“Don’t act as nothing happened,” Eion said.
That made me nervous. I looked at him curiously. “I’m not acting, what is it?”
He tilted his head, “You really don’t remember?”
I shook my head no. He cursed under his breath. “We ki.. we uhm.. never mind.”
My eyes widened. Ki? Oh, no…. is that.. is that…. kiss? Did we really?
Oh my gosh…. so it was really true… I thought that was only a dream!
“Kiss?” The word comes out of my mouth.
He didn’t reply. Instead, he stopped and turned his head away with me catching him reddening at the word. He nodded his head slightly. “So did that really… happen?”
“Forget it. you were drunk…”
He cleared his throat and raised his head. “See? You’re really acting as nothing happened. Plus, it’s the second time I kissed you now.”
“Okay! Stop with that topic, geez, Eion. Good thing you’re there in the hospital bed cause if not, I would have hit you in the arm already…” I said, hiding the blush on my face by looking down, scratching my hair.
“Wow, so abusive, Snow. And when do you think we should talk about it then? What if I’ll be dead by tomorrow.”
I gulped at that. “Well..” Leaning my head to my propped-up hands, I grinned at him. “No. That won’t happen. I’m sure.”
“How so?” He asked, testing me.
I shrugged then remembered my mission. “A bad horse can not easily die. So that’s why I’m urging you to visit your dad.”
He snorted. “More like forcing me again.” He then crossed his arms together in front of him, “You always have a way of things, don’t you?”
I proudly spread my arms wide, “What can I say? I’m a mastermind.”
“Then how can you make me recover faster?” He asked.
“IhavealotofthingstosaysogetwellsoonsoyoucanvisityourdadsothatIcanliveinpeaceandwon’tbehunteddownbyhismen,” I said quickly. I breathed in and out, panting at that.
Eion put his pointing finger to his chin like he was considering it, then shook his head no. “I didn’t understand a word that you just said. Please speak clearly.”
I sighed, “Fine. If you get well soon, I’ll talk to you about that kiss…”
He shrugged, “Still not enough.”
I scratched my head in distress, “Ugh! Why do the tables always turn to me! What do you want then?”
“You.” He answered quickly, not even thinking for a second. He stared at me straight in the eye, almost like seeing my soul.
I gulped, chuckling nervously at that. “Me?” I snorted. “Stop playing games Eion.”
“Well, you think I’m playing?” He asked.
I looked him dead in the eye. ” How dare you. I can’t even remember clearly that kiss so it means you stole it from me. This is really not the proper time. I have a boyfriend named Luke and he’s your cousin. I felt like I cheated you bastard. It’s your fault!”
Eion smiled a little. “Do you really love him?” He said. “Then I won’t get well soon, not soon that my dad will be dead by that time.”
I rolled my eyes. “That’s not a problem anymore then. That’s between family matters so I’m out.”
“Then you can’t fulfill your promise to an old man. He’ll hunt you down when he’s a ghost. Or he will do what he threatened you.” He said.
I shivered, curious how he knew that his dad told that to me. “How did you know?”
He shrugged, “That’s my dad. I know him too well.”
You Hudson men! Now the pressure is all on me! Why am I always the one who’s being toyed with in the end? This is not fair!
“Then how about school now? Do you think you can catch up when we get back?” I asked. “I can give you my notes and-”
“That’s alright. I just need the motivation to recover soon.” He said.
“What motivation?” I asked.
“You.” He replied and I rolled my eyes. “Eion! I’m serious!”
“I’m serious too. Do I look like I’m joking right now?” He said.
“Just stop please, Luke is my boyfriend,” I said firmly, standing up now. I had enough of this.
“Sure, keep telling that to yourself.” He said, “Just tell him the truth, that you love me. Plus, admit it to yourself.”
I just rolled my eyes. Why do they keep confusing me?
Kissing him was enough that I just cheated on my boyfriend. Gosh, now I feel horrible.

After visiting Eion yesterday, our flight was canceled but it good thing Eion’s dad was humble enough to afford us one and we just got into an available flight today.
Eion was left behind since his condition can’t let him go and have a flight.
“Snowwy!”
I gasped, running to where my little brother was. I didn’t waste a moment to hug him so tight I’m afraid he’ll break. Gosh, I really missed this little ray of sunshine in my life.
“Can’t… breath…” He managed to croak out, I giggled. “C’mon, let’s go home, Snow.”
I stopped and turned around, seeing mom standing there with her arms wide open. Grinning, I walked towards her and embraced the woman who gave birth to me.
“Yeah, let’s go home,” I said, starting to lead the way. I waved goodbye at the squad who was just getting into Leroy’s car. The airport is busy as of now and as we made our way to mom’s car.
“So, how was it?” Mom asked. I stared at her and grinned, then yelled in excitement. “I have so much to tell you mom, so much fun!”
