After Savannah had said her piece, she stood up and left while Elizabeth was angered beyond speech. She stomped upstairs and saw that Charles was not home. She had wanted to barge into Ashley’s room and beat her up so badly.
But her mind was telling her not to.
After all, she didn’t know what Savannah and Ashley were plotting yet. But she knew that if she ruined Savannah’s and Charles’ plan, she would be dead instantly.
Once she returned to her bedroom, she closed the door and texted Mason. “Savannah has brought Ashley over to stay in my house and she said that she was now her assistant. I don’t know what those two b*tches are plotting.”
Mason was shocked when he saw the message from Elizabeth, “Huh, is it true? Ashley is staying in your house?”
“Of course it’s true. Why would I lie to you? I was so pissed just now. Savannah has no respect for me at all. And that b*tch Ashley was acting like she was way better than me. I really hate them. Hurry up and consider our plan, Mason. I don’t want to live like this anymore. I might die of anger!”
Mason looked at Elizabeth’s text with a darkened expression. He didn’t tell Elizabeth that Charles was having an affair with Ashley as he thought that Charles wasn’t serious with Ashley.
But now, he had even brought Ashley home to stay under the same roof as Elizabeth. He had gone too far!
Anger and hatred filled Mason’s heart as he typed his reply furiously. “Elizabeth, just wait for a few days. I’ll think of a perfect plan.”
After breakfast the next morning, Valeria left Wolf Group and went to the Brownard Group while William, on the other hand, was still lazing on the balcony under the sun with his pajamas on.
At around 9, Andrew came and said as soon as he entered the suite, “William, Ashley Evans has moved in to my dad’s villa.”
“Really? Are they that desperate?” William sat up straight as he heard this.
Andrew walked towards him and sat down. “Savannah brought Ashley there and said that she wanted her to be her assistant, so she let Ashley stay there. But Elizabeth did not stop her. What’s up with them?”
“They are taking advantage of each other. Savannah wants Ashley to help her with her dirty deeds, and Ashley is using Savannah to gain a firm foothold in the Howard household. The reason Elizabeth didn’t stop them was because she is planning something herself too. If I were to plot something against you, I wouldn’t warn you in advance, right? She has been swallowing all of her hatred for so many years and your dad doesn’t even know how powerful she has become. I think she’s going to make a move soon.”
Andrew nodded and said, “William, when they start harming at each other, will I finally be able to uncover the truth behind my mother’s death? Can I finally seek revenge?”
“That’s possible!” William nodded. “Andrew, I know that you’ve been wanting to take revenge on Elizabeth Eich for a long time. It is normal for you to hate her, but you have to know that your mom’s death wouldn’t be this secretive if it were just Elizabeth behind this. Do you understand what I’m saying?”
Andrew nodded and said, “I understand. I have thought about this a long time ago. My dad must be involved in this too! William, I will definitely avenge my mother. I will make sure that whoever that was involved in this will be punished severely.”
Upon hearing that, William nodded and sighed. “Just let them be for now. If I have more clues, I’ll let you know firsthand.”
“Alright. By the way, when I went home yesterday, grandpa asked me about you. He wanted to know who you usually hang out with. I think he’s suspecting something.”
“It’s okay, just tell him that you don’t know anything.”
“Yeah, that’s how I answered him today. He even told me to go work at the company. He said that my dad is not that trustworthy. Do you think I should go?” Andrew asked for William’s advice.
“Go ahead, your grandfather wants to nurture you. You should learn more from him. You’ll have to be in charge of Howard Group in the future.”
“Alright, I’ll listen to you. You know you can tell me anything, right. I really want to help you, so just tell me and I’ll see if I can be of any help.”
“It’s good enough if you help me lie to your grandfather.” William laughed and patted him on his shoulder. “Go on, go trick your grandfather for me.”
Andrew left with a smile. As soon as he left, William frowned and picked up his phone. He had asked Marcus to look for information about the mysterious woman, but around 9 hours had passed. Why wasn’t there any news from Marcus?
Couldn’t he find a single clue? He thought as he called Marcus. “Have you found anything?”
“Mr. Howard, I asked someone to get all the footages of the surveillance cameras around Lucian’s house, but they were all destroyed. Then, I tried to look for footages of the cameras at where Bobby had the accident, and I saw a black Phaeton. I checked the number plate, but it was a fake one.”
“Is she that cunning?” William chuckled coldly.
“Yes, I had no choice but to ask my guys to go through every surveillance camera and we finally found something just now. That Phaeton went in the direction of an abandoned oil factory. However, there aren’t any surveillance cameras there so it would be hard to find traces of her.”
William sighed and said, “Alright, I got it. That’s enough for now. Get a few men to keep a close eye on Archer Saunders. If this woman met him yesterday, she would definitely see him again in the future.”
Marcus thought about it for a moment before asking William. “Mr. Howard, shouldn’t we keep an eye on Lucian?”
“That woman must have told Lucian that Bobby was spying on her last night. So, Lucian won’t try to do anything for now. It would be useless to keep an eye on her. But it’s different if we keep an eye on Archer.”
After saying that, William suddenly thought of something. “Wait, if Archer has never met this woman before, then it would be useless for us to spy on him too.”

The diner was packed as it was lunchtime. There were only a few seats left and as they were famished, they quickly sat down at a table outside.
As they were looking through the menu and were about to order, an old man with a white beard appeared in front of them with crutches.
