CHAPTER NINETY FIVE

Book:Claimed By The Ruthless Alpha Published:2024-5-31

ALPHA AIDEN’S POV :
The next morning I had rounded up warriors and had a talk with them. Training was on and our plans of attack had been discussed. I gave the rule that all warriors fighting for the Pack are free to change into their wolves, whether it’s a full moon or not.
And that’s because the Red Sky Pack won’t be following this rule and it is not part of their pack rules. So my Pack is free to change and fight, that’s fair enough.
I gave some speeches to motivate them, told them they should be ready cause anything can happen anytime. After some talks and instructions, everyone howled in agreement, ready to fight and protect our Pack.
No one knew when an attack will be launched on either Packs. No one knew who would strike first but everyone had their guards up.
I went back into my office, arranging and sorting through some work. Alpha Luke is going to have it hard, challenging me. He’s a strong opponent but he doesn’t know what’s in for him.
“Alpha!”, Liam called out as he rushed into my office, with a note in his hand.
I looked up at him with a questioning look, “what’s the problem? Why did you rush in like that?”.
“The four warriors guarding the border are down and there was a note attached to one of their dead body” he explained as he handed the note to me and I stood up taking and reading it.
*Surprise surprise! Well I don’t think you were expecting this and it’s fair enough to give you a heads-up little Alpha. See you at the clearing, you know where! Hopefully your warriors get there before dieing*.
I squeezed the note in anger, how dare he.
Looking up at Liam I instructed, “gather up the first set of warriors to go for this war. This is only the beginning. Alpha Luke is a smart Alpha and I doubt he will be here today. So send the first set with a commander at the clearing, I suppose that’s where everything will commerce”.
Liam nodded his head as he went to work. This is going to be a long long battle.
***The clearing in the woods was bustling with activity as the warriors prepared for battle. Both the Two Moon’s Pack and Red Sky Pack had been training for some days or time, honing their skills and practicing their tactics, just preparing themselves. They were ready for this moment, and they knew it. It was a moment that the both Packs knew will finally come. As the Two Moon’s Pack marched into the clearing, they could see their opponents on the other side. The Red Sky Pack were fierce warriors, just like the Two Moon’s Pack. The two sides faced off against each other, each one sizing up the other. The Each Pack warriors could feel the adrenaline pumping through their veins as they prepared for the fight of their lives. Suddenly, a noise was made and the battle began. The warriors charged towards each other, swords and shields at the ready. The clash of steel on steel echoed through the clearing as the two sides fought fiercely, the warriors hadn’t transformed yet***
CAMILLE’S POV :
I was preparing myself to fight the witches, the eight witches gathered at the entrance, each one clad in black robes and armed with powerful spells and incantations. It’s good they had a back up plan to come to face the strongest witch, my cousin of course. But as they stood there, I felt a sense of foreboding from them, knowing that they were about to face a formidable opponent.
The eight witches stood in a circle around the entrance to the cemetery, their eyes fixed on something, I turned to my side to see a figure emerging from the shadows. The person was tall and imposing, her dark hair cascading down her back in wild, untamed curls. She had on a long, flowing gown of deep purple, adorned with intricate symbols and runes, and her eyes glinted with a fierce, otherworldly light.
Without a word, the person who I take to be my cousin began to move toward the eight witches, her fingers flicking in quick, precise movements as she summoned the fierce energies of the underworld. She didn’t have time for talks, straight to business. The eight witches had a look of fear and uncertainty as they should by now realize that they were no match for her. They quickly began to chant their spells and incantations, summoning all the power they could muster.
But Nara was too powerful. With a flick of her fingers, she sent a blast of energy hurtling toward the eight witches, and they were lifted off their feet and thrown back against the cemetery gates. They hit the ground hard, their robes singed and their bodies bruised. I backed away and let Nara, my cousin have a way with those witches.
Nara continued to advance, her eyes fixed on her opponents. She conjured a massive storm cloud, and bolts of lightning began to strike the eight witches, leaving them writhing in pain. But they were not to be defeated so easily. They fought back with all their might, summoning magical barriers and counter-spells.
The battle was intense and brutal, the cemetery grounds shook with the force of the magic being wielded. Nara’s gown fluttered and danced as she moved with deadly precision, her enemies struggling to keep up.
“You shouldn’t have come here”, Nara said with a dangerous voice and with a final burst of energy, she sent the eight witches hurtling through the cemetery gates, their bodies consumed by the inferno she had conjured.
The witches cried out as they died , they couldn’t do anything to stop the flames. Wow, that was unexpected.
For a split second I saw my cousin there and now she was no where to be seen.
I was about to go look for Nara, as if I would know where she was but before I could, she appeared by my side, almost giving me a heart attack.
“Hello Cousin”.
