Chapter 533: The Damn Annoyance

Book:The Warlord Is Back Published:2024-5-31

“What’s the name of that damn doctor, and where is he now?” Ferdinand Braton asked with a hint of eagerness in his eyes.
“I don’t know. The doctor came to see our young master. I don’t know his name or where he lives. Maybe our young master knows,” Elijah Wilson replied, shaking his head.
“Can you ask Dr. Dung to call Mr. Wilson and inquire?” Ferdinand Braton didn’t want to waste any time. Time was crucial in treating injuries, and the sooner, the better.
“Alright.” Elijah Wilson felt that this matter was worth a call to their young master. He took out his phone and dialed, explaining the situation and details to their young master.
However, all he got in response was a casual “Oh?” from the other end, a mix of coldness, curiosity, and surprise.
“What’s wrong, sir?” Elijah Wilson asked.
“Nothing. Handle it yourself,” and with that, the young master hung up the phone.
However, sitting in his seat, the young master shook his head, a hint of a smile on his face. He knew exactly who the Braton family was looking for-the miraculous doctor Patrick Bailey, the same person who had broken his son’s leg the previous night. An enemy and a savior wrapped into one person.
What would Ferdinand Braton’s reaction be? Shock, confusion, or perhaps even anticipation? The young master wanted Elijah Wilson to find out.
“Handle it yourself?” Elijah Wilson was puzzled. Was he supposed to help or not?
“Um, what did Mr. Wilson say?” Ferdinand Braton asked with his head down, placing all his hopes on the miraculous doctor.
Elijah Wilson didn’t answer immediately; instead, he pondered for a moment before saying, “The young master doesn’t know the doctor’s name or where he lives. However, he agrees to let me help you. I’ve seen the doctor before, and based on my guess, he probably treated the young master yesterday and should still be in the seaside city today. I’m confident I can recognize him if given another chance to see him.”
“Handsome, sharp eyebrows, around twenty-seven or twenty-eight years old. Got it. I’ll have people search based on this information,” Ferdinand Braton replied.
It was the only option. Using this information, they would find the person and have Elijah Wilson confirm.
“Handle it yourself?” Elijah Wilson was taken aback. Was he being asked to help or not?
“Dr. Dung, please assist. It’s a small matter,” Ferdinand Braton bowed slightly.
“No problem, no problem,” Elijah Wilson waved his hand. “But, let me make a copy of the doctor’s appearance. I may not remember it well, but I’m sure I’ll recognize him if I see him again.”
“Handsome, sharp eyebrows, around twenty-seven or twenty-eight. Got it. I’ll have people search for him,” Ferdinand Braton said.
With this information, they would search and have Elijah Wilson identify the doctor.
A few hours later, someone approached Ferdinand Braton. “Boss, Kimi Hall’s family is being protected by the Beckett family.”
“The Beckett family? Are they really getting involved in this?” Ferdinand Braton’s face revealed a hint of ruthlessness.
The Beckett family, again. They had interfered before, and now they were doing it again. Ferdinand Braton couldn’t tolerate it any longer.
Little did he know, it wasn’t Henry Beckett’s decision, but Mimi Beckett’s. She had decided not to harm Kimi Hall and even assigned protection to her, believing that the trouble Kimi Hall’s family had stirred with the Braton family wouldn’t end well.
So, Ferdinand Braton, unaware of this, was furious. “Go, head to the Tang family. This Beckett family is asking for trouble.”
“Yes,” his subordinate hurriedly arranged.
“Henry Beckett, this time, both you and Patrick Bailey will die,” Ferdinand Braton declared fiercely.

Tianqi Mountain Villa.
This was a famous villa on the outskirts of the seaside city, more of a guesthouse than a hotel. It was away from the main city, providing a safe haven from the three major families.
The sky was just getting light.
Two text messages arrived on Robin Bailey’s phone. One from Kimi Hall: “Why did you leave? My parents were shocked this morning. They said you were here last night, but you were gone early in the morning. The door was intact, and our house is on the fourth floor. They think you fled in fear. What does that mean?”
Fleeing in fear.
It was that simple; they thought Robin Bailey had slept with Kimi Hall and then run away.
But Robin Bailey hadn’t slept with her.
“Ah,” Robin Bailey sighed, inexplicably accepting a charge he didn’t commit. He then checked Mimi Beckett’s message: “Uh, about last night, I apologize. I didn’t expect my father to act that way. I’ve convinced him, and as long as you come back, he’ll apologize to you. I swear. By the way, the Braton family is causing trouble for Kimi Hall’s family, but I’ve arranged protection for you. I told you, fair competition.”
Kimi Hall.
Mimi Beckett found out about her, only for informational purposes. However, she decided not to interfere with Kimi Hall; instead, she had assigned protection to her.
But when Robin Bailey looked at these two messages, he rubbed his forehead and, in the end, could only sigh.
“Ah, this damn annoyance.”
