Part 2 CHAPTER 33

Book:Claimed By The Ruthless Alpha Published:2024-5-31

Alpha Aiden and the rest had talked about their plan and they were prepared to make it work tonight. Alpha Aiden was going to use Marcellus clothes or belongings to lure the vampire in the woods or forest out, they didn’t want to attack at his home , just in case and since the vampire was in search of Marcellus, he should recognize his smell and come out. Though this was planned within their family, in order to also protect Marcellus from more harm.
It was night and everyone was set and ready for the plan. Everyone was in their position and ready. There was no noise, just the sound of owls and other little animals at night, the moon awake at night.
Alpha Aiden had used his hand to plant Marcellus belongings and made sure his scent was strong on them. Since the Vampire could smell Marcellus strong scent, this could work, this will be the only way to save the werewolves for now. Though he was very careful with each step he took.
After he had kept the stuff where it was planned to to placed, he left the area to a hidden spot. Another werewolf made a sound, a howl as if he or she was in great pain or as if he was lost.
When a wolf/werewolf, howls in pain or is lost, it is a haunting sound that echoes through the wilderness. It is a mournful cry that can send shivers down the spine of anyone who hears it. Howling is a form of communication for wolves and serves a variety of purposes. In this case, the howl is an expression of the wolf’s distress, and it serves to alert other members of its pack or seek help from other wolves.
To produce the howl, a wolf takes a deep breath and opens its mouth wide. The sound is created by the vibration of the vocal cords as the air is forced out. The howl can vary in pitch and tone, depending on the wolf’s emotional state and the purpose of the howl. A wolf howling in pain or distress will typically produce a high-pitched and wavering howl, whereas a wolf howling to locate its pack will produce a lower-pitched and more steady howl.
The howl can travel over long distances, and other wolves can hear it from miles away. In this way, a wolf can communicate with other members of its pack or other wolves in the area. This is especially important when a wolf is lost or in pain, as it needs the help of others to survive.
Despite the haunting and eerie sound of a wolf howling in distress, it is a natural part of the wolf’s behavior and survival. It is a reminder of the harsh realities of life in the wilderness and the importance of community and communication in the animal world.
But this time it was to lure their target out and this werewolf was in no pain and was not lost but was very good at making the sound that suits the situation of being in pain or being lost. Anyone could believe that he was truly lost and even in immense pain.
It was as if nothing was happening and they wanted to set out for plan B until they heard a sound and remained in their hiding place. A man who they knew and could possibly be Lucas Morningstar came out, sniffing around like a starved person.
This was the place were Nara will come in and finish him up. She also had backup just in case of anything but now the floor was hers.
In the dead of night, Nara Inadu emerged from the shadows of the forest, ready to face the Lupus Vampire. Her long, black hair flowed behind her, and her eyes glinted with a fierce determination.
As she approached the clearing where the vampire was said to lurk, the air grew still, and the sounds of the forest fell silent. Nara could sense the evil presence of the vampire, and she knew that this would be no easy fight.
Suddenly, the vampire emerged from the shadows, also, its eyes glowing with an eerie, cold light that seemed to sap the warmth from the surrounding air. Its razor-sharp fangs gleamed in the moonlight, and its clawed hands flexed with an anticipation of battle.
Without hesitation, Nara began to chant an ancient incantation in Latin, her voice resonating with a deep, commanding tone that seemed to shake the very earth. The incantation was a spell of desiccation, one that would slowly drain the life force from the vampire and render it powerless.
“*Obscura noctis tenere potentia, voco tenebris umbrae, Et umbrae effigiem Vampiri tangere, constringere, sub iugo tenere. Firmamentum noxium, vox obscura, ligare sanguinem et animam, Arte magica te corripiam, vinciam, atque te in nihilum redigam. Vampirus neque mortuus neque vivus sit, sed inter utrumque, exsistat, Nec requiem nec gaudium habeat, sed aeternum cruciatum patiatur. In nomine Daemonium, per Noctem Aeternam, hoc sicut dico fiat*” Nara chanted.
The vampire launched itself at Nara, its claws extended to rend her flesh. But she was too quick, dodging to the side and unleashing a bolt of magical energy that struck the vampire in the chest.
The vampire recoiled, its body writhing in agony as the magic seeped into its very being. Its skin began to wither and shrink, its eyes growing dimmer with every passing moment.
Nara continued to chant her incantation, her voice growing stronger with each passing moment. The vampire tried to fight back, but its movements grew weaker and more sluggish by the second.
Finally, with a final cry of despair, the vampire fell to the ground, its body a dry husk that crumbled at Nara’s feet. She had defeated it with her magic, and as she stood over the remains of her enemy, she felt a sense of triumph and relief.
The vampire laid there unmoving, he was neither dead nor alive, But Nara was not finished yet.
