CHAPTER HUNDRED AND SEVENTEEN

Book:Claimed By The Ruthless Alpha Published:2024-5-31

Meanwhile…
Alpha Luke, set out on a journey to a distant land in search of a witch said to reside deep in the heart of a dark forest. He had heard rumors of her abilities and sought her out in the hopes of gaining knowledge and power for himself and his pack.
As he traveled through the thick and tangled woods, the Alpha could feel the weight of the forest pressing in on him. The trees seemed to loom overhead, casting deep shadows on the forest floor. The only sounds were the rustling of leaves and the occasional hoot of an owl.
The Alpha pressed on, determined to find the witch no matter what. He had heard stories of her fearsome powers, but he was not afraid. He was the Alpha, and he would not be deterred by mere rumors.
Finally, he reached a clearing in the forest. In the center of the clearing stood a small cottage, smoke curling from its chimney. The Alpha approached the cottage cautiously, his senses on high alert. He could feel the power emanating from the cottage, and he knew that he had found the witch.
He stepped up to the door and knocked. There was no answer. The Alpha pushed the door open and stepped inside. The cottage was small and dimly lit, but he could see a figure sitting in a rocking chair by the fireplace. The figure was an old woman, her hair white as snow and her eyes black as coal.
The Alpha stepped forward and spoke. “I have come to see the witch of the woods,” he said. “I have heard of your powers and I seek your knowledge and guidance.”
The old woman looked up at the Alpha and smiled. “Welcome, Alpha,” she said. “I have been expecting you. I know why you have come, and I will share my knowledge with you. But you must be willing to pay the price.”
The Alpha knew that there would be a price for the witch’s knowledge, but he was willing to pay whatever it took to gain the power he sought. He agreed to the witch’s terms and she began to teach him the ways of magic and the secrets of the forest.
As the days passed, the Alpha learned more and more from the witch. He grew stronger and more powerful. He had informed his family that he wouldbe coming back in a few days, so no one bothered to look for him as he was doing well.
Alpha Luke knew that it would be difficult to win the Two Moon’s Pack, so he decided to go get some powers to make him stronger, faster and powerful.
At Two Moon’s Pack
CAMILLE’S POV :
I and Liam got into the car, heading to the Vampires home to see Lord Dimitri.
We finally got there and I was let in, after a guard went to inform the vampire that I was here. I told Liam to let me go in alone and he hesitated a little before he agreed.
The guard led me to the place where Lord Dimitri was, which was the sitting room.
He stood up facing me and smiling, “Alpha Camille, it’s been a while. What brings you to my home?”
“I need your help,” I said, trying to keep my voice steady. “Our pack is under attack by a rival group, and I need your strength and power to help us fight back.”
Lord Dimitri’s expression remained unchanged, his cold eyes still locked on mine. “I’m sorry, Ava, but I won’t be joining your fight,” he said.
I felt my heart drop. “Why not? You’ve always been willing to help us before.”
“That was then,” Lord Dimitri said. “I won’t fight alongside a woman in charge. I refuse to take orders from a female.”
I felt my anger rising. “I am the alpha of this pack, and I will not be disrespected in such a way,” I said, my voice cold.
Lord Dimitri simply shrugged. “I have my own code of honor, and I will not go against it. I’m sorry, Alpha Camille, but I cannot help you.”
I turned and walked away, my heart heavy with disappointment and anger. I knew I couldn’t force the vampire to help me.
I felt a mix of emotions as I turned to leave the vampire’s mansion. I was angry that he had refused my request for help, but also disappointed and hurt that he didn’t believe in my leadership.
“It’s okay,” I said, trying to mask my emotions. “I understand your position.”
Lord Dimitri offered to escort me to my car, but I declined. “I can make it on my own,” I said, my voice cold.
As I walked away, I couldn’t shake the feeling that I had just lost an important ally in my fight against the Red Sky Pack. But I knew that I couldn’t let the vampire’s refusal discourage me. I was the alpha, and I had to lead my pack to victory, no matter what.
With my head held high, I left the Vampires home and left to my Pack with Liam. I told him the outcome of the visit and he looked disappointed.
***Alpha Luke had gotten the amount of power he needed to defeat the Two Moon’s Pack and had come back home.
