THEME: He found out
MOON STONE FORTRESS
AT THE PACK HOUSE
Meagan walked done the stairs to find the pack house moving with so much activities as all of her loved ones lay in the large living room indulged in one fun thing or the other. Jayden, Jaylen, Collins and Benjamin lay on the plush rug bent over a laptop looking at whatever it is. Claire is squished between her grandmothers telling them all about her day with her friends. Carl and Mr Swift are plopped in one corner talking.
Meagan let out a long yawn. She had been sleeping for a long time when she had only intended to take an afternoon nap. Looking up at the big wall clock, she realized it was almost time for dinner and it seem like they had all left her intentionally to rest by not waking her up.
Ever since her family came around she has been resting quite well and Carl looks quite healthy too. A small dinner feast as ordered by Carl was holding for the night and their close friends had been invited which includes Julius and his family not leaving out the two Deltas, Jeremy, Julio and their families too. It had been long they had such get together, responsibilities and family had taken up their time.
“Hey mama.” Jayden called out to her.
Meagan smiled as she walked closer to them. “Hello everyone.”
“And the sleeping beauty is awake.” Collins taunted.
“Don’t mess with my wife mister.” Carl called from his seat, motioning towards Meagan to come to him.
They all chuckled. Meagan heaved a sigh of relief as she relaxed into the couch Carl sat on.
“Did you sleep well?” Carl asked, smoothing her hair out.
“Yes I did.” Replied Meagan, placing a quick kiss on his lips.
Mr Swift smiled at her. “You look more relaxed than before.”
“All thanks to your presence. Thanks for showing up dad.” Meagan mused sincerely.
Mr Swift watched Meagan’s gaze sweep through the room and how relieved and happy she looked. For a moment he had felt their presence would be more of a burden to Meagan considering how much she was going through. It felt so relieving when it was obvious their presence brought more peace to Meagan. She practically glowed through the in depth happiness she felt.
“When are we to receive our guests?” Gabriella asked.
“They should be here very soon.” Claire responded, checking her wristwatch.
In a minute the door burst open giving way to Delta Jeremy and Assistant Theta Brianna alongside them was their triplets. Hermione, Ron and Harry. Claire sprang up towards Hermione. The both of them doing a silly jump around at the excitement of seeing each other.
“Hello people.” Brianna greeted with her smile so bright that it could light up a room.
Meagan stood up to hug her, it had been a long while since they last saw each other. “Hello Brianna.”
Brianna hugged her tightly. “Hey there Luna.” Stretching her arms wide a bit, Brianna stared dramatically at everyone in the room. “What did you all give this Luna to eat, she is glowing!” The room roared with laughter.
“Don’t be so silly Brianna.” Meagan blushed.
“She is right aunt, you look amazing.” Hermione added as she hugged Meagan.
“That’s the effect of having a great husband like myself.” Carl gloated.
“No one would argue that.” Jeremy said.
Occupying different seats, everyone settled into a space. Ron and Harry had joined in whatever the younger men were doing before. When the Beta’s family arrived just a few seconds to the arrival of Juno and her father it became more crowded. Meagan became more of a talkative in the midst of her friends and Carl seem to be more enthusiastic being with the friends of his prime.
Jaylen stared in awe at all of them but he was more preoccupied with how Lorelei looked for the night. Her skin glowed in the emerald green dress she wore with her hair plaited in a tiny braids that made her look like an angel. As if reading his thoughts, his phone message notification chimed. Lorelei had sent him a text to meet by the lake. Smiling at the screen, he made a quick excuse leaving the midst of his uncle and brother. They had been discussing on a new business line Benjamin intends to work on and he was showing them a blueprint of it.
“Have I told you how breathtaking you look tonight?” Jaylen mused behind Lorelei as he held her by the waist.
She giggled delightfully, turning around in his arms to face him. “Hey handsome.”
“Hey beautiful.” Jaylen cooed as he kissed her. “What game are you trying to play coming here tonight looking all ravishing? I could take you right here.”
Lorelei rolled her eyes slowly. “No one told me the reserved Jaylen can be crude.”
“Anything you want me to be for you baby.” He grinned nuzzling at her neck. “How did you escape your friends?”
Lorelei chuckled. “I told them I needed to use the rest room.”
Jalen tweaked her nose. “That’s so naughty of you.”
“It’s not like anyone would notice we are gone for a few minutes. They are too busy enjoying each other’s company.”
“True.” He nodded in agreement.
“Can we stay here for a while before dinner? I want to enjoy these serene space with you.” Lorelei said.
“Just the right spot. You know where my heart really belongs.” Jaylen teased, placing wet kisses on her neck.
“What do you mean?” Lorelei asked out of curiosity.
“I don’t know if I ever mentioned it, but this lake is a part of my childhood and it’s all good memories. I have always told Jayden that I would bring my mate here to consummate our marriage.” He grinned.
Lorelei gasped for effect. “Are you proposing to me?”
“Not yet, you brought me here I didn’t.” Jaylen teased.
Lorelei slapped his chest gently. “Get away.”
Jaylen laughed into her ear as he pulled her closer to himself. “I love you baby.”
“I love you too.” Lorelei replied as she kissed him eagerly.
The hair on Jaylen’s body stood and he felt a cold air surround him as if someone was watching them. Looking back behind him, he found his brother Jayden standing with a murderous look in his eyes.
“So, Lorelei is the girl you have been seeing?” Jayden’s voice thundered, rustling the peace of the night.
