was anxious to ruin Valeria that she couldn’t wait to start her evil plan.
“Gavin is not a pushover. Once he finds any clues that point to you, you’ll be finished. When you plotted against Natalie back then, he was not related to Natalie, so he didn’t do anything about it. But now, you’re plotting against his dearest granddaughter and grandson. He will kill you if he finds out!”
Savannah sat down exasperated after being warned by Charles. He was right, and she knew that she was being too anxious. She could not rush things and had to do it slowly if she wanted to succeed.
“I’ll ask that b*stard about Abbie, and we’ll think about what to do afterward.
Savannah meant what she said and immediately called Raymond. Once the call got through, she hid all her viciousness and transformed into a motherly figure instantly. “Raymond, do you have time tonight? Why don’t you have dinner with me and your Uncle Charles?”
“Mom, I have a date tonight.”
“Oh, who are you meeting?” Savannah immediately asked. “Is it Abbie Clark?”
“Yes, how did you know?” Raymond asked happily.
“Of course I would know, I’m your mom after all. You have to choose a good place for your date. Girls love guys who are generous. Remember to give her some flowers…”
“Mom, I know. You don’t have to teach me what to do.” Raymond was not interested in Savannah’s idea.
Savannah’s heart filled with hatred and disgust. B*stard! Did he really think that she had wanted to help him? She had only wanted to find out where they were going! “Alright, since you have a date tonight, I won’t get in your way. We can eat together another time.”
“Okay, I’ll treat you to dinner some other day!”
After hanging up, Savannah’s face was full of joy. “Charles, he said that he’s going to meet Abbie tonight! Why don’t we make our move tonight?”
“Let’s observe first. Arrange for someone to keep an eye on him and find out where he’s having dinner with Abbie. We can plan further after getting more information.
Meanwhile, after ending the call with Savannah, Raymond started whistling while he washed up and got dressed. He was going to have dinner with Abbie tonight, and it was just the two of them! Not to mention that Richard was the one who called him first to arrange this. It was just too good to be true!
Tonight, he had to be at his best for Abbie and finally succeed in impressing her.
Raymond was in high spirits, but on the other hand, Abbie was not happy at all.
Because of what happened the previous night, she was scolded by Richard until dawn, before finally getting the chance to rest properly.
However, Richard could not fall asleep after sending Abbie to her room.
His intuition told him that what happened in the private room last night was not a coincidence, and that Michael still had feelings for Abbie. Abbie had lost her memory and didn’t remember what happened between them, but Michael still remembered everything clearly. Richard didn’t want Abbie to get hurt again, so he had to get in between them no matter what.
Abbie had strong self-esteem, and it was exactly because of this that got her into that accident back then when she heard about the rumors about Michael.
If she could see that Michael and Azalea loved each other dearly, she would never be with Michael no matter how hard he tried. So, he had to start from there.
As he thought about this, Richard immediately called Azalea. “Azalea, is your foot alright?”
“I’m much better now. Is anything the matter, Richard?”
“Well… I drank too much last night and punched Michael. You should go see him and tell him I said sorry. I’ll send a driver over to your place.”
“What!” Hearing that Michael was hurt, Azalea jumped in surprise. “Which hospital is he in, Richard?”
“I don’t think he’s at the hospital. I think he’s still at Wolf Group. You should get ready, someone will be there to pick you up soon.”
Richard had always been indifferent to Azalea. But now, as he had suddenly arranged for her to look for Michael, she immediately knew the reason.
Richard must have found out that Michael still had feelings for Abbie, and he wanted to use Azalea to stop Michael.
Azalea knew that Michael had no feelings for her, but she still wanted to fight for the happiness that she deserved. With Richard helping her, she would definitely succeed in securing Michael easily.
