Alpha Luke’s body fell to the ground and Alpha Aiden held his head in hands. Alpha Aiden raised Alpha Luke’s head up, signalling that the Red Sky Alpha was dead. The war died down as the Red Sky Pack warriors, the one’s that survived retreated back to their home. The Two Moon’s pack howled in victory. After Camille was saved by Nara, Liam had helped her up and she still continued fight, though she was injured and it was healing fast because it was intense but she will heal.
Nara witches also helped in fighting, killing off anyone that crossed them.
Alpha Aiden thanked the Vampires, Lord Dimitri and they left after helping Alpha Aiden fight and win his war. The Two Moon’s Pack warriors rushed over to meet their Alpha, all of them howling with excitement and happiness that there Alpha was dead but he was strong and happy.
Liam hugged his best friend tightly, tears threatening to fall but he held it back as Alpha Aiden hugged him too. After they broke the hug, he spoke to most of his warriors and all, they helped carry the injured one’s back home. Alpha Aiden’s eyes wandered through the forest looking for someone.
“She’s right over there”, Liam said to Alpha Aiden, pointing at the direction where Camille stood and was talking to her cousin Nara.
As soon as Alpha Aiden spotted her, Camille also turned towards his direction and their eyes met together, no one averting their gaze.
***FLASHBACK***
After the war where Camille fought with the Red Sky Pack against the Two Moon’s Pack, that she defeated Alpha Aiden. When she came back to take over the Two Moon’s Pack, she had met Alpha Aiden still on the ground, unconscious. She wondered why none of his people helped him then it dawned on her that he was defeated and they had to save the injured first.
Camille was going to leave him there to die but she couldn’t, so she use all her strength to carry him up. Boy was he heavy!. She called her cousin Nara and asked for her helped, Nara made a portal, making her show up at where Camille was in less than some minutes, she helped Camille with Aiden as the three of the entered the Portal and soon found themselves in Nara’s home.
Camille felt hurt and bad seeing her mate in that state but she didn’t let it show. Nara treated Alpha Aiden’s wound, making it heal faster than it was supposed too. Nara also sensed that something was wrong and asked Camille, Camille hesitated before she finally told Nara that Alpha Aiden was her mate. Nara was a little bit surprised.
Camille had told Nara to lock him in her dungeon and don’t ever allow him come out, until she came for him. Nara was a bit unsure if she should but Camille made her promise. Camille told Nara how he treated her but she didn’t go deep, she just didn’t feel like saying bad stuffs about Alpha Aiden and she didn’t know why.
So Nara put Alpha Aiden and poured salt in a circle form, while Alpha Aiden was in the middle, she then did a spell that made him not to be able to break out from that circle. Those noise that was heard in Nara’s house from her dungeon was all Alpha Aiden who was trying to escape.
Though Nara gave him food and water when it was time but she never let him go. It was when the war got serious that Camille informed her cousin that she needed both her and Aiden here and they didn’t fail her. They came at the right time. Aiden didn’t even hesitate to come fight for his Pack and of course his mate.
They wasted a little time because, Aiden had to go get the Vampires to join him and it was successful.
***BACK TO THE PRESENT**
CAMILLE’S POV :
As our eyes jammed together, it was hard for me to avert my gaze. There was this strong connection pulling us together. The way he looked at me, it made me want to melt but I held myself. No no no, I shouldn’t be feeling that way.
“Just go to your mate Catherine, don’t be stubborn”, Nara who I was speaking to pushed.
“No Nara”, I said finally averting my gaze from his, “his not my mate and he never was okay”.
“Stop it Camille, I know your hurting. Alpha Aiden told me everything he did to you, I can swear that he regrets it all Camille. Just give him a chance to prove himself to you”, Nara said trying to convince me.
“Please just drop it Nara and let’s go back to the Pack. I’ll be packing my things and following you back to New Orleans”, I informed her, making Nara sigh sadly.
“Let’s go”, I dragged her and we headed back to the pack. She had done something, that made my injury heal faster.
Getting to the pack, we saw some of the injured warriors were being helped to heal faster by the witches and some the pack doctors. The witches in Alpha Aiden’s pack didn’t fight with me but it was okay.
The other warriors were surprised and shocked when they heard that Alpha Aiden was alive and back. They looked so very happy. I guess is better they stick to their Alpha anyways.
Alpha Aiden soon entered the pack lands, everywhere was going wild from everyone being so happy and excited. Suddenly as he neared the house, I and Nara were already there but helping some people, Aiden’s mother rushed and hugged her son, tears rolling down from her face.
I watched as they reunited, even Miss Clara went to hug him. My aunt Zara had come to meet me and on seeing Nara, they immediately hugged each other. My aunt scolded Nara for causing her so much worry, whereas Nara apologized. Then my aunt turned to me and hugged me, telling me that everything will be fine. I knew she knew what was going on in my head.
I nodded my head as we pulled away from the hug, I turned to make my way inside to start packing when I heard my name being called, “Camille”. That voice that brought chills to my body and made my legs weak.
