Marcellus told Alex to grab a cup of water from the bathroom please and bring it back to the room. Alex did as he was told, and Marcellus dipped his hand into the water. With his powers, Marcellus made the water dance and turn into bubbles in his hand. Alex eyes widened in awe as he watched in amazement.
“How are you doing that?” Alex asked, awestruck.
Marcellus smiled. “It’s my powers. I can control the elements, and I think most of my gifts keep coming as I grow or something”.
Alex excitement grew as he watched Marcellus play with the water. The water formed shapes and patterns, swirling around Marcellus hand like a magical dance.
Marcellus smile grew wider. He loved showing off his powers and seeing the look on his friend’s face. He was really glad he had Alex as a best friend.
“But I do have to learn to keep it hidden and stay safe”, Marcellus shivered at the thought of maybe being hunted. Marcellus stopped his trick and Alex took the water away. He then came back and hugged he’s best friend, telling him everything will be alright. The two boys went back to playing some games and talking about random stuffs before they slept off.

A group of people have been watching from the shadows, they were nothing but a thorn in their side.
For years, they had planned their revenge. They would strike when the Phoenix Pack was at its weakest, when they least expected it. And what better way to do that than to take their most precious possession, their Alpha and Luna’s ten-year-old son.
They watched as the Phoenix Pack went about their daily lives, blissfully unaware of the danger that loomed over them. The group of people bided their time, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. They studied their movements, their routines, and their weaknesses. They knew exactly when to make their move.
Finally, the day arrived. The group of people donned their masks, armed themselves with silver weapons, and set out to carry out their mission. They slipped into the Phoenix Pack’s territory undetected, their senses alert for any sign of danger.
They used something to draw Marcellus to them. At that time Marcellus was doing hide and seek with Alex and decided to go far, he didn’t know that he had gone much far away and then he saw a light and decided to follow. He’s mind was clouded with happiness and play that he didn’t seem to notice the danger.
In a flash, they pounced, snatching the young pup and making a run for it. They gave him something through a syringe putting him fast asleep.
At that time, Alex he been looking for Marcellus and was getting tired because he couldn’t find him anymore. Alex shouted and surrended, calling out to Marcellus and telling him he had won so he could come out but Marcellus never showed.
Alex was beginning to get scared and frightened. He ran back to the Alpha’s home, tears rolling down from his face as he shook in fear.
Aunt Zara who quickly noticed him, called out to Luna Camille who rushes and hugged Alex, asking him what had happened and where Marcellus was. Alex cried and stuttered as he explained everything to Luna Camille.
Immediately with no much time to waste, Luna Camille ordered some guards to quickly go and look for her son and then went to Alpha Aiden’s office. Luna Camille was already so upset and scared for her son’s life.
She barged into the office without knocking. “Who is th-?”, Alpha Aiden wanted to ask angrily but when he looked up to see his mate’s face, he quickly stood up and rushed over to meet her.
“What is wrong love?”, He asked as he held her hand.
“He’s gone”, Luna Camille told her mate, tears rolling down from her face.
“Who is gone?”, Alpha Aiden asked confused.
“Our son”, Luna Camille screamed in pain, “they took him, they took him!”.
Alpha Aiden hugged his wife tightly and linked his Beta. Quickly all off them were present in the sitting room. Alex was tied to his mother, sniffing at not knowing were his best friend was. His mum tried to calm him down and make him stop crying but he didn’t and later off he slept off with tears on his face.
Before Alpha Aiden could plan with his Beta on what to do. Luna Camille had already told them that she had sent some guards/warriors to go look for him immediately in case Marcellus wasn’t too far gone.
Those warriors came back with a letter in their hand which was to be given to both Alpha Aiden and Luna Camille.
Luna Camille took the later from them and read it out loud for everyone to hear.
*By now you should know that we have your son and there is no need for you to panic dear Alpha and Luna. But if you want your son back alive? I would love for Alpha Aiden to be at this location tomorrow morning alone. I repeat, come alone and if we notice that you defied us, we will slit your little boys throat in a second*
As Luna Camille read it, her heart boiled so much with anger and frustrating. She showed her mate, Alpha Aiden the location at the bottom of the letter and handed the letter to him, having a seat.
Luna Camille’s aunt, Aunt Zara held her hand and assured her that her son will be brought back alive.
“I would have to do as they requested”, After much thoughts Alpha Aiden concluded.
“You do know that this is a plan to lure you in and kill you right”, Luna Camille said to her mate, “we need a much better plan, because I won’t allow you go in there alone”.
Beta Liam also agreed, saying that it was dangerous for him to go alone.
Alpha Aiden then looked at all of them in the sitting room and asked, “then what do you all suggest we do?”.
