With a thunderous roar, a powerful presence suddenly emerged from behind. A burly man stepped forward, exuding a formidable aura. “Patrick Bailey, huh? A little bug that popped out of nowhere, trying to cause chaos in Yu Mountain City. Did you even consider the opinion of our Tian Bang? Rules are set by the strong, not by insignificant insects like you.”
He belonged to Tian Bang, a major force in the northern part of West State. The Meyer family in Yu Mountain City was one of the forces they supported, making Yu Mountain City a desirable place. “Patrick Bailey, you think our Five Great Families have no means? This is the expert Tian Bang sent to us. Enough to shred you to pieces. Release the person immediately,” Austin Meyer said.
He had backup, so he was confident. He wasn’t keen on taking the lead, as the real troublemakers for Patrick Bailey were the Wraith family and the Turner family, not his own Meyer family. They shouldn’t interfere too much.
But on the roof, Robin Bailey’s laughter echoed. “Little bug? How dare you address me like that? Do you even know that not even the Shadow Killers would dare call me that?”
“Shadow Killers,” the burly man frowned. He had never heard of them and was certain they weren’t from the northern part of West State. He scoffed, “Shadow Killers? Some small force thinking it can compare to Tian Bang. How naive.”
“Some say you’re a small force,” Robin Bailey replied softly. “Naive. I see that you are the naive one.” A powerful aura erupted, unprecedented in its intensity. It seemed to crush the entire area, overwhelming everyone from the Meyer family and even the Tian Bang man, whose eyes filled with terror. The burly man, being the strongest, knew what it took to defeat him. But this wasn’t beating him; it was crushing him. One glance, and the world changed color. It felt like his personal battlefield.
This power was unprecedented and terrifying-the burly man trembled, understanding that not even their powerful leader could withstand this force. “What… is this… being?” With his last words, he felt his organs bleeding and collapsed under Robin Bailey’s gaze, followed by the others.
It was Robin Bailey’s aura, stemming from his murderous intent, something these people couldn’t resist.
“Today, the Meyer family is exterminated,” Robin Bailey stated coldly. In a blink, everyone lay dead, except for Austin Meyer. Robin Bailey didn’t rush to kill him because he needed him for the Meyer family’s funeral in a few days. Austin Meyer, however, crouched on the ground, surrounded by corpses, disbelief written all over his face. “How… How… is this possible? How could this happen? I brought all of the Meyer family’s power. How… How could this happen? The Meyer family wiped out?”
Utterly shocked, he lost his mind, behaving like a child one moment, crying in panic, and like a madman the next, dancing and eating dirt. The insanity was real. Though he survived, the mental trauma from Robin Bailey’s aura had damaged his mind. He was truly insane.
“You shouldn’t have provoked me. Otherwise, the Meyer family wouldn’t have a few days left,” Robin Bailey said, holding Kimi Hall. With a thought, he tossed Elbert Meyer down, leaving him to suffer and perish. It was his own doing, as Isabella Turner had noted earlier-worse than animal behavior.
Then, Robin Bailey walked out with Kimi Hall, with his aura gradually dissipating once outside. Kimi Hall instinctively felt his warmth and embraced him. Isabella Turner, waiting anxiously on the street, worriedly listened to the noises inside. She feared for Robin Bailey’s safety but waited outside, as he had ordered. When the sounds ceased, she prepared to enter but was relieved when he emerged.
“Boss,” Isabella Turner greeted him, receiving Kimi Hall. She could no longer cling to Robin Bailey due to her injuries. He instructed, “Take her to the hospital. Attend to her wounds; there are some I can’t tend to.”
“Yes, boss,” she complied.
Driving ahead, Robin Bailey led the way, and Isabella Turner examined Kimi Hall’s injuries, realizing their severity, especially the swelling and wounds from Elbert Meyer’s assault. Though she treated them with Robin Bailey’s energy, the sight troubled her deeply.
Arriving at the hospital and sending Kimi Hall for surgery, Isabella Turner exhaled in relief, leaning against the wall, hoping for Kimi Hall’s recovery. But she remembered the Meyer family members, questioning, “Boss, what about the Meyer family? Did you make a deal with them?”
Assuming the Meyer family members had taken Elbert Meyer and left, she was puzzled by the quick and quiet commotion.
