Back in New Orleans, Nara Inadu had finally made her way back home and the house was just how she left it, no issues of any sort. Stepping in she found Marcellus who had come down to check who opened the door without knocking, he found it to be his aunt Nara and went to hug her but she moved away, smiling softly at him and telling him that she kinda isn’t clean for a hug. Marcellus understood and nodded, leaving Nara to go up to her room to freshen up. While she did that, Marcellus went to the kitchen to whip up something for his aunt. He wasn’t sure if she had, had a good meal but it didn’t look like she did.
Marcellus whipped up something simple and served it on the dining table, calling out to his aunt who was already coming down and towards the dining.
“Mmmm something smells delicious”, Nara said as she complimented Marcellus and also teased him at the same time. Marcellus chuckled as he bowed jokingly and helped his aunt into her sit, making both of them laugh at his act.
“I didn’t know if you had something to eat so I decided to make you something. I hope you like it”, Marcellus told his aunt, who smiled at him and thanked him as she ate and enjoyed her dinner.
He had learnt cooking from his mother, he may not be perfect as his mum but he sure do know how to whip up something.
As Nara ate, Marcellus asked her about the fight and how everything went and she informed him that everything is now settled and they won. Marcellus was very glad to hear such good news and howled a little in happiness and celebration for victory.
Marcellus then asked his aunt curiously, “when do I get to go home then, since everything has been sorted out?”.
“Well my boy, that hasn’t been decided yet, you might have to stay here a little and I think you father will want you to keep a low profile for now but if anything changes I’ll let you know”, Nara informed him, smiling and rubbing his hand in assurance. She knew he missed home but he was also comfortable here and he understood where she was coming from.
When Nara was done, Marcellus offered to do the dishes, telling his aunt to go rest up. As soon as he was done, he headed to his room too and slept off.
Next morning>>>>>>
Nara got up early and dressed up, she was preparing to go to her private coven where the teaching of you get witches were. She missed out some because of the issues she had to sort out and didn’t want to miss on today’s own. She knew that her fellow witches would help her but she also liked being around. She got something light for breakfast and was about leaving when she was stop.
She turned around and met with Marcellus who was fully dressed, like he was also going somewhere and she asked him, “where you off too?”.
“I’m going with you”, Marcellus responded, “I’ve been indoors for so long, so just decided to come along and see the place you told me so much about”.
Nara had no problem with that as they both headed out going to the remote forest, where the coven was and were the activities take place. The learning, the training and all sort. Marcellus came to find out also that, the young witches were also being trained to fight.
Yes they were witches but they needed to have another skill up their sleeve in case of situations where they can’t use their powers, they will still be able to protect themselves from harm’s way and that was very good. Nara herself was a good fighter despite her powers, she had her own tricks and skills. Who knows if she had even more things that no one would ever expect. Marcellus was also quite eager to see how everything is and works.
As they approached the entrance to the coven, Marcellus could feel the anticipation building inside him. It’s was nice and exciting to meet new witches who are seeking to develop their skills and learn from from the coven’s wealth of experience.
The entrance to the coven was a sturdy wooden gate that stands at the edge of a remote forest. The gate is decorated with intricate carvings of mystical symbols and figures that hint at the secrets that lie within. It was also protected from the human world.
As they pushed the gate open, the first thing that striked Marcellus was the peaceful stillness of the forest. The only sounds he could hear were the gentle rustling of leaves and the occasional chirping of birds.
As he walked deeper into the forest with Nara leading the way, Marcellus saw a building emerge from behind the trees. It’s not too big and not too small, with a cozy and inviting feel that drew him in. The building was made of stone and wood, with a thatched roof that blends seamlessly into the surrounding landscape.
As they entered the building, Marcellus was greeted by the warm smiles of the fellow coven members and most young witches, Nara introduced him also. The interior was spacious and well-lit, with a large central area that serves as the main gathering space. Nara explianed to Marcellus, giving him freedom to move around and explore.
There were several rooms branching off from the central area, each dedicated to a different aspect of witchcraft. In one room, there’s a library filled with ancient tomes and scrolls that have been passed down through the generations of the coven.
In another room, there’s a large table covered in crystals, candles, and other magical tools. This is where they gather to perform rituals and spells, harnessing the power of the natural world to manifest our intentions, Marcellus supposed.
There was also a training area, where our younger witches can practice their powers and hone their skills. Here, they learn how to harness their energy and control their magic, as well as how to defend themselves against any potential threats.
Throughout the coven, there’s a sense of camaraderie and support. It was a tight-knit community, and it looked like they all worked together to help each other grow and develop our abilities.
As Marcellus took a deep breath and settled into the welcoming atmosphere of the coven, he enjoyed everything he saw and understood.
He was about turning to leave the last room he entered and to go meet his aunt Nara when he was met with a young witch, who should be of his age grade or a year older or something.
Marcellus wasn’t certain but this girl was beautiful with her gold and black mixed eyes, which sparkled and her black curly hair. He couldn’t believe the beauty that he just saw and that’s when he muttered, “Mate”.
