“I can’t believe you’re vacationing after a long time now, Mrs. Monson.” Michelle spouted with misty eyes as she pulled Sia’s carryall to the car while Sia tailed behind her with Fur curled up in her arms.
It’s been three weeks since Silas appeared in the Monson villa and attacked her and Lucas. However, it seemed that Lucas beat the hell out of him which prevented him not to cross boundaries with her again. Therefore, Silas has never returned to the Monson villa to harass her like the old times.
That, Sia’s thankful for. About a week ago, Lucas visited her and informed Sia about the cruise trip they all will embark on to Yevpatoriya today.
At first, Sia wanted to object going on the trip ’cause there’s no one who will look after the Monson group but after lots of conviction from Lucas and Estrella, Sia decided to embark on the trip.
However, being off the grid for a long time now prevented Sia from getting a wind of the news flying around slowly about the defenestration of the Rose Monson, likewise Estrella and Lucas.
Although getting a wind about her death has nothing to do with her, or does it? Rose Monson hated her from day one she heard Mr. Monson married someone.
And Sia’s one hundred percent sure she hated her even before sucking in her last breath.
Twiddling the strands of hair that matted her face back, Sia let out a chuckle and said to Michelle, “You’ve always wanted me to relax, so I guess this is the perfect time for me to do so, right?”
Michelle drew to a halt and whirled around to face Sia. Liam who’s going to act as their chauffeur to the Monson private airstrip already clamped the carryall away from Michelle as she veered to speak to Sia.
“You don’t know how much I love this, Mrs. Monson. I wish I can go with you, so I’ll be prepping your dishes so you don’t have to bother cooking food.” She spouted. The look on her face made laughter break off Sia’s lips.
Sia stalked to the open back passenger’s seat door and sidle inside, her gaze locked with Liam’s briefly but he tore his eyes away. She wonders what Liam must be thinking.
Being the only one who will be handling a few things until she returns to work in the next two weeks.
If Rebekah was still alive, at least she’d have lent a helping hand. She knows much more than Liam does but suddenly death zoomed her way and pried her from Sia’s grip.
The guilt still chafes Sia’s heart. Although she had compensated Rebekah’s family with the sum of ten million dollars with a house here in Florida it still doesn’t wipe the guilt away.
Only she knows the wound her heart carries even though Lucas already told her not to fault herself but it’s obvious she’s the cause of the girl’s death.
Compensating the family didn’t help at all and now that she’s traveling, thoughts about Rebekah flashes through her mind.
If she had been around, the company will be more active.
“Don’t worry, Michelle. Estrella’s there to handle everything…”
“Guess you’re ready? Let’s explore, baby.” Lucas clenched into the car behind Sia, stealing a kiss from her while she was addressing Michelle.
Michelle is a staunch supporter of Sia and Lucas ’cause Lucas gives her equal love and attention Mr. Monson showered on Sia when he was alive.
A blush crept to Sia’s face at the seeming public display of affection. She slapped him on his chest, ducking from his face.
“You’re shameless, Mr. Evangelista.” Sia grumbled, peering at Michelle who held a grin on her face.
They quickly babe Michelle and the rest of the servants a goodbye then rolled down the street to the private airstrip. The drive to the tarmac lasted for an hour and by the time they arrived, Estrella, Ethan, and Adriano with his chippies already arrived and squeezed into the plane.
Estrella donned a mid-thigh chiffon shirt gown and a black converse while Ethan was on a short sleeve Dior shirt and shorts. Adriano wore brown shorts and a short sleeve dress shirt like Ethan.
And as usual, he was already fingering one of the ladies who came on the trip with him. When they entered the plane, Adriano quickly introduced the lady he’s fingering as the Italian girl he told Ethan and Lucas about months ago.
“So shameless…” Sia whispered to Lucas, making him drift into a gale of laughter. Leaning close to her from across his seat, he mouthed, “When it comes to fucking around, Adriano has no shame. Just give him an opportunity to fuck even in the church and trust me, baby. He’s going to do it without any fucking reserve.”
Sia gave him an eye roll as she watched Adriano jerking his fingers in and out of the girl while she endeavors to suppress her moans.
By the time the plane took off, Lucas pulled Sia to him so she straddled him.
“Shit. Don’t tell me you’re as mannerless as he is…” She couldn’t finish her utterances when Lucas crushed his lips on hers, silencing her words.
He combed his fingers through her hair and tilted her head, diving his lower lip into her mouth while sucking her upper lip, his tongue glided across it with ease and perfection.
Estrella stole glances at them and a smile made its way to her lips. She loves how their lives changes gradually. They’re becoming closer and Sia is happier and more relaxed.
She knows how the pains and loneliness weighed on Sia which is why she struggled for them to patch things up. At least, they’ve reconciled with their past and are making plans for the future.
Lucas drifted his lips from Sia’s, giving her time to recollect herself and steady her breath. He feels good, seeing how swollen Sia’s lips are from his hard, sweet kissing session.
Sia swiped her tongue on the corners of her mouth, cleaning the saliva nestled there. She pinned her stare on Lucas, wondering what his drive is.
Smiling sheepishly, Lucas framed her face with his hands and stole a quick kiss again as Sia pressed him with questions. “What’s the reason behind this joy swimming inside you, Mr?”
Lucas nuzzled the column of her neck with his nose, sending tingles down Sia’s spine. He knot their hands together and said. “I know it’s too early to say this but it was just a dream…” He said, flushing like a teenager.
Sia chortled at his shyness and swatted his chest, “Why are you fucking blushing?” She asked. Lucas pulled her hands up and threw kisses on her knuckles, his cock erected, wanting to break free from his pants.
Sia felt it shook her cunt ’cause she’s in a silky dress.
“I dreamt…”He dragged a long breath. You could tell by his sluggishness and shyness that the words are heavy to sprinkle. “Where we had a baby.” He gushed curtly.
Lucas’s words made Sia’s blood cease flowing and her face turned ghastly pale. “You saw me…give birth?” Sia turned a stuttering mess as the question rolled off her lips.
“Yes, baby. She looked beautiful. I wanted to hold her but something hampered me from doing so.”
“What hampered you?” She snapped.
Lucas regarded her for a minute longer, wondering if what he’ll say will make Sia angry. To avoid stirring unwarranted emotions, Lucas decided to cut the delicate parts of his dream and spouted.
“A woman slung her in her chest, backpedaling away from me as I tried to reach out to her. I couldn’t see our baby’s face clearly but I saw her eyes…” He took Sia’s face in his hands and sputtered, “She has my eyes, Sia. But I just couldn’t see the woman’s face.”
Sia felt something thick clog her throat. She downed the thickness but it traveled to the pit of her stomach and nestled there, brimming her with discomfort. “What then happened?” She asked, avoiding his stare.
Her eyes wanted to water but she restrained it. The last thing she wants Lucas to know is that they indeed had a baby. One that death confiscated from her the night she smelled the scent of the world.
“Nothing…” Lucas muttered, unwilling to relate the scene that made such a beautiful dream turn horror to Sia. Under his breath, he whispered, “they fell into a dark abyss. One with no return.”
