The next morning before the sun came up, Alpha Marcellus and his Luna, and a few warriors set out on a mission to find a missing warrior. The warrior had been missing for several days, and they didn’t know if he was even alive or dead. Alpha Marcellus and his people were determined to find him and bring him back, and he knew that his Luna was the key to finding him, his Luna has even located the warrior. The warriors mate was deeply worried and prayed to the Moon Goddess to protect and save her mate and also bring him back to her.
The group set out just as the sky was beginning to lighten with the first hints of dawn. They moved quickly and quietly through the forest, their senses alert for any sign of danger or the missing warrior.
Luna Morgana took the lead, her eyes scanning the ground for any clues that might lead them to their destination. She moved with purpose and determination, her connection to the forest guiding her steps.
As they journeyed deeper into the forest, the trees grew taller and thicker, casting long shadows across the forest floor. The air grew cooler, and the sounds of the forest grew louder around them. Alpha Marcellus, with his Beta Alex and his warriors stayed close to the Luna Morgana, relying on her to guide them through the dense underbrush.
Suddenly, Morgana stopped and held up a hand, signaling for the group to be quiet. She pointed to a patch of disturbed earth on the ground, indicating that someone had been there recently. Alpha Marcellus and his warriors tensed, ready for whatever lay ahead.
They moved cautiously forward, their eyes scanning the forest for any signs of danger. As they rounded a bend in the trail, they saw the missing warrior lying on the ground, his body battered and bruised and he was lifeless. Alpha Marcellus rushed forward his body and mind filled with anger at the lost of one of his warriors.
“Who is doing all this?”, Marcellus growled angrily.
Morgana bent down to the body and spotted punctured holes, “this seems like the work of a vampire”, she explained to them as Marcellus also noticed it.
“But what vampire, we don’t have any issues with any vampire”, Marcellus stated, rubbing his hair.
“Let me do a spell of spiritism to find out what happened”, Morgana told them softly.
“What does that mean?”, Alex asked her.
Morgana explained that the spell of spiritism is a type of magic that involves communicating with or manipulating the dead. It is a practice that has been found in many different cultures throughout history and is often associated with magic . While the specifics of spiritism can vary depending on the tradition or culture in which it is practiced, there are certain common elements that are typically involved.
One of the key aspects of spiritism is the use of a dead body as a focus for the spell. In order to perform a spiritisic spell, the practitioner typically needs access to a corpse, either fresh or preserved and the warriors body was a bit fresh which was good, the spell will be able to work. The body is used as a vessel through which the practitioner can communicate with the deceased, gain insight into their life or death, or even control their actions.
The exact methods used to access the dead vary depending on the tradition or culture in which spiritism is practiced. Some practitioners may use ritual tools such as candles, incense, or specific herbs or stones to create a sacred space for the spell. Others may rely on their own psychic abilities to connect with the dead, using meditation or trance states to enter into a communication with them, which was the one she will be doing, psychic abilities, etc.
Once the practitioner has established a connection with the dead, they can begin to ask questions or make requests. Depending on the nature of the spell, the practitioner may be seeking information about the circumstances of the person’s death, seeking guidance or advice from the deceased, or even attempting to control their actions or influence their spirit.
After explaining it to their understanding, they let her do what she can. She took a deep breath and began to focus her energy on the task at hand.
Slowly, she reached out her hands to the body, feeling the chill of the skin against her fingertips. She closed her eyes and began to chant softly, her voice rising and falling in a strange, guttural language that seemed to come from deep within her.
As she chanted, the place began to glow softly, casting a faint light around the forest. Morgana’s voice grew stronger and more insistent, as she called out to the spirit of the deceased, urging it to reveal itself.
For several minutes, there was nothing but silence. Morgana began to worry that the spell had failed, that the dead woman’s spirit had not answered her call. But then, suddenly, she felt a presence in the forest, not her mate or her warriors. It was a faint, ghostly feeling, but it was there, hovering at the edge of her consciousness.
With renewed focus, Morgana redoubled her efforts, calling out to the spirit of the dead warrior by name. Slowly, she felt the presence growing stronger, until it seemed as if the dead warrior was standing right beside her.
With a deep breath, Morgana opened her eyes and gazed into the face of the dead warrior. For a moment, the two of them simply stared at each other, until the Morgana spoke softly, asking the dead warrior to reveal the cause of his death.
To her surprise, the dead warrior answered, his voice barely more than a whisper, “here see”. Morgana concentrated as the dead warrior showed her everything that happened. She winced at the pain this warrior had suffered before he was killed. The warrior’s spirit started to fade and Morgana came back.
Marcellus helped Morgana up and asked her, “what did you find?”.
