Chapter 583: Achieving Success

After resolving things on this side, Robin Bailey returned to the room and found Fiona and Leslie sitting in the living room, watching cartoons and snacking.
“Eat less, we’ll have dinner later,” Robin Bailey gently touched the heads of the two girls.
“Okay,” the two girls nodded and continued eating.
“You two,” Robin Bailey shook his head, with a hint of indulgence on his face.
“Husband, you’re back. Hurry and take care of your soup. I think it’s almost done,” Elise Houry peeked her head out from the kitchen upon seeing Robin Bailey return.
She looked a bit disheveled.
Because she wasn’t very good at cooking, Robin Bailey had been the one doing it before, and she had only assisted. She had just tried it herself and almost caused an explosion.
“What did you do?” Robin Bailey walked over with a smile, then reached out and wiped the oil stain off Elise Houry’s nose. He stood close to her, causing Elise Houry’s heart to race uncontrollably.
“Ah, I was trying to cook fish, but the pot flew up. You go, I’m scared,” Elise Houry’s face blushed, unable to meet Robin Bailey’s gaze, and she pushed him into the kitchen.
“The pot flew up?” Robin Bailey couldn’t help but laugh.
Meanwhile, in the kitchen, there was another woman, Emma. This was the kitchen of the villa, quite spacious. She was cooking on the side and, upon seeing Robin Bailey, immediately felt a bit awkward. “I didn’t expect Elise to not know how to cook.”
She hadn’t expected it either. Otherwise, she would have paid attention and prevented the pot from flying.
“It’s okay, I’m teaching her now,” Robin Bailey shook his head to indicate that it was fine, then pulled Elise Houry over. “Wife, come here, let me teach you. We’ll cook a fish. First, add oil, sprinkle some salt, put the fish in, flip it… then add water… and then…”
“Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh,” Elise Houry nodded repeatedly, obediently like a child.
Emma, who was cooking other dishes on the side, glanced over and was somewhat surprised. When she first met Elise Houry, she was with Dillon James. At that time, Elise Houry was already the CEO of Landview Inc., a well-known and aloof female CEO in Stillwater. She wore a black and white OL uniform, exuding a powerful aura. She was especially cold, earning the nickname “the red rose” in Stillwater, beautiful but prickly, incapable of showing any gentleness. After all, at that time, Elise Houry’s net worth had already exceeded 10 billion.
Even Dillon James could only make Elise Houry speak slightly more politely, but she never let go of that aloofness.
She also knew that Elise Houry was a famous figure in Stillwater, and such an imposing aura was to be expected.
It wasn’t until today that she saw another side of CEO Houry, wearing a cute cartoon-themed home outfit that matched Leslie’s. She looked like a fresh college student, completely devoid of any aloofness in front of Robin Bailey. She was like a cuddly sloth, wanting to cling to Robin Bailey.
This amazed Emma greatly. However, when she thought of Robin Bailey, she felt relieved. Although she didn’t know Robin Bailey’s exact identity, her intuition told her that he must be formidable. Only a man like him could tame a domineering and aloof female CEO, making her so obedient that she wouldn’t dare to argue and would just rely on him.
“It’s really nice,” Emma thought in her heart, feeling that the two of them were a perfect match. She then lowered her head to look at her own cooking, but she suddenly froze because it was burnt.
“Oh no, how did it get burnt?” Emma stomped her foot in frustration.
Dillon James saw this and came in to help.
The two couples were busy in the kitchen.
After a while, the dishes were finally ready, filling up the whole table. But Fiona and Leslie couldn’t eat much after having some snacks earlier, and they looked at the dishes on the table with longing eyes. Then they looked at their own round little bellies, their eyes filled with grievances, almost on the verge of tears.
“It’s your own fault for not listening and eating snacks. Now you can’t eat anymore,” Robin Bailey tapped the heads of the two girls.
“Sob, we won’t eat next time,” Leslie and Fiona pouted, but in the end, they couldn’t eat anymore. They held hands and went to watch cartoons.
The remaining people on the scene chatted and ate.
Finally, after the family feast, Dillon James and the others left, and Robin Bailey and the others returned to the room. It was an eagerly anticipated night because Robin Bailey could finally sleep openly and honestly with Elise Houry. No more sleeping on the floor.
They were so happy.
Robin Bailey, dressed in pajamas, was waiting on the bed for Elise Houry. At this moment, Elise Houry walked out of the bathroom, also wearing a nightgown in a pink color. You could see her freshly bathed, fair and delicate collarbone, as well as her pair of slender and delicate legs that seemed fragile enough to break with a puff of air.
Elise Houry was still using a towel to dry her hair, and she seemed a bit nervous, with a slightly flushed face. She hadn’t really experienced that kind of thing before, except for that one time seven years ago. So, this time, she was a bit scared, but she also knew that it was a necessary step for her.
“Where is the hairdryer?” Elise Houry approached Robin Bailey and asked in a mosquito-like voice.
“Here it is.” Robin Bailey took out a hairdryer from under the pillow. He knew that Elise Houry wanted to blow-dry her hair after washing it.
“Oh.” Elise Houry took the hairdryer and went to dry her hair. For some reason, whether it was because she had just taken a shower or because of her own feelings, her face turned red. After she finished blow-drying, she nervously handed the hairdryer to Robin Bailey and weakly asked, “Where should I put this?”
“I’ll take care of it,” Robin Bailey said, taking the hairdryer, but at the same time, he moved closer and hugged Elise Houry, bringing her onto the bed.
Elise Houry instinctively felt a bit flustered. “Um… Leslie might come later…”
“I had Melody take her… to sleep… She won’t come tonight,” Robin Bailey whispered in Elise Houry’s ear, blowing a warm breath. This statement left Elise Houry at a loss for words. If Leslie wasn’t coming, what reason did she have to resist Robin Bailey? Besides, she didn’t really want to resist anymore.
Robin Bailey’s warm breath on her ear made her restless, and his intense masculine presence seemed to awaken the dormant hormones in her body, which she hadn’t felt for many years. Before she knew it, she found herself embracing Robin Bailey.
Finally, Elise Houry didn’t care anymore. She closed her eyes and softly said, “Be gentle, I haven’t really experienced this before, and I’m a bit scared. Oh, and turn off the lights.”
“Don’t be afraid,” Robin Bailey whispered.
Then, with a click, the light went off.
In the darkness, the two bodies entwined and the sound of their breaths filled the air. As the saying goes, a moment of passion is worth a thousand pieces of gold, and at this moment, they were consummating their relationship. Perhaps, there would even be a second child.
However, while they were peacefully asleep, Isaiah Clarke from the Clarke family still couldn’t sleep even now!
