Nara led the other witches through the winding path through the woods as soon as they landed in Salem Massachusetts. The moon shone brightly in the night sky, providing a faint light to guide them. They all followed her in silence, their eyes glued to the back of her cloak as she made her way through the undergrowth.
Nara stopped and held up her hand, signaling for the others to be still. She sniffed the air and then pointed to the left.
“This way,” she said, her voice low and mysterious.
The other witches followed her, the dense forest becoming thicker and more foreboding the further they went. Finally, they reached the edge of a clearing, and Nara pointed ahead, siting the House Of The Seven Reds building.
“The place we are looking for is just ahead,” Nara said.
The witches all nodded and proceeded forward, Nara in the lead.
The witches arrived at the building, their powers crackling with energy.
Nara stepped forward, raising her hand, and with a powerful incantation, the doors of the building flew open and the witches burst in.
The witches of the Tansa coven turned around and saw that there place was intruded. There Leader stepped forward not seeing clearly who the people who just came into there coven where.
Nara and her witches walked further inside and that’s when the Tansa Coven noticed who it was.
“Seems like you have a death wish coming here like that”, the Leader of the Tansa coven said to Nara.
“And it seems like you won’t stop trying to kill me, knowing fully well your falling miserably”, Nara told her back, Nara’s voice calm yet strong.
“You will die today, you have no shame, showing your face at my coven,” the Tansa leader witch spat. “I have tried and failed to kill you countless times, and today will be no different.”
Nara was not intimidated. “You are a coward, hiding in the shadows and attacking from the shadows,” she said. “You are too afraid to face me in the light, where I am stronger.”
The Leader of the Tansa coven roared with rage and unleashed a wave of dark magic in the Nara’s direction. Nara stood her ground and fired an equally powerful wave of light magic at the dark witch, pushing her back. By that time all hell broke loose as Nara’s witches fought the Tansa witches but the leaders faced themselves.
The witch duel went on for hours, the two trading wave after wave of magic, neither one backing down.
“You think you can get away with killing me?” yelled the Tansa witch Leader.
“I’m not going to let you get away with it, the pain and everything you have made me go through. You won’t get away with it. You wouldn’t let me have peace and now you will fail to die peacefully”, replied Nara with a sneer.
“You haven’t told me what I ever did to you , to make you hunt your fellow witch”, Nara spat annoyingly to the other witch.
“Oh you have done quite enough by being born Nara Inadu. You should have died in your mother’s womb” the Tansa leader yelled angrily.
The Tansa leader was about to attack once more, when Nara held her to her spot with her mind. Nara didn’t use her hand or anything, just her mind. She was beyond angry, she hated anything that will bring up her family in a bad way and the mention of her mother that way made Nara furious.
All the Tansa witches had stopped moving, slowly each one of them fell to the ground screaming as blood flood from their eyes. When Nara was done with them, she looked at their Leader.
The Tansa Leader was already scared and started pleading with Nara to let her go but Nara was in no mood to hear or have mercy. Nara made the Tansa leader kneel before her and slowly Nara made the Tansa Leader suffer. She use her mind to make the Tansa leader burn from inside. The Leader started coughing out smoke, due to her insides burning up and finally turned into ashes.
Nara and her witches smiled victoriously. Nara was glad that finally her Hunter was down for good.
Nara and her witches cleared up the whole place, making it look like nothing had happened and left to go back to their home, New Orleans. Their work in Salem Massachusetts was done.
Getting back to New Orleans, Nara and her witches decided to go to a nice place to eat something together. It was already past midnight but they still agreed too. They found a place that was still opened by that time and got in. New Orleans was an interesting city, full of life and so many fun and nice things.
Nara was pleased to spend some time with her fellow witches. She was the first to leave the place after bidding them a goodbye/goodnight.
Nara got back home feeling exhausted yet relieved. She quickly changed out of her clothes, and she grabbed her towel and headed for the shower.
The warm water felt so refreshing, washing away the dirt and grime of the day. She washed her hair and body, scrubbing off the sweat and stress of the day.Â
Once she was done, she stepped out of the shower and dried off. She grabbed her robe and quickly dried her hair.Â
Nara started to change into her night clothes. She pulled on her loose-fitting nightgown and draped her robe on top of it. She yawned, feeling the fatigue from today’s goal, which was gladly achieved. She looked in the mirror and saw her long, untamed curly black hair. She pulled it up in a loose bun and put a few pins in to keep it in place. She was now ready to sleep, feeling comforted by the softness of her clothes.
She grabbed a book off the shelf and snuggled into her bed, allowing herself to drift off into a deep sleep, content with her achievements.
Though the noise from her dungeon, didn’t stop Nara from getting a goodnight sleep.
